I feel like she may have some mental health issues, as most people do, and as you would when you go through some of the traumas she’s been through. HOWEVER, having mental health issues does not negate what she says though. She has been down-trodden in so many ways, it’s only natural that she take a no BS stance against the things that have impacted her life, and try and help others from suffering the same.

McGowan just has no filter. Which can be a very good thing but can also be a very bad thing. Not when it comes to her career. I don't think she cares about that at this very moment. I think she's pretty much just sat back looked at various things closely and said exactly what she felt like saying. I'm gonna have to read into this more its very confusing.

How ironic that one so concerned with ‘progression’ would be so regressive as to call others out for not conforming to their own values. Everyone woman can have a different interpretation of “what it means to be a woman” so to use those words without even comprehending its polarising semantics is going to do nothing but damage. Even if Jenner was due criticism, McGowen’s criticisms themselves have to remain consistent with her ideals should they be applied elsewhere, and if they are then they are immoral. Not to mention speaking out against Portman, perhaps she should also learn that actions can speak louder than words. Evidently she doesn’t already know this.
