I can bend the odd note but not consistently or well enough. I'm much more interested in Irish & country music. Your site is a godsend

Great video. So the paddy tuning does it come in different keys too? I guess I can look it up but can you get it in special 20? I've thought about buying a paddy but haven't done so. I haven't looked but have you done The Minstrel Boy. It never seems to sound right to me. And thanks for the Dan Tucker video.

Thanks, great tips, will consider course if I can. I'm joining a Houston Irish music class and learning Reel of Rio and Castle Kelly and I am trying to make those neuropathways really strong. I like the idea of just getting it "right" and memorized. I have friends who when they play fast just lose their effectiveness (get messy), and that's in blues which is maybe more forgiving. Look out Brendan Power LOL! BTW I am using one of Power's Lucky 13 Paddy Richter harps in C from East Top, it is pretty great, highly recommended.

Hey Nick perhaps you can help me with this. You say the first tune is in 1st position, C harp. So I look at a C harmonica postion chart and the "C" notes are 1 blow, 4 blow, 7 blow and 10 blow yet you dont use any of these notes. I don't get how your playing in 1st? The positions have always been a mystery to me, Thanks
