HI STEVE SAW YOUR WALK TO ST THOMAS BAY,IT'S BEEN YEARS SINCE I WAS THERE,AS I USED TO DO PATROLS IN THAT AREA IN THE 70s AND THERE THOSE TIMES USED TO BE ONLY A COUPLE OF BARS WHERE YOU COULD HAVE A BEER OR SOME TEA ECT, SEE ALSO HOW FAR YOU WALK,GOOD FOR YOU.CHEERS YOUR WELSHMAN IN MALTA.
My cousin has a boat house in the area near the end of your video. Its converted into more of a summer house, but those are all boat houses that are used as sort of summer bbq areas. We liked the reggae bar when we were there. A very nice spot. Next time walk up Nd take some video of the boat houses. There are a few blocks of them behind. My cousin redid his and its very nice!

My regular swimming area. The 91 to Marsascala continues up to St Thomas' Bay before circling around to the final stop at the terminus :). I think the Marsascala airport bus also stops there

I've been there but briefly on a tour of the South, looks lovely. Are there any places to stay in the South, I ask that respectfully because I just don't know much about the South, not much below Valletta TBH. I did spent an afternoon in a massive market in Marsaxlokk, one of the biggest I've ever seen.
Hi Steve, all new to me. We used to go a little further as one of my uncles had a boat house in San Tumas ( St Thomas) . As you say no transport past Marsascala but the walk wasn't that bad and then we would spend the whole day at the beach and then sometimes spend the night as well 😊 really good times. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Only been there once, over 50 years ago 🧓. Didn't look like that at all, although, it looked more unspoilt I suppose. Yet another place I`ve not been to Steve , but as you say `stunning` . I love the name of the place as well , but if you`d have said it to me without explaining that it was a location, I`d have expected some exotic Maltese food with a side order of chips .

The funny thing Steve is when we first went there in 1997 my young son and I were snokelling when he suddenly panicked and swam in shore, I said " Johnny whats the matter," he said " the shark" I said " Johnny that was in the 1950s he's not there now " no, he said " but I bet he's had kids " I did laugh. I have a couple of photos of the temples in the Dolmen if you want them. We are in the Topaz for the next couple of weeks.

We always get the bus to St Thomas Bay. The are very few and far between.
