Within the first few seconds of this video I was thinking, "Oh man. I want a cat like this." Then he mentioned 6 cans of food a day and $100 grooming bills, and my thought became, "Oh man, I'd love to meet a cat like this."
Just a beautiful cat , I had one just gorgeous ! But...6 cans of cat food? Mine was 20 pound but I gave him salmon and duck he was a good size they are rugged but over weight may not live as long as 15-17 years? Some reg. Cats live up to 23! My vet. Was very good with my Mainecoon and said, 2 cups dry a day, plus of course some treats. I got food from chewy and it is pure no junk! He had much energy. Just something to think about. Your cat is beautiful.

@@darkheart._ Regular cat is awesome enough for love and company. Train your cat to be an indoors cat, treat them well, be mostly the only family it's got and need, and you'll be set.
My British Shorthair follows me around at home too, and he runs to the door, cries loudly purring and rubs against my legs everytime I come back.
But if you have a western style independent house instead of an apartment for a home, it might be difficult to grow them into indoors cats.
