🌿 This is part of a new series for beginners. Figured I'd make some shorter videos exploring the basics in the same detail I build bigger templates. This gives me the ability to create more often! Cheers! Ps. I'm uploading short videos for advanced users too starting in a few days. Follow me on Twitter for updates!
A software engineer on my team introduced me to the wonderful of Notion. I was really keen on using Notion to capture my personal, work and side business - but it was all so overwhelming to navigate! I am so thankful to have stumbled across your channel. Thanks for distilling the functions and showcasing it in a practical context. Subscribed!
Thanks so much, Red. You have a very nice way of presenting information and you don't talk down to your viewers or condescend. New subscriber. I'll look forward to more Notion videos - much appreciated!
Heyy Mil gracias, después de este tutorial, puedo desempeñarme mejor y organizar mi time line, hace una par de horas no sabia y ahora tengo un conocimiento muy valioso, Felicitaciones, excelente contenido :)
Ran into your videos by accidents. Watched 2 and both are awesomely easy to understand, straightforward without any fluff and many useful tips. Subscribe right alright. Keep up the good work! Thanks
Best tutorial i found. So many thanks for you. And i have a question: is there a best trick to integrated google calender to notion calender. So if i input on my google Calender is automaticly entered on notion. Thanks alot for the answer
Can you show us how to make a reminder after the end of a process? I tried to put a reminder on the expiration of the time, but I did not receive a notification that the period has expired. Thanks.
Can you please help me to correct this formula : if(prop("Done") == true, "★ Done", (dateAdd(prop("Date Learned"), pow(2, toNumber(prop("Level")) - 1) - 1, "days")))
Great video! Now I need help! After I add the "end date" property, dragging the right edge of the event in the timeline adds an end date to the "start date" property rather than changing the value for the separate "end date" property. What am I doing wrong?
@@stephanieweiler2399 I'm no expert (obvs)...do you see the "sort" menu item at the top right of the timeline? Clicking that should give you a popup to choose which properties to sort by. You can add "start date" and then "end date". (I think.)

Timelines are definitely my least used view in Notion. Great tutorial!
The auto fill using filters is very neat. Thanks for this!

I thought I knew filters. Thanks!
When I make timeline view it doesn’t have porperties to add more porperties in left side.
This feature would be sooo much more useful if you could have more than one thing per line. I can't fathom why it's designed like this.
Hi! Thanks a lot for your tips. My notion doesn’t have that “by start day section” how can I fix that?
Hey, can you tell me how to calculate the number of days from a start date to today's date, please? And thank you for the useful content.
I don't get the three cards listed on the left of the table so you lost me...
Can you show us how to make a reminder after the end of a process? I tried to put a reminder on the expiration of the time, but I did not receive a notification that the period has expired. Thanks.
Wtf? Why doesnt my notion have timelines? I use it on my tablet.
