This is the best lego stop motion I have ever seen. The emotion on the soldier being hit. The movement smoother than warm butter. Amazing purely amazing.
Because the battle was for every house, for every street, the average life expectancy was 15 minutes, about 2 million people died. I myself now live in this city and now it is called Volgograd
Absolutely love the Romanian participation, I always appreciate it when Lego animators add or at least mention the Minor Axis Powers on the Eastern Front
Hello! I'm from Russia. I really liked this animation! The scene of the Battle of Stalingrad is presented here very competently. In animation, as in real life, this was just a dynamic meat grinder. I am very sorry for those who visited there; we will never forget their feat! But at one touching moment I felt sorry for the German soldiers... After all, they are people too! Good luck, health, happiness and development of the channel to the author of the video.)
Тоже люди ?? Которые истребили 17 миллионов гражданских, сжигали их заживо и насиловали, морили голодом жителей Ленинграда ?? Таким как они пощады нет и не будет.
This is incredible. Well done, Cheezy! 👏 The subtle movement of your figures, the camera, and environmental objects within every single frame is quite impressive. 🤯 Everything about this film is amazing. Well done in producing a top-tier quality project! 🙌
this was BRUTAL. Your sense of weight in animation is unmatched. Every bullet and piece of shrapnel feels like it could take my head off. Really good shit.
Last I saw a Lego stop motion with a firefight that claustrophobic and tense would have had to have been Brickdictator’s black powder red earth, and in a lot of ways this was honestly even better than that. It’s not often I see violence in Lego and genuinely wince and say “Jesus Christ!” But this did that a few times. If we could have had the best of all worlds and had the gore and minifig dismemberment of Brickdictator combined with this, we’d be in the gold.
@@cheezyballz Awesome to hear. I also wanted to say aside from the animation you’ve nailed as far as the tension, claustrophobia and overall choking feeling that you brought to the firefights, you also nailed it for a lot of cool and accurate historical details like the inclusion of Romanians. We almost never see them depicted like the Italians in the North African campaign though they contributed an awful lot to it.
I really love this kind of cinematic. Made me watch the whole video twice. This animation is so smooth, and the action gives more horrors of war then all of other ww2 Lego channels. I've watched
Easily the most intense stop motion I've seen. Each bullet and explosion is weighted perfectly with the camera shake, the movements and reactions from the soldiers are concerningly lifelike... the sound dimming before the Panzer II opens fire (4:13) and the SU-85 is destroyed (5:40) pronounce the explosions and make them feel even more dangerous. This thing is freaking amazing. also, the music at 1:40 is perfect
@@PanzerOfTheLakeProductions I didn’t do much research to be honest, so there’s actually a lot of historical inaccuracies as pointed out by some of the people in the comments section
Just imagine the actual people in this war seeing themselves in Lego. This was so good my friend just inspires me tenfold. I hope you realize how inspiring you are to others man. 👊
this randomly popped up in my feed. I have never seen a Lego animation skit or video in any form and to be honest my expectations were not high due to my biases. This absolutely incredible. I recently saw Madame Webb ( a movie with a massive budget and amazing animation) and this person puts more stakes, shows more drama, and has WAY more dynamic action with just Legos and a camera. Well done mate this was brilliant.
This is the best lego stop motion animation i seen the effects muzzle fkashing camera movement the whole story looks like its not an animation just a lego really fighting each other this is how realistic it is WOW my favourite part is on 1:36 i like the story about the officer leading the small group of men to death the animations are best mainly the death ones i rate it 100000000000000000000000000000 out of 10
Dude how is it possible to make a stop-motion this good?! The transitions, the camera movement, the sound effects, the animation, and the special effects are all superb. I genuinely think, that your stop-motions are the best of all time!
i adore the effort put into the effects like gunshots and bullet impacts with them being actual lego pieces, the muzzle flashes especially. while feeling a bit exaggerated at times the minifigures are all animated super expressively and i love it
this is genuinely one of the best lego ww2 stopmotions i have ever seen, very smooth and detailed animation, I like it a lot. some other stopmotion makers that are similar to yours are tinman productions, walter dixon brickfilms and brick dictator, you should check them out. Also, small error in the film is the fact that a panzer ii was used in stalingrad, which in reality it probably was not due to it being obsolete against soviet tanks (as you show in the film) but other than that a very nice film altogether, great job man. You should try to make the battle of the bulge also for your next stopmotion, if you want to. (if you dont have enough winter soldiers aliexpress has some very nice ones for little cost) nicely done cheezy 💯💯💯
Bro you deserve millions of subs bro, i really like the detail how that one german soldier got hit my a flying rock from the xplosion tho, it's so smooth and adds life to the Minifigures
I love the audio mixing here. the gunshots, the distant warfare, the tanks, beautiful. the amount of FPS when the characters walk is amazing too, especially with the destruction going on in the city.
how. HOW. HOW?!?!?! Idk how you do it man, it makes me tear up seeing this blood bath. I half forget it's LEGO. You make things so realistic, the war cries, the explosions, the death, the blood, all insane. I don't know how this was possible, but only Cheezy could do this.
verdammte scheiße ist das gut animiert, und diese soundeffekte geben dem ganzen nochmal einen viel besseren und realistischen vibe, respekt, wirklich, Hut ab!!
I just returned to the lego stop motion scene. About 2 years ago i discoverd your channel and fell in love with your stop motion. Amazing that your still going strong!
Holy shit this has to be one of the best Stop Motions I have ever seen! Everything is so smooth, the effects are plenty and beautiful, the figures feel alive, the sound design is awsome... Everything feels so chaotic and yet there is no problem to understand whats going on! Exellent work!
I never thought a Lego movie would give me chills. But this gave me the damn near the same goosebumps Saving Private Ryan’s opening scene gave upon first watch 👏🏻
I also liked how you included female soldiers on the Soviet side of the Red Army. Even though it's just a supporting role, it's not prominent. Running with the male soldiers on the front line However, it would be great if you made a story about female soldiers on the Soviet side - snipers and night witches. Because they played a very important role in history. And I love how you tried to add chaos and wildness to it. It's like the Soviets are the bad guys. This was not unusual because the war at Stalingrad during that time was very barbaric and brutal. The Soviet side fought fiercely, using brute force, to push the Germans out of the city. Meanwhile, the German side was in chaos and supplies were in short supply. Therefore causing to be defeated in the end respect with love from Thailand, keep doing great jobs.
Stop motion is amazing. It's extremely great to see that you've put detail into things that make it much more interesting. Also, thanks for subtitles since I don't understand Russian
Man. It’s animations like this one and animators like yourself that prove leaps and bounds that Legos aren’t just for kids and I respect the hell out of that. And btw, loved the added scene when that tank destroyer’s round just…deletes poor Richter. You’re a legend, mate.
i like the small detail of the officer giving orders and taking over the machinegun position but still comforting the soldier he relieved from the position instead of chewing his @$$
