These people fire men and women dont get the recognition they deserve these people have saved numerous of lives. Support your local fire station you never know when you need them. Thank you
I have tried to research this issue several times but no-one seems to know much it about and there seems to be no references to it. I think it is a legacy issue. Originally, typical common appliance fire engines in the late 1980s/1990s/early 2000s had amber lights along the side of the body for some reason. Obviously these were not part of the emergency lighting system. I think they were for use when on scene for some reason but in practice it seems that they were rarely used. From personal observations and watching older videos, it seems that when on scene the blue lights were left on, possibly turning off flashing headlights, or all lights were turned off as appropriate and the amber lights were not used. In the last 15 years or so it seems that installation conventions were changed so these amber lights were changed or fitted as blue but it appears that the switching systems were kept the same hence the lights on the side not being on with the other blue lights. More recently in the last 5 years or so it seems that they have finally made these lights come on with the other blue lights as can be seen on newer fire engines.
@@huh3721 The regulations did not used to allow blue lights on the sides of vehicles, some had them fitted but technically they were breaking the Law. The Amber lights are side markers that are required on all LGV's
Imagine driving a mini cooper to a fire. Sad! At least they’re going with Whelen sirens and using Wail and Yelp. Good move for their garbage and baby engines and trucks.
4:57 Very spooky ghost ambulance

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO👻👻👻
Great Job man!
I never understand why the blue lights on the sides of the old engines of LFB are always off?🤔
Thanks!
Yeah the old ones only had them turned on when on a scene, but this has changed now.
Sometimes they are on for added visibility or for displays/photo shoots, but usually they stay off.

It always makes me laught when people don't move out of the way, the drivers hold the right to move cars with the vehicle in extreme situations
