+Jim the Emergency Fan 警消大頭粉 Thanks! Me too! It's already brought a rare Land Rover Discovery Police car responding, onscene twice, a rare MERIT Ambulance responding and onscene, two unmarked Ambulance officer's cars responding and onscene twice, unmarked Audi A6 Armed Response police car responding, British Red Cross responding twice and onscene, a new city to spot in - complete with two MAN Fire engines responding, several brand new South Western Ambulances with great lights, an unmarked Vauxhall Insignia responding after I just missed a *convoy of 6 unmarked police cars responding, and a BMW X5 Motorway Car* (Noooo!!! :( ), a BMW 3 series traffic driver training car being used by football officers, British Transport Police responding and onscene, a Scania P280 Rescue Fire Engine, an older Mercedes Sprinter Police van with rotators and as always - lots of my local Ambulances and Rapid Responders! And on my new channel of just general emergency vehicles - I've just got *another* video of the Jaguar XF Police car on lights and rear reds!
I used to work at the workshop for Somerset Fire. I remember they had Dodges with Perkins V8s and a bright yellow Chevrolet truck used for RTCs. Then it all went Mercedes. Incidentally Yeovil station rolled their new Mercedes after about month, cost around £115,000 at the time I believe. Great vid btw!
Seeing those Dennis appliances makes me wonder what went wrong and why we looked abroad for the trucks. Must have come down to money I guess. Same happened with ambulances.
+Camoflauge Koala Thanks! I thought everyone knew that? It's the country of rain! Rain rain rain! Rain and more rain :P Especially compared to Australia LOL
Well, let me tell you. The UK is a small, soon to be independent, nation geographically at the edge of the continent of Europe in the North Atlantic. And it rains. And it rains. And it rains. For 40 days, and 40 night, There aint no sun in our sight, Don't worry if it gives you a fright, It'll only wetter down your chocolate delight...

+jessey wooding I don't - I just walk past or wait at a fire station and they turn out. When you get good at the hobby, you can predict the times of when they're most likely to turn out. E.g. Worcester Fire Station is more likely to turnout on a Wednesday at lunchtime.
Why in UK you use only Whelen-Woodway products ? There are more companies like Federal Signal with better producst like sirens specially PA300Series, because all whelen sirens (hhs2000, and all 295 types includine Epsilon series) they are not very powerful with loud and clear sirens tones, the WAIL and YELP tones are very fast and unclear, too plastic tones...
Just got Areal Northamption Fire truck High Ladder Diecast And is Awesome iv got two Uk Firetrucks now and im colecting them sall each month iv got To Scanai Pump Ladder
Nice but eeewwwwwww not to be mean but uk fire truck look horrible I don't think thay would survive 3 min on us soil and they make American siren look bad but the vid is great
I miss the old two tone sirens. I hate the new yelp sirens! Great video
Thanks! I agree the two tones were good ;)
I notice in some areas they still use the two tones. I think it's more effective than the yelps.
Definitely!
Ok

All (most) of the rain we get comes from across the Atlantic with the Jetstream, from the USA.
Nice video! May you explane me please what kind of truck is the big Man at 2.08 and what's his job?

How do you find out when these pumps are turning out?
+jessey wooding I don't - I just walk past or wait at a fire station and they turn out.

Interesting
So do you know the firefighters at the stations?
I do at some stations yes! :)
7:04 what is that siren name?
It's some sort of Premier Hazard siren. Not sure what though! I've asked in a group and awaiting their reply, stay tuned.
Went to a car show today and saw a Dennis sabre pump! I freaked out but it should be quite common to you?
+Super Trini Gamer It is quite common for me! I see them often.
Yep.
They aré different names of trucks. Trucks. Wagons. Lorries.
I love you fire engines
The Scania's can fair go at some speed....
They sure can!
