Hey, Natalie! I’m just looking over your new series. I really appreciate the short videos that focus on specific topics and stitches. This makes for an excellent reference library! I always enjoy watching your creativity in quilting, and now in embroidery! 🪡 Thank you, and stay well!
This is so exciting to see MSQC Embroidery. I do enjoy embroidery and look forward to these tutorials. Thank you Natalie for taking this on... take care and blessings to y'all.
Hi, Natalie! I’ve been away from MSQC for a while and I’m excited to see you are teaching embroidery. I searched for wagon wheel stitch and this video popped up first. I will definitely check out your Embroidery 101 series.
Hey Nat……I’m getting back into this art form but need a refresher……what types of thread, etc..needle size….. Back to the basics, love your teaching method, I’d for gotten a lot of these stitches……. Love it …..thanks Nat.
I'm just getting started on embroidery (cross stitched for years but only embroidery was back in home ec classes over 40 years ago. Thanks for starting this new venture to share with us Natalie!
Thank you for the embroidery instruction. A couple of suggestions: Please use thread with a more pronounced color contrast against the white background. Also, please use a close up view for all of the stitching that you do. Thank you!
Natalie! I'm currently learning to embroidery with your super cool quilt kit, Ingrid's Wildflowers. I've made 5 or 6 practice pieces! Please, please make more videos! I would love some bees, butterflies and maybe even ants to add to the wildflowers! Help us out! These videos are great!
It seemed as if the ending was missing? How do you finish? Also the blue flower did not look like the flowers she showed us on the finished products. She said to make sure the threads don't overlap yet those other flowers definitely had some loft to them. How do you go about creating the ones you showed us? Thank you, I love what y'all give to us in all of your tutorials!
She might have used a bulkier thread in the ones that don't lay flat. I've done this stitch with ribbon embroidery and you don't want it flat. Just make the stitch the way you like it. 😊
Wow! So cool, I learned embroidery a long time ago. I'm glad you are bringing it back to life. For people that don't know how to do it. I love that wagon wheel stitch. I have not seen that before, it's really awesome. I have to ask is that Jenny playing the background guitar music? It is so pleasant to listen to. Love it!!! Thanks for all the videos that you all share with us. ❤
my mom and grandma and great grandma did all the things quilt ,crochet, knit, cross stitch, crewel work candlewicking embroidery. i have decided 2025 is the year for me to learn embroidery mom had just started teaching me when she got sick and passed and i just couldnt pick it up what she was teaching me is still in the bag hanging in my closet time to get it out and learn this craft.
When I watched earlier there was 3 free patterns. I went to download them but I can’t find them now. Would you please direct me to them. Love this channel. Glad you started it.
Love that you are doing this Natalie. I have a question. Are there different transfers you can get for designs? I want to do a Jean quilt with embroidered denim squares. I can't draw for nothing! ??
Hello Natalie , firstly I really am happy to see you doing a lil thing that you enjoy and that your bringing it to us. Secondly, the music was inviting not overwhelming. I will admit if this were a classroom I'd have my Hand up like Horshack,, oo oo oo! With questions galore. But a total newbie has need for all the detes. Lol the type of knots, how did u achieve the flower look as I understand you keel it flat as you go red n red. Did you just keep piling in a circle or star to skip ..umm not sure . Darn ido not in anyway want to sound as though you did not do a lovely show. Maybe forgive me if I'm wrong. Maybe it a time factor. I'm not sure but it would be fabulous if you could share some of the detes a never embroidered person would need. Until I'm as seasoned as someone like yourself I'm afraid I need to see all the nuances/things. Sure love to join in a project after learning the basics Again, I really enjoyed the new series & Thank You for your time and knowledge. Blessings from California Kathleen 🥰 (I found I needed more info on the basics. I'm really hoping Natalie can get more detailed for newbie like myself. )
I think you have left a few things out. Like how to finish on the back how long to cut the thread and the numerous threads and ribbons that can be used.
What do you do when you are finished? Do you leave the end in front or tie a knot to the back? I am assume you just tie a knot in the back but it looks a little sloppy. Maybe I am doing it wrong. Thank you for the help!
Did I miss something?😧Like getting started? The kit was linked in the description, but no other link to explain getting started. The kind of needle? The kind of thread? The length of thread? Knotting the thread? How to use the hoop? Ending the flower? 🤷🏼♀️ I really want to do this. I don’t know where to begin?
@@jewelrey1699 Yes, but everything in the starter kit is not in the video -- which would have been helpful. Plus, several of the end-result embroidery designs in the videos do not reflect the embroidery in the kit. This is not a complaint, just a commentary. I adore Natalie, and I love this new idea for a series, but these videos are not up to *her usual standards.
@user-qh5tf8yd2y this isn't the first video. She made a bunch and they do talk about the needles and hoops. I know your comments were a couple of months ago and I hope you got your answers. I'm so glad they started these, I really loved doing embroidery when I was a child. Now I love quilting but I'm thinking this would be fun when I can't quit
WT heck?!?!? Why do people ask such rude questions??? First it was her weight and now it's the lack of a wedding ring. Maybe she didn't want her ring to be the focus of the video? Do you think? But maybe it's just none of your business.
With all the weight loss she is probably waiting to get it resized, I know I had to wait for it to even out. I only wanted to resize once. Great videos!!!
Really Really cute - 🥰 Thank you, Karen Sorenson

Loving this 101 series. Thankyou Natalie, hugs, Chel 🌸
Natalie thank you for helping me remember how much I enjoyed doing embroidery. Learning some new stitches and enjoying the journey.
So excited! When I tried to pick up embroidery several years ago, there weren't that many videos. ❤ MSQC!
I’ve been embroidering for 60+ years and am going to love this channel. Thank you MSQC and Natalie.
I have seen this stitch done before but I have never done it myself. I am ready to change that. Thanks Natalie.
Thanks for this new series!! I am tired of faking all of my stitches 😂 now i can learn the actual method!

Enjoy friend!
I'm a huge fan of these embroidery videos. I've wanted to learn hand embroidery forever and I'm finally doing it!
That hat is so beautiful ❤️
Thanks Natalie, I will be checking this out, after so many years, it's nice to see the stitches being taught again.
oh my goodness Nat, this series is going to be just what i need to embrace the hand art of embroidery. Thank you!!

I'm just getting started on embroidery (cross stitched for years but only embroidery was back in home ec classes over 40 years ago. Thanks for starting this new venture to share with us Natalie!
Thank you Natalie! I didn’t learn the wagon wheel stitch when I was younger. I’ll look into Embroidery 101.
Thank you for the embroidery instruction. A couple of suggestions: Please use thread with a more pronounced color contrast against the white background. Also, please use a close up view for all of the stitching that you do. Thank you!
Thank you Natalie! Love your tutorial. I love hand work and this is going to help me embellish some of my projects. Thank you again.
Loving this. So peaceful and therapeutic. Thanks Natalie 💜
Thank you so much for this tutorial!😊
Really excited about this
Thank you Natalie, it will be fun learning to add embroidery to items.

I was wondering all that also.

Oh my, if you leave a little spokes sticking out it could be a sun with rays.
Much needed series😊

Thanks your tutorial very helpful
Thank You Natalie for the tutorial. I wish you had explained the kits.
It’s called “Learn Embroidery Stitch by Stitch with Missouri Star”. I found it in their web page. I didn’t know there had it. It’s a complete kit.
Both Natalie and Misty joined Jenny on Tuesday Newsday and she discussed the embroidery kit.
Natalie is there a cheat sheet like you are using for us to practice on. Question❤❤❤❤
Do you put the French knots in first or after you complete the wagon wheel? Love your ideas.
How many strands are you working with?
When I watched earlier there was 3 free patterns. I went to download them but I can’t find them now. Would you please direct me to them. Love this channel. Glad you started it.
You can lead with the needle eye to avoid spliting your threads!

Will you show us how to tie off ending the Wagon Wheel Stitch
When I used DMC embroidery thread I used 2 strands. How many strands should I use with the pearl cotton in my kit?
The video on the threads, I believe she said you don't split the pearl cotton.
Will you have a tutorial on how to finish the project and backing 😢
Please tell how many strands you use and floss or pearl cotton
How did you end? Knot thread on back?
It's easier if you use the eye if the needle instead if the point
Did I miss something?😧Like getting started? The kit was linked in the description, but no other link to explain getting started. The kind of needle? The kind of thread? The length of thread? I agree. And every embroidery video is like this. :/
I believe these tutorials accompany the starter kit sold at MSQC. Everything in the video is what is in the starter kit.

Where's Natalie's wedding ring?? Just wondering.
