This is spectacular. Absolutely masterpiece. Words cannot describe the action and effects shown here. If a picture says a thousand words as some say, then this brick film is a million words! Keep up the good work Jed!
Masterful work Jed, you've really nailed it this time. Lighting, sound, animation, pacing, action... everything worked together very well! Looking forward to a part 2...? Would be cool to see this same group of Rangers making their way inland!
How did I not see this before!? You did a great job--I love the set and special effects. Keep up the good work. May I suggest you do a Stop Motion on one of these: -Battle of Kasserine Pass -Battle of Berlin -Battle of Monte Cassino
Absolutely fantastic as always Jed. I know how long you've been working on this and it's fantastic to see it has all paid off as usual. Really well done, can't wait to see more of your work!
Nice job, I enjoyed it and thought it was great. I will tell you that it wasn't completely historically accurate but that's hard to portray in Lego, I liked the cod 2 sound effects and how you used some parts of saving private Ryan in the film. Can't wait to see more

Just discovered your stuff - amazing work! I remember making stop motion Lego vids with my friends 15 years ago in elementary school. Somehow we never quite got them as smooth as yours ;) I hope you love making these as much as I love watching them. PS would kill to see some African campaign Brits vs. Italians
a fantastic animation but if you dont mind historical perfection the bombardement happened before the landing. I was in pointe de hoque and the amount of bunkers there were extraordinary but almost all of them were destroyed. Your animation was really smoth and the scene beach had elements in common with saving private Ryan great video deserves long comment
Thank you Miguel, I do like these kinds of comments, gives me more for me to learn from so I can improve upon my future films. I am also aware about the bombardment of the cliff and the last scene was originally going to be replaced by a set of artillery guns getting destroyed, but, time would have it, I had to make the bunker destruction scene instead, but its just as good :)
@@JedAnimationStudios Thanks for the quality movie, I got a lot of pleasure from watching it, you were very good at combining smooth animation and very epic special effects.
I am planning on doing another vote video so u can decide on another film idea, Second Battle of Kharkov will be in there so u can vote for that if u like :)
BrickMove well, I'm sorry to say, I didn't record any animating or editing during the production, I sort of just wanted to get on with it u know, especially as I had work and other things to do at the time, maybe in the next video?
Thank you all for getting Pointe du Hoc up to 200,000 views!
you are welcome
Correction. 210,000
well, at long last this film has finally made its first 100,000 views, i am very thrilled, thank u all for the support

Monte Cassino would be a great one to do. I would love to do kasserine pass. I will have to hold a Poll after Kharkov 2

This deserves more than 210k views and 2.3k likes and the 88 who dislike are just jealous they can not do this
Hey Jed. Awesome work. Captured a really wet, over-cast setting nicely. Well thought out. Obviously a bunch of work went into it. Very Well Done Mate.

Thank u
@@JedAnimationStudios you're welcome
I always wanted to make such amazing animations like this but well I am not that good at it and I am a lazy impatient bastard.
Hahaha, i totally know what you mean my friend. It is not the easiest thing to do. But its all about perseverance at the end of the day.
awesome dude!
great.
BTW, how long does Hong Kong Toys take to deliver to USA?
KingwoodStudios cheers, i thinks its based in the us
hong kong toys take about a week to ship if you're in the US, but 2 weeks if you're outside the US
This seems like a lot of work.
Ur amazing u deserve more subs
Where do you buy these minifigures
Did they wear tan or olive in the actual battle?
Jack B all US troops at D Day word a mixture of olive drab/ green /dark green uniforms & equipment
They started off olive, and as they got dirtier, they became tanned.
Actually it was tan and dark tan to start with some olive and green , as they got inland it turned brown.
Wow, excellent animation, I do not understand why so few views?
Thank for ur kind words, yeah, neither do i tbh, I think it needs to be shared around more
@@JedAnimationStudios Thanks for the quality movie, I got a lot of pleasure from watching it, you were very good at combining smooth animation and very epic special effects.

Did you guys used some Day Of Infamy sounds?
From where did you get those nice ami figs
Very cool !!
Loved the video can't wait to see what you do next also can you make a second Russian and German battle please?
I am planning on doing another vote video so u can decide on another film idea, Second Battle of Kharkov will be in there so u can vote for that if u like :)
+JedAnimationStudios ok good to know .
What stop motion you do this with?
Where did you get your sound effect?
Where did you get the soldiers?
This is basically of saving private Ryan. The scene when he falls from an explosion and sees burning people is almost exact
Alexander Kozlowski this video was based from the mission in call of duty 2 which was made before saving Private Ryan
@@MAHSP00NIST0BIG saving private ryan was made before cod 2
Jokes on you :D Pretty cool video! A behind the scenes would be great
Jokes on me how? If u check out snooperkings channel he has a live stream of the sound editing
Yes I watched it but I think that a VFX breakdown would be pretty cool
BrickMove well, I'm sorry to say, I didn't record any animating or editing during the production, I sort of just wanted to get on with it u know, especially as I had work and other things to do at the time, maybe in the next video?
hey guys, i was wondering how much are the hong kong toy store products based on or compatible with lego? and or are some of the parts real lego
the US soldiers in this video are from there, for what they are, they are really good quality and work will all lego products, defo worth the money :D
