After listening to the whole album on repeat since release, this is one of my favorites that I keep coming back to. The message is powerful and beautifully written, but what really gets me is the sound - it's so driving and so much the quintessential Rise Against sound. This is one I'm very much hoping to hear you guys play live!

Maybe Its Just Me Being Biased...But This Album Is So Far Becoming My Favorite One Of All...Not Taking Away Anything From All The Other Ones Theyve Made.. This One Stands Out For Some Reason... No Matter What Rise Against Will Always Be My Favorite Band..
I know exactly what you mean, I started listening to RA back in 2005, and every time a new album comes out I have these exact thoughts. They're always evolving and raising the bar on their music, filling it with so much emotion.
Nothing will ever be as good as The Sufferer and the Witness, nothing will ever be as cherished as Siren Song of the Counterculture, and nothing will ever hit harder live than Revolutions Per Minute... But damn this album is sure trying!
"We're sending thoughts and prayers but they're not enough" I finally got around to listening to this album a few days ago, just after we finished sending thoughts and prayers to Buffalo and just before sending more thoughts and prayers to Uvalde.

I love their last album, along with every other album. But I feel like the last one had something missing in a way. I feel like they really took note of that and really filled that void. This album will go down as one of my favorites. I will always love them though, they write exactly how I feel, in these moments.
The verse is really Bad Religion-esque, especially the 2nd one - 1:21. I think it's the combination of the melody and the cadence of Tim's voice, especially the line "we're sending thoughts and prayers but they're not enough", pretty cool.

It would be cool yeah but I think that was the point: the person they're talking about is making empty, meaningless excuses. So it "Sounds Like" nothing. I feel like it would've landed better if the song just went dead silent there, no guitar feedback.
