    I ordered that exact harmonica after seeing this video. It doesn't even sound like the same instrument when I try to play. I think he must be lip syncing along to an accordion CD!

      He said at the start this one is custom tuned, paddy richter most likely.

    Your harmonica playing is amazing mate so I thought I would ask the best person for a simple answer, if I want to play the likes of Morrisons Em or Drowsy Maggie what key harp should I use xxx

      .....WOW!!!! I wish you might consider doing a few more videos, breaking down some of the bars of this tune, or similar tunes, and demo just what some of the "licks" are, and how to get them to work together, to use in similar tunes. For me, I can play simple tunes, and bend most of the lower notes, but, I find it hard to follow what's going on, when things go so fast. Once I can put all of the "pieces" together, then I can comprehend the entire picture. Thanks, for great demos!!!! You've achieved some truly Great skills!!!

      guloguloguy a game changer for me was discovering that if you click the three dots in the upper right corner of the video you can play it at half speed or even at 26 percent which enabled me to write down the tab. So cool... I never knew you could do that until a week ago. So now learning this is actually doable !!!!!!

    How hard is to learn the harmonica for beginner for Irish jigs and reels in d&g and would you need 2 different key harmonicas for each key of tune depending on the notes👍

      It takes some practice to get it going, but everything is possible 😊 I will be together with Harmonica School Berlin launching an online platform this summer where you can learn Irish music on harmonica. Yes you would need harmonicas in different keys and sometimes different tunings 😊

      Yes that's a possibility, I have a low D in Seydel, Silver (stainless) and the low keys sound very unclear and heavy, whereas yours sounds very light and clear...obviously I'm taking into account that you are an excellent player so you make it sound it good...

      nodgelyobo1 The Harmonica I play is a customized harmonica, and that is one of the biggest difference, you’ll get much better response and higher volume.

    I'm thinking about attempting to learning to play Irish music on harmonica. In your opinion what tuning is most useful for this type of music, Paddy Richter, Melody Maker, Country , solo, or Richter. I have played solo tuning a lot in the past. I have a melody Maker and an Orchestra S in solo.

      It's a traditional Irish reel, often known as "Cooley's Reel".

      No, I have a c and it's not great for playing Irish music. Especially with others. most irish traditional tunes are in D or G and sometimes A. I'm getting a D which covers a lot.
