I tried doing it many time without seeing any videos and I was unsuccessful everytime but after seeing your video everything changed. I was able to do it in just 20 minutes! ! It was very easy to understand and remember the steps. A very big thankyou to you ❤❤
I really love this stitch because it's so simple, but it comes out really pretty. I used it already to make a little rose-shaped belly button for a plushie I was repairing and now I'm gonna use it to embroider some roses for my coworker on her birthday. I'm sure she'll love it
Beautiful and easy to understand video. Thank you for sharing. I'm a newbie from years back and i recently picked it up again. I had no idea how to do this. I do now!! Thanks.
I watched many videos and still could not do it... This is perfect video and i made it really cute rose s on my beret hat...Thank u so much new subscriber here💙💙💙
Thanks you so much for this video!!! I saw another tutorial and the didn’t explain how to do it well so I didn’t do the over and under step and now it looks weird 😂😂😂❤❤❤
There can be two reasons. I am not sure which one it is. 1. You have pulled the needle too light when weaving. Or 2. You have not secured the thread with a knot from the back of the fabric. Hope my answer will help you. Happy stitching ❤❤
- dont pull too tight. So that it will ruin the previous rounds of weaving. Always keep up with shape of the previous weaving. Always be gentle when pulling the thread. - dont pull too light. So that you will see the spoke lines through the weaving. - practice a few small roses. Eventually you will realize the amount of ideal tightness I hope this helps. Happy stitching ❤❤
Yes I did. I added an end knot to the previous thread, rethreaded the needle and restarted weaving. 🥰 How to add the end knot for embroidery tutorial is in ruclips.net/user/shorts13rOThAGXqI?si=FlWLYDQY1HX222Zr
Yes, it has an end knot. If not this flower will not be secured enough. Here is how I normally do the end/finishing knot ruclips.net/user/shorts13rOThAGXqI

@@CraftsbyGeesh what thread you are using, can you plz share name or links
@@hope-dp7oy I am using stranded cotton embroidery thread. (I normally use the brand ''Anchor''. You can use DMC too) 🙂
THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤ .. Although I wanted to know how to knot it from under the fabric when the thread ended 😬 but I guess I can get that from my mom 😂
I am sorry about the late reply. Please follow below tutorial for end knot.🥰 ruclips.net/user/shorts13rOThAGXqI?si=vJDfckoPURlZMLpc

I did the rose it came out beautiful, but it becomes undone fast. Am I doing something wrong?
There can be two reasons. I am not sure which one it is.
1. You have pulled the needle too light when weaving. Or
2. You have not secured the thread with a knot from the back of the fabric.
Hope my answer will help you. Happy stitching ❤❤
Wow 😊

How tight do you pull? I seem to pull to tight or not tight enough
- dont pull too tight. So that it will ruin the previous rounds of weaving. Always keep up with shape of the previous weaving. Always be gentle when pulling the thread.
- dont pull too light. So that you will see the spoke lines through the weaving.
- practice a few small roses. Eventually you will realize the amount of ideal tightness
I hope this helps. Happy stitching ❤❤
Ma'am this is the easiest rose but I find bullion rose very tough 😘
Aww thank you so much ❤💓 please practice a few more roses. Eventually you will find it to do easy.
You used 6 strands of thread but it was doubled over the entire time? So essentially it was 12 total? I’m trying to understand.
Yes You are correct. For the weaving, I have used 12 strands 🥰
Thankyou❤

What size needle do you use for 12 strands?
DMC #3 embroidery needle would do the work. ❤
@2:14, Did you rethread your needle?
Yes I did. I added an end knot to the previous thread, rethreaded the needle and restarted weaving. 🥰
How to add the end knot for embroidery tutorial is in ruclips.net/user/shorts13rOThAGXqI?si=FlWLYDQY1HX222Zr
how to tie the thread to the needle?
If you asked about starting knot you can check the below video. ruclips.net/video/_EEuQ4eDF8U/видео.htmlsi=5xMYCCpMtWzzyi_Q
For the finishing knot you can check the below video ruclips.net/user/shorts13rOThAGXqI?si=TyEdoGuLVyaaTgRm
what kind of needle do you use? I’ve never seen one like that.
It is an embroidery needle. ❤
@@CraftsbyGeesh it's got detailing on it though, all the embroidery needles I’ve ever seen have a smooth shaft
