Man, I completely forgot about this song. The Iron Maiden lyrics in this song always hit home with me cuz I was a huge Maiden fan in high school and it definitely didn't win me any popularity contests.
As a HARDCORE metalhead whose a teenager rn....I've always been confused like wasn't heavy metal/hard rock considered extremly cool in 90s/80s? Like ur always seeing how axl rose/nikki sixx/lemmy used to get SOOOO laid?
@@sidmajumder5207 Well keep in mind those guys were rock stars. Big difference between some high school kid that digs Iron Maiden and the actual guys in Iron Maiden :D. Also, there was a fairly big distinction in social circles between the hair bands and bands like Iron Maiden back then. I guess 3-4 minute songs about getting high and laid attract different sorts of crowds than 13 minute long songs based on a poem from 1797. 🤷♂
This was a terrific choice for a song to cover. It literally fits everyone perfectly from vocals to the instruments. It had that original sound to it, but also felt a bit more full bodied, if that makes sense. It was a really good cover and I really do dig the nostalgia. I also think you guys could do something special doing a 'Savage Garden' cover.
Killer cover as always! I love to see how much fun you guys have while doing what you love. I tell everyone I can that they are missing something amazing in their life if they don't know who F211 is.
Your voice is one of the best voice I've ever heard. I can't even explain the feeling. This soft voice just relieves your brain and let you disappear in it. You are perfect, just keep singing. Let our ears have a party! Also the color of soloist's eyes astonishing.
Audra, you are clearly a superstar like Hayley Williams of Paramore. You have it all: Great vocal chops, accurate intonation, wide range, great dancer, great personality and smile, self-confidence and beauty. Your band knows all this and how fortunate they are to be working with you. Many offers will soon be coming your way. Steve S, producer and director.
Yall nailed the vocal style for this song, and the whole overall style is spot on to the original but still with your own twist. Great cover! That group harmony part was also awesome, nice to see the whole gang :)
I thought the original version of this song had a female vocalist singing it back when it came out. It wasn't until I saw Wheetus at a music festival that I was like "Wait. This song is sung by a dude?"
