I bought the Seydel Fiddle D harp when they first came out (2022 ?)... I learned Cary Moskovitz song "Sal's Got Mud Between Her Toes by breaking it down using Audacity... great & fun song to play ! I really haven't played any other song with the Fiddle tuning, except for some noodling around to see what I could come up with, like "Shortnin' Bread", but I can do those very well on a regular richter-tuned harp, but I still like exploring the Fiddle tuning ! I do love the Paddy Richter tuning--great for all kinds of songs, like "Tarantella Napoletana ", and a bunch of Celtic/Irish tunes... it is also great for playing minor songs in 4th position... like the theme from "A Fistful of Dollars", and "Ghost Riders in the Sky". I also love the Easy 3rd tuning, and the Melody Maker tuning !
This sounds like a harmonica I could use, I usually use a Lee Oscar Melody Maker .It usually works but once in a while there is a song which needs a couple more low notes like in Seamus O'Brien in G.

Alternative tunings are so good for so many tunes.
