Both Lisa's version and Queensryche's version are sublime. I wonder if anyone has tried to blend the two songs together? I would love to hear Geoff Tate's and Lisa's voices together. The world would cease to spin on it's axis for a moment. lol
Great song. I read inside Rage For Order booklet that Queensryche offered Dalbello to play the role of Sister Mary on Operation Mindcrime, but she refused due to scheduling conflict
the queensryche version was always one of my favorite songs of the '80's....and now this? it is amazing!!!!! i cant believe i NEVER heard this before. well, better late than never!
Without Lisa Dalbello, Alanis would have never existed. Such a talented and original lady, I never understood why she's never had the success she deserved. "Whomanfoursays" is still a terrific album.
This arrangement of the song is incredible. I knew Queensryche's version was a cover..but this is just as cool and even a little more brooding and ominous. I had never seen the vid...Awesome.
I only know Queensryche's cover. I have been looking to hear this and find the cd. I havent been able to find it and now I can see the video too! KURDTSS is the best and so is YOU TUBE! Thanks to both!
She is SO great. This album and "She" in particular. This is really inspired and original music - and some serious artists who rarely do covers did covers of her music. I wish there was more! Someone post the German concert that's out there!
I remember that I wasn't surprised to notice that her Co-Musician Mick Ronson played such a great part in the early works of David Bowie. This song together with "She pretends" inspired some adventures in my adolescence :)
music history period! my bud and i, whenever we are losing a close game in x box hockey, pop in "let's tango"... we've never been scored on, nor lost with that trac playin'!
I'm a Fan from Germany she's fantastic all the Years thrilling Sound nice Style :) and totaly differend Music !! so sad she never will come back ... or ?
I always wanted to hear the original version of this song ever since I heard the Queensryche version, I must say, I like the Queensryche version a tad better, but this version is amazing in it's own right. DalBello did an awesome job.
This is an amazing album, really. All the music is done by Lisa and Mick Ronson. Many people hve covered songs by it, but the originals are best - and more inventive with less budget!
SUPERB! I've been waiting 21 years to watch it again...since i've bought everything from her and even contacted his bro Stefano who does the marketing for her...great song and terrific visual !! Anybody knows the director of the clip ?
Sorry raymondreich - dont agree. Queensryche did a good job but the original from DalBello studio and live has more originality and power. She just blows minds higher.
Agreed. It's important to see the original though, esp. since Queensrÿche's video has the same feel. Though, given the song's subject, it's perhaps not that surprising. Still interesting.
Remember this artist WROTE the song in the first place....maybe 'Ryche made it more "metal" but as good as they are they didnt write the harmony, arrangement or lyrics. But this song does fit them like a glove!
She's fantastic. I have "Talk To Me" on video and the live version of "Let's Tango," but I have to figure out how to convert from VHS to upload to RUclips. Any help would be appreciated.
@stuesdays Exactly the same for me. I knew the song was written by a woman but had no idea who she was or that she was also a singer herself. I'd just presumed she'd written it for Queensryche. Great great song.
God i gotta give her credit! You would never expect such freaky lyrics from a woman, no offense i mean im a girl too, but srsly the lyrics had 'psychotic obsessed guy' written all over it. I guess thats why i prefer Queensryche versions better.. but this version is ok. =P
im here cause im a big Queensryche fan, but even with that said, i like this version better. it fits more as a synth pop song like this, the metallic version by Queensryche sounds just wird and doesn't really fit their style.
Hi there.. I have just uploaded "Tango" music video clip. I would love to be able to help you upload "Talk To Me" and the live version of "Tango". Is there any way you could mail me a copy and I could upload it for you? =)
How canthey do it better? This IS the original song. QR and Lisa are friends, they did a good job, but THIS ist way mor dynamic than Geoff and the ladds... imho
i just lost a bunch of respect for queensryche. such a great song, i thought it was their original song all these years. i hate when that happens. i remember my parents telling me about just a gigolo. i thought it was a david lee roth original, i was about 13, what did i know right? when i heard the original i liked it just the same as crazy dave's.
Both Lisa's version and Queensryche's version are sublime. I wonder if anyone has tried to blend the two songs together? I would love to hear Geoff Tate's and Lisa's voices together. The world would cease to spin on it's axis for a moment. lol

Stalker's anthem!!!
Great song. Both Ryche and this version. There just ain't beautiful crazy-pop like this around anymore!
This arrangement of the song is incredible. I knew Queensryche's version was a cover..but this is just as cool and even a little more brooding and ominous.
I had never seen the vid...Awesome.
she was way ahead of the game...........incredible...
Lisa was so creative & talented! I met and interviewed her in 1988 for a music magazine.
Ah, the memories!
the greatest female artist in the world so talented she has created her own unique style, no other female comes no where near her
CANADA has some of the best musical talent...that truly deserved more than they got way back when...This is a briliant vocal track Lisa!
Lisas from Toronto, the Weston area.
I am as well. She never got the credit she deserved. Shes amazing!
This is one of these awesome songs that turned us into lunatics back in the 1980s. Love it! Ol' moon madness has struck again this night...
I only know Queensryche's cover. I have been looking to hear this and find the cd. I havent been able to find it and now I can see the video too! KURDTSS is the best and so is YOU TUBE! Thanks to both!
Wow, this is so much more creepy and sublimely disturbing than the QR version! I was a die-hard Tate worshipper, but wow, she really out-psychos him!
She is SO great. This album and "She" in particular. This is really inspired and original music - and some serious artists who rarely do covers did covers of her music. I wish there was more! Someone post the German concert that's out there!
I love this woman
I remember that I wasn't surprised to notice that her Co-Musician Mick Ronson played such a great part in the early works of David Bowie. This song together with "She pretends" inspired some adventures in my adolescence :)
this video was always in heavy rotation on much music back in 85 and on samantha taylors video hits
Didn't know that this version existed. Prefer the Queensryche version but, pretty cool, actually... (:o)
Lisa has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. Thanks for uploading this!
classic 80's-she rocked!!!!
Finally.. Ive found the incredible singer of song "Start Today" off of Alex Lifeson's side project, VICTOR album. She rules! Very intense singer.
music history period! my bud and i, whenever we are losing a close game in x box hockey, pop in "let's tango"... we've never been scored on, nor lost with that trac playin'!

Hello watchitbuddy,
I hear you big time. The soul of music is gone....for now....I still hold the torch that something will happen.
I love this video, because one questions who is stalking whom? heh
Dalbello was crazy-cool, both with this and with "Do you want to TANGO?"
This is an amazing album, really. All the music is done by Lisa and Mick Ronson. Many people hve covered songs by it, but the originals are best - and more inventive with less budget!
Excellent version of the song. I still prefer the queensryche version being the metal nut that i am. But Dalbello`s voice is def amazing.
Hell yes! I never saw this video... thanks for sharing and posting!
Scary and sexy! I love 80's music.
Goddess!
wow, and i thought tate's way of singing it was much different from the original...
this girl is amazing!
i love her voice, talent, concepts, i love her totally!!!! k im just a big fan ok??!!
I love this song so. it seem ist belongs to me since 10 jears
SUPERB! I've been waiting 21 years to watch it again...since i've bought everything from her and even contacted his bro Stefano who does the marketing for her...great song and terrific visual !! Anybody knows the director of the clip ?
a fellow Canuck!
Sorry raymondreich - dont agree. Queensryche did a good job but the original from DalBello studio and live has more originality and power. She just blows minds higher.
If Carole Pope is to be believed, which can be a dubious concept, Dalbello is straight.
i usually like te original more but your right this time

Yeah. Tate put on a way better stalker face when they covered it... =P
