Saw this at TIFF yesterday! I thought the director did a great job capturing the humanity in the story rather than amping up the melodrama. Just focused on how devastating the impact must have been on families who lost their loved ones to this monster. Recommend checking it out when it's out of Netflix! Unfortunately, this trailer gives out way too much.

Just saw this movie, and the reason why I think he kept killing patients was May be because his mother died due to the same carelessness of the doctor and none came to help him. In fact in one of the scene where Eddie Redmayne keeps staring at Ana Martinez is quite chilling. He says to Jessica that his mother passed away when he was a kid, and the hospital lost her body, and could not find until a couple of hours. And when found her, she was in complete mess, and half naked and not taken care off. He wanted to give dignity to the dead bodies. Also he kept killing and none of the hospitals stopped him from doing it. Hence the negligence towards patients kept happening, and all the hospitals cared for, was there business and reputation.
