I also dress up even though it's a phone interview because putting on nice clothes given me more confidence.
Hi Heather, I recently had a phone interview and thought it was going to be a video interview. I couldn't convey my passion for the position as much as I would've liked to. I ended up writing this in 1 of the thank you letters. Also there was noise during the phone call because it was with 3 people who were at their homes. Would you happen to have a video on thank you letters?
I have a telephone interview tomorrow. This was very timely. Thank you!
One of my clients did jumping jacks before her interview and said it really helped get the blood flowing and got her in the zone...she got the job!
Haha! That's awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot, Heather. Enlightening!

You're very welcome! What was your favorite tip?
found this just in time! I have a phone interview an 2 hours~
Thank you so much for this video, I was able to pass my phone screening today!
Yeah! So happy to hear. Sending you good vibes.
Thank You Heather. First phone interview ever. Your information is so helpful.
I was looking for this kind of video. Thanks mam.
Awesome! So happy you found this vid. When is your phone interview?
My issue during a phone interview I get so nervous even though I'm not face to face with the interviewer and I end up answering the questions wrong even though my skills on my resume align with the position's skills. I keep telling myself not to get nervous and don't even think about it but that don't work. When I send my resume, I get offered a phone interview the same day or next day. When the phone interview happens, I get so nervous and don't get offered another interview. It's frustrating and I'm trying my best not to even though I practice a lot and prepare before the interview.
I have a interview in a couple of minutes! I hope I get the job
Wishing you all the best. Sending good vibes your way.
Wish this video was uploaded earlier. I had a phone interview hours before this video came up. :( But I think I nailed it since I binge-watched your other videos. :)
Aww shoot! Happy to hear you were able to binge watch my other RUclips videos. Which video has been the most beneficial for you so far?
@@ProfessorHeatherAustin Definitely the writing resume part! I always make sure they're customized according to the job, and not just a cookie cutter resume.
It made me realize how far I've come in my career! :)
Hi professor Austin I haven’t been able to reach out to you this week because I have been trying to tell you that I am disabled. So I’m looking for a job working from home.
Thanks for watching Rosalind! I'm so happy you were able to comment this week. What was your favorite tip in the video?
My favorite part of the video was when you said that I didn’t have to dress up . And that I would be able to take notes.
After following your advice, doing the right things I still didn’t get hired. It’s official I’m a loser and a failure 😢
I’m dying here and you are much to enthusiastic. You obviously have a job😣
So sorry! Yes, I have a lot of energy. What type of position are you looking for?
Dental insurance processing. I can’t GIVE myself away.. I have no confidence left…and no more money either! 🥲
gurlll too much and wrong aahah
