This was a lot of fun in the theater.
When the guy was going to open the door to the shed, everyone started yelling "No! Don't open it don't go in there!" and he stopped and walked away and everyone cheered.

I like how the movie uses it's limitations to it's advantage to fool the audience, you go in thinking it's just a low budget horror and given the title at best you're thinking pranks gone wrong and whenever you see a "body" or "blood" even if it looks obviously fake you overlook it and chalk it up to the low budget so you buy into the whole "evil" twin all the way up to the big reveal.

This is the movie that the movie Thanksgiving was inspired by. In the movie Grindhouse, the fake movie trailers had the original version of Thanksgiving Day and it was an obvious parody of April Fool's Day. But the current version that recently came out in movie theaters was slightly changed. Kind of like how Machete was changed a little bit in the movie version in comparison to the way that he was portrayed in the trailer in Grindhouse.

Deborah Foreman totally nailed the character(s) in this film. Friendly Muffy / somewhat off "Muffy" (who may or may not be 'Buffy' at that point) / 'Buffy' the deranged killer twin / friendly Muffy who was really herself all along.
The premise is completely f***ed up: like, making your friends think they were being stalked and killed off? They're gonna have PTSD, joke or not!! She did explain that her concept for turning the mansion into a profitable business would be a paid "murder mystery" event, where the paying guests would know they were in for an immersive play-acting experience. But to "test" the concept on her friends, without telling them first? She could have been like, "I have this fun idea for a murder mystery game, can you help me out?" Instead she allowed them to believe they were in danger of their lives, and that their friends had been brutally killed. Are we sure she's *not* mentally disturbed?
Anyway, it was kinda' fun to have a slasher film where nobody is really actually slashed. Even the jump ending was a double-fake-out.

This has to be the first slasher film where nobody dies and the ending was not what I was expecting. And loved the part where Mr. Movies tells Mrs. Movies he'll make her scream later...in bed!
