For B/7 draw, you have a tongue split with D/4 draw, giving you an inversion of a B Major chord. For A/6 draw, you have an octave on 10 draw, which still isn't much since most of the commonly used octaves are in a lower register, but might be useful if you're playing in the top octave, since most octaves can also be played higher.

Thank you Nick. That's exactly what I needed to find since I'm learning the guitar (rock and kid songs) and harmonica and I'm trying to upgrade my level in musical theory. Harmonica since 1991 (particularly irish folk but all styles) and guitar seriously since 2020 (I just discovered that the notion of strumming- D and U- is a simplification for beginners). Cool 1 4 5 lesson. It is sometimes hard to get the 4 and 5 chords separate because they are so close to each other on the draw plate. I'll try the two harp method for some of those sad sad old folk songs about lost love and dying hobos. Great channel. Thanks for the hard work

good practice!. you can do that also while puckering. You do have to tongue block, though, when you do octaves, etc. This would be good practice for tongue blocking.

Great video. So the paddy tuning does it come in different keys too? I guess I can look it up but can you get it in special 20? I've thought about buying a paddy but haven't done so. I haven't looked but have you done The Minstrel Boy. It never seems to sound right to me. And thanks for the Dan Tucker video.
