Irish Bouzouki + Harmonica + Bodhran - Lexy McAskill, A Fair Wind

- Here's two uptempo reels together with my lovely wife Suzanne "Atomic Suzie". The first is called Lexy McAskill, which I picked up from the playing of the late John Cunningham, former fiddler of Silly Wizard. The second is called A Fair Wind, a tune I learned from Dervish's amazing album Midsummer's Night. The instruments are, in alphabetic order, a Martin O'Neill Signature Series bodhrán made by mr. Christian Hedwitschak, a Brendan Power's Modular Reed harmonica in G solo tuning, and a Fylde "longscale archtop" bouzouki tuned G,DAd.
Ok. I’ve been playing Irish music for 30 years in the states. Never seen the likes of that before. You’re both amazing.
Great selection of tunes. Mighty playing all around. I say mighty!
I don't know how this channel isn't bigger your music is world class.
tbh i couldnt stop watching man's lips. Like how can a person have so much control over the muscules? Thanks for music!
Unbelievable stuff 👌👌👌
I can only laud your gift of music and thank you most sincerely.
Hup hup from Ireland 🇮🇪 🙌 👏 👌
Sitting on separate seats this time so she doesn't get bounced all over the place like in the other video :D
So many talented people on RUclips. Amazing duo!!
Bravo on once again nailing playing two instruments at once!
Wow!! Those tunes really mesh well, and you two are a force of nature as always.
Amazing, what a fabulous duo of highly talented & creative musicians, love the arrangement so much, this is the kind of video you just can't stop watching right up to the end (like a good book)

Very enjoyable!
Pretty sure Tijn could play the bodhran with his feet at the same time. Maybe we'll see it some day..
W I T C H C R A F T !!!
Tijn, this is inspiring. Would you mind explaining the advantages to the G solo harmonica vs. a regular richter harmonica? I can’t really find any info on this. Thanks!!
Would you ya'll be interested in playing for the Flint Hills Shakespeare Festival in Kansas? Don't know where ya'll are from...
Well, we're from the Netherlands, so it's a bit out of the way. But if we're ever in the area we'll be sure to come by for a tune!
@@TijnB42 Please do! Seriously, we have local house concerts as well. So sorry you're that far away, but definitely look us up. Rather large community that loves this kind of music and would welcome ya'll with open arms!
Я думал, что ребята в поезде едут.
Wonderful! 😊
