Very inspiring! I took the time to slow down the video to be able to mimic your sequence and settings, but still couldn't quite reproduice your sound. I'm somewhat new to Volca bass and I hand't realized that the first sequence had been recorded separately and was being looped in the back. So I grabbed my loop pedal and finally was able to reproduce it. Thank you for the challenge!
Do not get fulled by the size and simplicity, this is one of my fav table synths. You can get much more than bass out of it, 6 octaves of saw/square. I like to process it through my Minilogue delay.
SAME. I kinda hate my volca bass but this makes me think it's not totally useless. I hate most of the sounds it makes. I think the bass sucks for actual short bass notes but it sounds great droning here. Wonderful performance
@@duckbrew I'm sorry for the late reply, I didn't realize you commented until today. To answer the question, I don't have mine anymore. My music took a new direction, and I now play the keyboards, a Korg Kronos to be exact and I'm getting a Kawai MP11SE in a week or two. I hope all is well.
Best demo I've seen so far. I was iffy about this volca... until now. Maybe the delay helped (monotron, prehaps?), but sounds really bad ass. And played like bass should be played. Love it.
Amazing recording skills. I thought recording live gear was easy until I tried myself. haha. It takes a whole lot of skill and effort to record something like this. keep up the good work :)
That Volca Bass is a self-sufficient perpetual mobile machines. Any voltage that comes out through the headphones jack supplies in it in power again and so on to infinity. Good job!
Great! I'm not understanding how you are doing it. I can only change the pitch for each oscillator. Is this correct? Are you only working with 3 different pitches?
Great video. This sounds like music that should be in a movie similar to stranger things. Thank you for sharing.
ChainLink011 yes VERY 80’s horror music😘😜🕺😈
I thought bladerunner

Producers use this all the time for TV shows it’s probably being used in your show.

Vibrating cam is exactly what is meant as "seeing sound". Awesome.

It looks like the audio output is feeding the power input. Infinite energy from the 80's!
I love when the bass frequencies shake the camera! XD
This is the first sound example that I would call actual music coming out of this thing. Thank you.

Can you record a tutorial to create this sound?
I'm impressed by the sound.
Regards
I just received mine yesterday and after hearing this I can't wait to get started. Great job!
It's 2020. You still love it?
@@duckbrew I think it stopt working by Danny Stoppenbach.

I love the way M7 shakes the crud out of the camera lens. So satisfying.
Amiga time! Breake beats, and Analogs sounds, from vinyls and tapes;D VHS. old school times! I love 90' And I sttill making old school beats.
1:03 I love the camera shake when the bass kicks in

Monotron delay works nice, a kaosspad (like 1 or mini) does it too. more fun than a pedal. Otherwise do it in your DAW
Not a Monotron, this sounds way cleaner. It's probably done in the DAW
@@OttosTheName yup, monotron delay is dirty as hell.
Просто улёт! Супер! Жаль, что быстро закончилась композиция! Очень красиво!
This was my most unused volca and I’m going to take it to work every day for a month now.
Awesome! Great performance that really shows the capabilities of the Volca Bass. Well done!
Shows the capabilities of the man performing!

Old School Dark Wave ❤️❤️❤️
Great sound! You just sold me on the volca bass.
Great video, and that without drum! volca bass is a monster, I use with an old analog ibanez stero chorus.
......mmmmm.....intro : Echoes,Pink Floyd...??.....inspiration????.....really good!!!
ha i was gonna say that
So beautiful.... waves of goosebumps. Excellent work.
Sorry I can't help myself. I'm going to make something like that as well :D That was inspirational!
It looks like you connected the headphones-out to the power output!
haha it does!
Power Loopback!!! Hidden function of Volcas...

I'm on YT for videos like this. Totally motivates me to buy one Volca Bass for myself right now. :D
Outstanding! Now I need one to keep my Volca FM company.
Very good video. Seems like the music from an 80s TV Series.
would love to see even small step by step. :D great work. i dont understand how you recorded so much sound on top of each other
Big sound from a small synth!
Wunderbaum! Remind me my teenage years and -80s movies and series.
this is how you get people to buy stuff! beautiful!
Korg should pay this guy because i am gonna buy me one. It will get along quite well with my MiniNova

Very Risky Business Tangerine Dream, excellent.
volca sample or beats would be amazing synced to this!
very good, listened to this like 3 times in a row now. it's legit stuck in my head.
Insane what this little thing can do
Fantastic!! I have to get one of these. I currently just have a Minilogue. Great Vid. The vibration was cool!!

Promethious B thanks a lot! I have a new video coming next month! You can if you put your mind to it 🙌🏻
Awesome sound! This video made me buy a Volca Bass immediately a few years back!
I dig how the bass is shaking the camera
It minds me echoes by pink floyd somehow. Nice!
Awesome analog retrovibe sounds!
Just what the FM needs 😋

This is fabulous! These synths are very capable... Well done!
Interesting, been thinking about picking up a used one to use with my old rx7 Yamaha for a interesting bottom line thanks for the artistry
this is incredible, it's great
With a little bit of tweaking could be a great intro to Clipping, Nothing Is Safe
I applauded at the end, anyone else?
nope. probably nobody else.
omg i can see your camera shake to the bass hahaha love it
ooooh nice ! Boards of canada brought me here ...
I just signed in to RUclips today, only to say: this is F*cking outstanding!!
That was awesome! Greetings from Russia.
cool…very cool!!!

absolutely brilliant !
Awesome! Mine will be here tomorrow! Yay.
Makes me want to watch Blade Runner, or something of that era and genre
Awesome early 80s "Stranger Things" type vibe here. I don't have one of these yet but I think I see that changing in the near future. Well done.
Uhhh ... that's cool ... even I dont like artificial soulless things. Powerful little thing ...
Love this retro sound!
That was Awesome 👏 👏
Can’t wait to get mine.
Clear early Vangelis!
Super!
Excellent! 👍🎹👏👌
Awesome just freaking awesome
Go Korg, the best
great job dude, very inspiring
Best thing with Volca Bass is that you can power it directly from the headphone output.
LOL I was thinking the same
Considering getting hold of one of these
Beautifully done 😀 thanks for sharing
superb demo mate
It's that sweet vintage sound just like they're using on Stranger Things :-)
Very Pink Floyd like, fabulous..!
Love It. You filmed this so well.
An ode to John Carpenter. Excellent!
Very nice
Its called the volca bass but I guess it makes some nice leads too
little box brings such joy :D
Wicked Bassline!!!!
Excellent.................. well done !
kick ass bro, I just bought a monologue and now i want volca bass hahahaha.
Really nice track! How did you record a long bass track. Was that with a loop pedal?
I'm late to the party, but that was awesome!
Good job man really enjoyed that
Amazing. I was JUST looking for this.
It sounds like a mix of Boards of Canada : Olson and Roygbiv.
That was super cool
