I miss Adam and Stacy's mom is an iconic song
The whole quarantine 'self filming' parts of this really give it an early 2000's music video vibe. It *definitely* fits the song and makes it stand out a bit more from the last few releases (which were all great, I just meant with visuals/tone). Great song that is pretty much known by everyone and yet you still make it 'yours' by making it sound fresh. Each week it's something great from you guys.

I know! I hate when people change pronouns in a cover... or worse, when they change entire sections of a song due to insecurities about gender norms. I once heard a man cover Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" who totally rewrote the lines about "she rolled my hair and put my lipstick on in the glass of her boudoir" to something "more manly". It ruined it for me. It's just so unnecessary!

In high school, we had a karaoke night. I was the shy kid. For whatever reason I got up there and sang this song. Everyone was blown away and next thing I knew I was crowd surfing. Excellent cover!

I grew up not too far away from the store this band took their name from and always remembered passing it on the highway. The name and store stuck out a little. So when this band came out, I couldn't help noticing them and being fond of them for the reminder of home. RIP Adam

Great song and great job on the cover! The band I was in years ago did this right after it came out. When I heard it I laughed and said we just had to do it. The irony being in high school, for me was in the 80's, there was a girl named Stacey who's mom was incredibly hot and I remember saying I wanted to take out Stacey's mom. Love the song and still makes me smile thinking about Stacey's mom. Haha!
