But the white lipstick (or whatever that is) makes it look more like blackface then anything, ganguro also do have white lipstick but these two characters ‘lipstick’ looks more like face paint. Gyarus also put on white eye-shadow and sometimes on their nose, so it seems odd. Also the characters also lack in many important things in gyaru as well, from the school uniforms it’s most likely they are kogyarus which means that they are gyarus that are in school and mostly base there outfit on their school uniforms. The lack in accessories, such as tied hair, bows, bleached hair (gyarus can also have other color hair this is an optional choice), scarfs, bracelets, hair pins and more. So in the end these two don’t really look like gyaru (hope this helped)

These are extreme styles of gyaru that like to have dark skin, usually bright colourful hair and opt for a beach/tropical style. This is done to rebel against the common beauty standards in Japan and because it is a subculture, it is never done to imitate black women to make fun of them.
