And those bombing runs, by the Ukrainian Air Force, were largely or 100% by old, analog Mig-29s.
Wait until Ukraine starts using 15, 25, or 45 modernized cockpit F-16s, with helmet mounted display firing capability... that are just as good at night as they are in daylight...
F-16s may be "useless like tanks" or HIMARS trucks, as Putin's weapons experts and RUclips warriors say... but those F-16s could do Mach 1.2 to max Mach 2.05 across Ukraine, the second largest land in Europe after Russian itself... compared to tanks doing 45MPH & HIMARS trucks doing 70MPH, max.
And, unlike tanks & HIMARS trucks, the F-16s are equipped to carry dozens of different devices, missiles, & bombs.
I think Ukraine has a plan that is already in motion and I think Russia and Putin will be completely caught off guard by it.
Think about the battle tactics. Where are the Russian hubs?

@@B.D.E. For real. Ukrainians comprised about 40% of the losses of the Red Army in WW2, so they were a huge part of the Soviet war machine. Proportionally miles ahead of Russians. Ukrainian SSR was also THE hub of military industry, ship building, rocketry and aviation industry within USSR. Russia is mostly a resource extraction field, with industry here and there.

Hi Georgie- please look at Kursk and Belgorod region agriculture-its August harvest -wheat, spring barley, corn, sunflower, soybean and rapeseed will not be collected-its massive for the Russian food economy. Its an impact that no one is talking about.

It will be interesting when the parents of these very young men realise that their sons are now either captives being used in near suicidal attacks.
Ukraine has let POWS call their family to let them know they are safe. It helps put pressure on Putin to have a prisoner swap.

You’re right, if you take a step back, it is almost unbelievable what is going on.
Problem is the AFU treat their prisoners of war with 3 meals a day so when it comes to prisoner swap the Russian prisoners come back to service in better shape than they arrived whereas the way Russia treat their prisoners of war…. Well you have seen the photos
True... but is not really a problem because if the old prisoners will be send to front line, they will tell everyone that they where treated better as prisoners than an ordinary orc soldier... so they will convince further to throw their weapons down
They don't have any motivation to fight to the death. In fact they have every reason to re-surrender
