Absolutely overjoyed finding your channel. Appreciate the clear and concise explanations about what you're showing. Thanks for the time you spend to help us, the people on the other side of the camera.
I always watch your viedos as soon as they are published. Lot of knowledge packed in with no-nonsense delivery. Also I like how you point out things that you would differently if doing it again. Thanks Steve !!
I've been edging ply with hardwood for many years with my table saw, I do cut them a bit over size, then use a flush trim bit in my router to flush them to the ply. It works perfectly for me. SR
I should have shown that in the video. The bottom 1/2" of the riving knife is not tapered, it is just a uniform 1/8" width. Here is how I made the riving knife: 1) starting with a rectangular piece of wood 3/8" thick, 2) cut a rabbet in along one edge to leave the 1/8 x 1/2" tongue, 3) cut a taper on the piece of wood (I used band saw, but there are other ways), 4) sand smooth if needed, 5) glue the 1/8" tongue into the base. Hope this helps.

Thats cool.
Thank you Steven.
I just made some edge banding yesterday. This is an elegant approach.
I'm really enjoying your videos!
Nicely done with excellent instructions.
Great video! You covered a lot of ground on this one. Timely also, I’m planning a plywood project now.
Well done! I always learn something from you! I appreciate you taking the time to teach us!
Great jig! I'll have to make one for sure.

I don't understand how the tapered wooden riving knife gets glued into the blade slot
