During Operation Market Garden, the congestion and German resistance along the road to Nijmegen and Arnhem had delayed the British ground advance. British Paratroopers, who were held up inside the city, fought fiercely against the Ninth SS Panzer Division. The fighting lasted for four days until the Paras were finally overrun and captured. Operation Market Garden, was considered a failure, resulting in many lives being lost without enough ground being covered to gain victory for the Allies. Of the 10,000 Paras that entered Arnhem. More than 1,500 were killed and over 6,000 captured.
I would like to say a special thank you too Kobikowski for voice acting, be sure to check out his channel after the film.

The figures are great, and despite the amount of CGI, it still fits in greatly with the stop-motion, which is also done really well. Awesome work yet again.
Thank you, I wanted to use cgi for this film as I felt i could do more in terms of the films visual work. But ive realised that alot of people dont prefer it as much as a natural set so next time im planning on foucsing on all brick built sets and only use limited CGI if i can get away with it.
Well, we have hit 50,000 views so far people, I would once again like to thank you all for supporting my endeavour to create RUclips videos, lets keep it up :D
You are awesome
U have amazing videos

JedAnimationStudios
Surprisingly, one of my favorite WW2 animations on YT, and I've been here for 7 years :)
My great grandad fought in WWII and how he would remember this if he was here ;( (he didn't die in the war he died long after the war at 92). Its channels like this I love because it reminds me of how brave he was. Let's think about the people who served in the war before you scroll further down P.S (Scroll down until end)
Thank you 🙏🏻
I cannot believe its only until now that i have seen ur comment. Thank u so much for ur kind and heartfelt words my friend. In sure ur grandfather was a great and brave man. My he rest in peace.

Thanks! I used images and photos i found on google to make the houses look as close to their real counterparts
Awesome work! Just one quick suggestion - I feel like the troops fired SMGs in shorter bursts to save ammunition, but hey, it's just a little thing :) Great jon with this one! I look forward to more.
Great job Jed! I love this brickfilm!!!! :D
+BrickDodger Thank you Dodger, its something I really wanted to make for a very long time, glad I did with the great response I got from my fans :D
I would like to say a special thank RUclips to Kobikowski and the people who provided me with the custom minifigures and accessories in order to make this piece possible by asking you guys to check out their RUclips channels and websites in the description, they have some high quality stuff which could help you guys out in your future online content. Thanks :D
Nice job man! Question : Were the people who are in the Dark Tan at 5:44 The 1st Polish Brigade? From what I knew the 1st Airborne Division was with them.
+RUclips Wars 5:24 sorry for the mistake.
+RUclips Wars hey man. Yeah they were. when the situation in Arnhem became so dire for the Brits high command ordered Polish paratroopers into the city to help with the withdrawl
+JedAnimationStudios Alright great! Atleast the Polish get some show XD. But still GREAT JOB! KEEP IT UP!
+JedAnimationStudios are those your german solders made in china. Just so you know the crate is made in china

Ik wel
Yep, our town has been through a lot
GREAT STOP MOTION LOVE SPECIAL EFFECTS
Thank u, i was looking to go for something different with this project
Love your stop motion detail!! Ejecting shell casings add that extra coolness too. I like your composite at 2:45 of the German 88's. Very good composite with the Vickers Machine gun foreshortening as well as the Bazooka. I look forward to seeing more of your films.
Thank you so much man, this is the kind of constuctive feed back i like the most, gives me an insight to what people like. I will be sure to keep it up :D
No problem. Love the live element of your stop motion medium. Are you using more natural lights/ cans, etc? Are you using After-effects, combustion, etc. on your effects?
good job mate i mostly like it when the tanks come in!
Well done the best ww2 Lego vid I've seen
By the way I forgot to mention, I also have a Facebook and Flickr account which will keep you people up to date on my upcoming brick films with exclusive behind the scene photos and specially selected film stills from the latest animations I'm working on. Again, links are in the description :)
Nice video, can you Plz do a ww2 haul

+JedAnimationStudios, a video when you show tanks and Guns and more!
+Elias Öberg Oh right a haul, yeah, I might do that someday :)

Good stuff man Good stuff. Keep up the great work.
Amazing work as always :D
This si my favorite video and best one THAT ive seen
Good job:3 I know first hand how hard and long it takes to make even a shitty lego film yet you made 6 minutes of amazing animation and quality :3 GG C:
Awesome work Jed, I missed this when it came out! Truly your best video yet and one of the best ww2 stop motions on RUclips. I just with you had some dialogue thrown in there, just to add a bit of a plot... But maybe that's just me :) excellent work bud!
+Mr. Svenson Thanks man, knowing its one of my best animations so far really means a lot to me. There will be plenty of dialogue in the next one.
Anyone else find it super weird everyone is smiling? I know it's lego, but it haunts me.
Not everyone was smiling
Didnt u see some soldiers they were mad

im pretty happy with this vid cuz not much people make vid of arnhem i live in holland its hard to find a ww2 vid that was made over ww2 holland
Thank you, sorry for my late reply. Yes I totally agree, especially on operation market garden which is an important. I hope to someday make more episodes on different battles that took place during this conflict such a Nijmegn (i hope thats spelt right) and so much more
Best JedAnimationStudios, if this battle never happened i maybe never borned.
The scene where the british planes drop the supplies and the germans get them remembers me of a scene from the film "a bridge too far". Have you watched this film too?
Yes i have, actually it was one of the main inspirations for the film
Salam
Love it! Greetings from the Netherlands
Great job Jed! Very well done!
+CheeseCakeFilms05 Thanks Karin, really means a lot to me :D
+JedAnimationStudios Haha no problem, but that's me moms name :') i've just got it on my E-mail
I am Garrett
Oh right, lol I thought it was your name, my mistake haha XD
Haha no worries
Excellent work 👏👏👏
Great job, but from what I know they didnt use prop planes, they used gliders. Hear me out:
They would of pulled the gliders all the way to Germany, then let them glide to their targets. This makes sense as Op. Market Garden was meant to be top secret, and getting in was the hard part. Since gliders dont use any engines, they are effectively completely silent, and the only way of knowing theyre there is to look up, giving them a tactical edge and a small element of surprise.vAnd lets face it, if you cant hear a prop propelled plane but can see it, what would you think?
Very good animation!
Where did u get the helmets and the british torsos if i go to the linked channel it says it isnt an channel anymore? Off course nice video this is one of my favorite!!
This is nice work
Where did you get those Minifigures and brickarms are they custom made
M1917A1 Machine gun & bazooka weren't used at Arnhem, instead they had 303 Vickers MG's & PIAT anti-tank weapons. there are records of other US small arms employed at Market Garden tho.
Awesome stop motion next mr pearl jack
Where did you get the sound effects at 2:54 where the paratroopers scream their lungs out?
Nice job
Love the video but my destruction side of me would like to see deformation on the tanks and ground when hit though. Again I absolutely love the video. Just trying to help.😃
+sam bolen Thank you man, and thank for the feedback, that's the whole point of the comment system, I will make sure to use that for the next film I make :)
Perfect!
Loved it can't wait for the next one!
+Jordan Landau Thanks man, I have yet to figure out what I'm going to make :)
Nice dynamic fight:)
+StopStudio TV thanks man, I wanted to take a different approach to making ww2 brick films in this project by instead of focusing on one soldier or squad, but rather the whole situation from different soldiers, both British, Polish and German's perspectives :)
This is brilliant!
Nice Animation
Wonderful Job.
Nice helmets with net very Nice
Where did you get that German soldier cap at 1:32? Can you send me the link from where you got it
Sure, they were made by Brick forge but u can buy them form other places too www.brickforge.com/Field-Cap.html
But how did you make the British paratroopers helmet?
Stil very nice
Awesome job! Im really in the mood now because I just saw "A Bridge To Far". Just one question, was the anti-tank gun in that one scene supposed to be a PIAT, because PIATS looked different.
+Wes Morrison I couldn't find or make any PIATS, so I just used m1 Bazookas instead. Thank you for your comment :D
Your'e welcome! I have been trying to make a PIAT but I cant find the right look.
How did you make this British Paras helmets?
Amazing work Jed! Nice to see some is picking up the torch after MrPearlJack! :)Not sure if you knew but I changed my name from Military Swagger to E Bricks...
+E Bricks Thanks man, but I could never compete with him or the other RUclips greats. I just hope I can continue making these for as long as I can :)
I think you are actually a pretty good contender! With more time and larger sets your films will definitely be as good as his!
E Bricks I hope for that too, I would actually like to carry this on as an online career as well as a hobby. All I need is funding to do it. Maybe if I get enough subscribers, I can open up a funding account like Patreon so people can help me :)
I really hope your channel starts to pick up steam! My goal right now is to break 100 subscribers.....that's nothing compared to what you have! lol
+JedAnimationStudios Also this inspired me to try make my own stopmotion. Difficult due to my voice sounds weird in video and bits falling. Plus I got only a tablet.
Very, very, very good!
very good work!
did this take a while to make because this has so many good scenes anyway thumbs it up
+Dragon Warrior Yeah, it took me quite a while to as I had a lot of college work to do, hopefully it will be all worth it in the end :D
