The Ark of the Covenant has been found. There was blood found on it and it was tested. The blood only had 23 chromosomes from the mother's side. There's plenty of evidence on the bottom of the Red Sea supporting the story of Moses parting the Red Sea and drowning all the Egyptians chasing the Israelites. You want more?

Which is the real one, if any? Also what would you say about how its logistically impossible for the ark to do anything it's claimed to have done? The Ark was never real and neither was the flood that it was a part of. If this worldwide flood did happen then why didn't the Chinese write about it or get wiped out during it? 2. The Ark of the Covenant has been found. No it hasn't. Even just a quick glance at Wikipedia shows that there's a list of possible locations but never was it recovered. If it was where are the pictures or its contents? Where is the research proving it comes from the right time period and isn't a fake. The exodus has also pretty solidly been debunked. If it did happen then where is the evidence of a massive amount of people moving from Egypt to Jerusalem? We would find remnants of campsites and old pottery but we don't. We find no grave sites and given it was over 40 years many people would have died but we don't find any of that either. We also don't find any evidence of these drowned Egyptians so where are they? To answer your question. I do want more. A LOT more. I live in the bibull belt of fucking Mississippi, was christian for 57 years, but deep inside always thought it was suspect, and only tell a few I'm not chritian anymore. After much research and realizing Christianity originated in the most evil place on earth, the roman empire, the roman catholic church was formed to control and steal from the gullible , stupid people of the time. The point of this was that the young man claimed to love God above all. Jesus was showing him that he in fact prioritized his wealth over God. This showed the young man that he actually did not keep the law as he claimed that he did. It was not a command to everyone, it was a directive to one man to highlight the need to let go of material wealth and put God first.

God is totally real. I have experienced Him and communicated with Him. I would suggest to anyone interested in finding out for themselves to seek God, so talk to Him, wait for Him, read the bible, open your hearts and let Him communicate with you. I have read it many times in fact and it is always amazing when Christans "forget " about bible versus or stories that talk about incest and NOTHING being wrong with it. If you will simply read it with an honest desire for God to reveal Himself to you, He will. You will always be able to find fault if that is what you are looking for, even in the Bible. The Bible is God's revelation of Himself to man, so read it with respect and awe, it's been around a lot longer than you and me and has survived much opposition and persecution. God doesn't owe you or me anything, and when we refuse to give Him the honor He deserves, He will let us go on in our delusions. Read Romans 1. We can't just walk into a King's court and start making demands, it doesn't work that way. I hope you will give Him an opportunity to show you just how awesome He is. He is amazingly forgiving and gracious to those who come to Him in humility.

Comments are interesting. 1) Are we supposed to take the bible literally or not? If we aren't supposed to take everything literally, what parts are purely metaphors and what parts are literal? How do we know? 2) If Jesus wanted things to be clear for everyone to get salvation, why didn't he just get to the point and say it? 3) If God wants everyone to be saved, why didn't he make the truth obvious? Why must you get the "Holy Spirit" first to be able to understand the bible? People can understand the words easily (unless they're written in vague parables) because it's a book. Anyone can read it. 4) What exactly is the context? How are we supposed to know? In this story there is a rich man who loved his money and materiel things more than God and Jesus told him that he really didn't love God because of it. I've never understood "Sell everything you have and give to the poor" sentence, it doesn't make any sence. If i'm rich and give everything I have to a poor guy, then he will be rich and I will be poor. So he couldn't go to heaven, I made him cannot go to heaven? And what if other rich people give me their money? I will be rich again and cannot go to heaven. Damn, I have to sell everything again otherwise I cannot go to heaven... Well, Jesus would have teached consistently the same lessons about how to get into heaven, maybe, if he ever existed, he even did. The problem is, the gospels are neither written by Jesus, nor by someone who ever listened to the man, nor by someone who ever talked to someone who ever listened to the man, nor by someone who ever talked to someone who ever talked to someone who ever listened to the man...... The earliest books, or better letters, that are part of the NT, are from Paul, who readily admits that he never saw Jesus, never heard Jesus talk, never met someone who saw or heard Jesus, all he ever did was having a revelation after falling off his horse. A bright light talking to him in his head. So his complete god experience was nothing but a severe concussion. In his letters he then told anybody what the concussion hallucinations thought him. The other gospels Mark, Matt, Luke and John have been written between 85 and 130 AD, so 50 years to 100 years after the supposed death of Jesus. There have been no documents about his teachings, just like today, there have been no contemporary scriptures, just like today, there have certainly been no eye witnesses, so litterally everything the Jesus-figure in those novels says is made up by the anonymous authors of this novels. That´s the reason, the true reason, why Jesus cannot talk consistent. If you would hand a very vague described sketch of a story to 4 different authors and have them write a book from it, then compare those 4 books, you would find exactly the same problems in them, contradictions everywhere. Anyhow, the church didn´t feel an urge to fix this problem, as the bible only existed in latin and only church-persons and the rich and powerful were able to speak and understand latin. Church majors have been recruited from this rich and powerful families, so only those who would have had to lose the most, knew about the problems in the bible, if they cared enough to even read the damn thing. So why fix something nobody was aware of? Problems started with Martin Luther, the shmock translated the bible into german, from where it was translated to many other languages and suddenly everyone could see all the contradictions for himself, which also made it to late to fix those contradictions, so eventually Luther also began the age of apologetics, as the church was suddenly forced to explain the nonsense in it´s book. Everybody, well more or less of course, should know about these facts, yet still, they believe the bible holds the truth about Jesus. Normal persons, reasonable in everything they do in their normal lifes, turn into brainless, willfully ignorant believers the moment they enter church. If there were an author today, writinbg about the heroic deeds of one special soldier during D-day, who is dead for 70 years now, a soldier we didn´t know about before the book of this author was published, about whom no contemporary documents are to find, and the author doesn´t only claim to tell his "true" story, no he even claims to know what exactly this guy said during the events that are described in the book, would there be a single person on this planet believing that the story is true? My best guess is no. Yet still, 2.2 billion persons on this planet believe that the exactly same thing happened in the years between 85 and 130 AD and that these writing are the literal truth. God's choice of 'choose me or burn' isn't really a choice at all. I'd compare it to an abusive man who wants a woman to marry him. I’ve seen videos where the numbers which come up in the stories can be shown to link precisely to astronomical phenomena, which suggests that they were carefully chosen for just that purpose. We in the modern world are not as attuned to the movements of the Sun, Moon, and stars across the sky. But to the ancients, these daily occurrences and their gradual shift over the course of the year were filled with great meaning, wonderment, and mystery. The Christianity we know today is a result of tremendous dispute among early factions as to what the doctrine would be and what it should mean. In some cases important figures like Arius were murdered because they were decrying the changing and manipulation of text to satisfy political concerns. This became the tenor of Christianity for the next 1500 years in Europe where any objection to Church doctrine was a heresy and punishable by a gruesome death. Now the Protestants are following along the same line of spiritual bullying by plainly stating that if you don’t agree with them you will burn in Hell for eternity. That’s not God talking! This is the voice of an organization that makes a handsome living off of people’s fears and superstitions about what happens when we die. They are basically doubling down on their bet out of desperation to sway public sentiment by challenging science head on. It continues to be a losing battle for them.

For step 2: When jesus said sell everything he meant it as: You may as well Give UP all worldy possesions because you CANNOT take them into the kingdom of heaven and this makes PERFECT sense. When you DIE everything youve gained on this earth gets left behind. The point jesus was trying to make is: If your not willing to give up this earth RIGHT NOW at this momment then you are not ready to go to heaven. People who take up their kingdoms here and sell their souls wont have a place in the new world that God is building. As for step 3: Its more like saying that one has to COMPLETELY distance themselves from everything worldly (disconnect and be broken down entirely) in order to take this righteous walk along side of god. Honoring your mother and father has nothing to do with liking them or loving them, as much as it does SIMPLY respecting their wishes. If you LOVE your family and the world more than ANYTHING else then youve once again built your kingdom here on earth. You must break all attachments to the physical world in order to move on and ONLY somebody that is spiritually diciplined could comprehend this concept. Most people dont though because they commit sins of the flesh. Step 4: This is about Communion NOT cannibalism. The eating of bread and wine represents Jesus Blood and Body. This is done as a form of worship to show that we recognized jesus LITERAL sacrifice for us in the form of dying on the cross. We TAKE him into our bodies, become a part of him and accept that he shed his blood for us. This is the ULTIMATE way of bonding with Jesus. Step 5: Children are innocent and more pure in their way of thinking than a sinful experienced ADULT. That is what this means. Step 6: Baptism. Pretty obvious. Step 7: When you are taught something you should strive to be as good or better than you teachers are. The prior kings and people honored Gods wishes so Jesus is simply telling people to DO the same. To follow their examples. EVERYBODY is told to do something for a reason. Once again this is dicipline. If you take this same thing and apply it to something else, the concept would be NO different. Step 8; Understand Jesus sacrifice. The world was bathed in sin and he died to make sure that even if WE sin there is still a chance for us to get into heaven. All you have to do is believe in this and follow Jesus example and you WILL have everlasting life.

Peter B. Worshipping an imaginary, while demonstrably false proposed god figure is the greatest idolatry. The god proposed by Christianity does not exist because it would be contradictory. Just as there is no such thing as a married bachelor, there is no such thing as an omnipresent, yet non-spatial being, and omnipotence is a self-contradictory notion, since an omnipotent being could create another being which it cannot defeat, or cannot control. And whatever is self-contradictory, cannot exist, and whatever cannot exist, does not exist. So much about idolatry ;)

I am not a Roman Catholic. All the clergy in the RCC will end up in hell for their unbelief because they think they have the right to change God's Law and change the rules as they go every year. They also lead many of their followers into idolatry. Mary is is a good woman, but only a woman. Acts 10:25-26 Peter shows by example that no man should accept worship. The HS is the vicar of Christ not the pope in Rome. The pope is not the incarnation of the Christ, Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father not in Rome. Yahweh is the Holy Father Matthew 23:9
Jesus intention for these verses aren't to give people ways into Heaven through their own actions, but to show them where they have fallen and how we are all in need of grace. These verses need to be taken in context... not as some sort of blueprint. Jesus didn't come to heap upon people the expectations of the Jewish law.

You are absolutely one-hundred percent correct when you say that no one can get into heaven. That is the point of Christianity. If we want to stand before God we need to be holy, but the Law is impossible to keep because of sin and display a continuous propensity to do so, therefore we need an Advocate before God, which is Jesus. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the prophets. I have come to fulfill them." Matthew 5:17. When I say I believe in Jesus, I acknowledge that I cannot do what is necessary under my own power, that Jesus has fulfilled the Law for me and I ask that God accept His sacrifce in my stead. That is the understanding of John 3:16. You have actually made the case for Christianity.

+KLSeba Actualy I'm shocked at 2 Kings 6:29, I do not know the meaning beacause I haven't read other books in the Bible other than the New Testament and the Torah(The first five books), so I search the meaning of it and it is what it means: It means there was a famine and a seige going on and people were absolutely desperate. A starving woman said she was tricked into eating her own son and asked the king for justice. The king, in horror, blames the impossible situation on Elijah, who prophesied that things would get that bad. He was not making the connection that God was allowing things to deteriorate because of Israel's infidelity. 2 Kings 6:29 is not God's will, human disobeyed God because of famine. About other left verses which I think all from the Old Testament, it is because of human (Adam and Eve) disobedience, that is why God is harsh at THEIR TIME, but we, today must not observe that and the other laws, because Jesus already paid our sins (in the New Testament) so if we sin, we are not to be punish, but accept Jesus who already paid our sins. If you want to underatand Bible better, read Study Bible or Bible pastoral edition, its with explainations. Why does Jesus always say, "I tell you the truth"? That reminds me of someone always starting sentences with "Honestly" or appending them with "Believe me." Those people are normally lying, in my experience.
Although there are a lot of things that need to be sorted out in this video, I'd like to contribute one helpful understanding that non-believers lack when delving into the New Testament. This is about Jesus' response to the Pharisee and to the rich man. Throughout the gospel, Jesus never bluntly declares Himself the Messiah until the prophecy in Daniel (see Daniel 9:25) is fulfilled. Whenever He is asked, He replies, "Who do you say I am?". Jesus answered people according to who they said He was. Notice that both the Pharisee and the rich man addressed Him as "(good) Teacher". Thus, He gives them the response that a teacher or Pharisee would provide; to live by the law. It is when He speaks with authority over sin that He declares that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. In part, this is because with true belief in Christ, the Law becomes fulfilled; both by Him and by the behaviour of His followers after they accept Him as their Saviour. 'He didn't come to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it' (Matthew 5:17)

If you read the Bible, and follow it as The Word of God, then among your very first duties will be to execute children for disobedience: *Killing disobedient children commanded by God:* (in both Old Testament and New Testament) MATTHEW 15:4 "For instance, God says, 'Honor your father and mother,' and 'Anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death.'" Derek Williams before we get into a debate, post some sources. :) of "conflicting translations" you can't find one. and the denominations you mentioned are protestant, which is reformed from the catholic church because they were not happy with the church at the time aswell as many other reasons, so when these protestant churches were created, they reformed what they wanted to included, you see there is only one requirement into heaven, unless god chooses otherwise, the things these churches changed did not conflict with the requirements.
I wish you would follow John 3:3-8. If you could, you would understand a whole lot more of the Bible. If you are an honest, sincere person, read the book of John and ask the Lord to reveal himself to you. If you will, take the time and be sincere about it. If you don't feel any differently about it after you have finished the book of John then it hasn't cost you anything but some of your time. Read it from the King James version if you will. The only person that gets into heaven is a homeless person with no possessions who honors their father and mother's memory yet hates them and hates their siblings, follows a hippie around named Jesus and only eats human flesh and drinks human blood while acting like a child and an adult at the same time, and never works on Saturday. A question for religios people.... Why would i want to even enter Heaven? Do i want to spent eternity with no pain and only happiness? Do i want to never eat, sleep, drink?(what's the point of all of these if you reached eternal life) Do i want to watch my family from the earth, for whole generations? He sees into men's hearts and knows their thoughts, desires, vices and intentions. He knows the secrets hidden in men's hearts and if needed applies the medicines required to cure them. Spiritual sicknesses require different Medicines and depending on the spiritual disease a man is suffering God will treat each man accordingly. It so happens that THIS rich man loved riches more than God. So when Jesus instructed the rich man to sell everything and follow Him, He knew that the man loved riches more than eternal life. This is why (and you left this out) the rich man left sad, for he had many possessions. He didn't leave sad because he was asked to sell everything, he left sad because his riches were more important to him than eternal life. Not all rich men are asked to sell everything, but this one was. Explore the example of the rich man with me for a moment. The rich man was face to face with God. He asked God what he must do to receive eternal life and God gave him an answer, an answer that would bring him closest to Him and he refused. If God instructed you to sell everything and follow Him, would you do it?

He created angels. God being the good God that He is creates creatures with free will. Even angels can oppose God’s commandments if they so desire. 1/3 of Gods created angels committed a particularly grievous sin. These rebellious angels grossly underestimated their creator’s power. With forethought they actively rebelled and forcefully tried to take control of heaven and remove God from His realm. To God this is an unforgivable sin. For the fallen angels this resulted in the immediate expulsion from heaven to earth where they are to roam until the final judgment. I have to note that this separation requires an abode (earth) for them to stay. If they were to remain in heaven they would have continued to try to influence other angels to leave God and would have tried to ransack heaven over and over. This is what happens to created beings when they willfully exchange their intended nature for that of another. They become spiritually diseased. Willful rebellion against God causes separation from God which in turn causes spiritual diseases. Likewise with mankind, God created Mankind with freewill. They were placed in the Garden of Eden where they conversed with their creator. Not much was asked of them but to tend to that garden. Oh…and they were not to eat of the fruit of a tree. Not a bad deal eh? God is good and He is an active God and wishes teach us what is right and wrong. Not eating of the fruit is good, and eating the fruit of the tree which they were commanded not to eat of was wrong. He explicitly told them that if they did eat they would die. Knowledge of this alone should have kept them away from that forbidden fruit. They ate and unlike the fallen angels we see that God conversed with Adam and Eve to give them the opportunity to ask for forgiveness. Instead they blamed God and each other and Satan. By not repenting they made the choice to follow their own rebellious wills which in turn resulted in willful separation from God. In essence Adam and Eve exchanged their birthright for some food and the promise to become gods. This trade resulted in separation from God, which in turn resulted in spiritual disease, which ended in the exchange of their true natures for one that was foreign to the one they were created. Like the demon angels Adam and Eve had to leave the garden, if they would have stayed, they would have trashed it and continued to rebel against God. Like the demons, Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden to the place of separation called earth. Here we are, you and I, and the rest of humanity mingling with the unseen fallen angels in this place called earth. This place can be awesome and it can be truly horrific. We are the offspring of Adam and Eve. We possess the same fallen nature that Adam and Eve had. Our nature is not the one that God intended us to have. We are victims of circumstance. It wasn’t God’s (nor ours) intention that we be here. We can squarely put the blame of original sin on Adam Eve’s shoulders. But I feel God has taken a really bad situation and has turned it into something that works to our advantage. Adam and Eve walked in the Garden with God, conversed with Him and saw Him, even with all of these blessings they still rebelled and rejected Him. Although God chooses to remain invisible, He hasn’t left us. He possesses a way to communicate with us which is very intimate. In my opinion this form of communion is so deep and intimate it is as good as seeing Him face to face. All of mankind before they die will have met God in this fashion. It is entirely up to each individual whether or not they wish to pursue or abandon that visitation. At the last judgment, when we are standing before God, each man will have no defense when God reminds them of every visitation that they rejected. The fallen angel’s fates are set in stone, as for mankind there is a lifetime of acceptance or rejection of God. Acceptance of God and His commandments will bring a crown of life and the entrance into paradise. Rejection of God and His commandments will bring eternal sorrow in the place called hell. Those who rejected God chose separation and will rightly be rewarded with it.

The Ark of the Covenant has been found. There was blood found on it and it was tested. The blood only had 23 chromosomes from the mother's side. There's plenty of evidence on the bottom of the Red Sea supporting the story of Moses parting the Red Sea and drowning all the Egyptians chasing the Israelites. You want more?

1. Noah's Ark has been found so many different times in so many different places. Which is the real one, if any? Also what would you say about how its logistically impossible for the ark to do anything it's claimed to have done? The Ark was never real and neither was the flood that it was a part of. If this worldwide flood did happen then why didn't the Chinese write about it or get wiped out during it?
2. The Ark of the Covenant has been found. No it hasn't. Even just a quick glance at Wikipedia shows that there's a list of possible locations but never was it recovered. If it was where are the pictures or its contents? Where is the research proving it comes from the right time period and isn't a fake. We don't need another shroud of Turin that gets studied and found to have been fabricated hundreds of years after its supposed significance.
3. The Exodus. The exodus has also pretty solidly been debunked. If it did happen then where is the evidence of a massive amount of people moving from Egypt to Jerusalem? We would find remnants of campsites and old pottery but we don't. We find no grave sites and given it was over 40 years many people would have died but we don't find any of that either. We also don't find any evidence of these drowned Egyptians so where are they?

The point of this was that the young man claimed to love God above all. Jesus was showing him that he in fact prioritized his wealth over God. This showed the young man that he actually did not keep the law as he claimed that he did. It was not a command to everyone, it was a directive to one man to highlight the need to let go of material wealth and put God first.

1) Are we supposed to take the bible literally or not? If we aren't supposed to take everything literally, what parts are purely metaphors and what parts are literal? How do we know?
2) If Jesus wanted things to be clear for everyone to get salvation, why didn't he just get to the point and say it?

Well, Jesus would have teached consistently the same lessons about how to get into heaven, maybe, if he ever existed, he even did. The problem is, the gospels are neither written by Jesus, nor by someone who ever listened to the man, nor by someone who ever talked to someone who ever listened to the man, nor by someone who ever talked to someone who ever talked to someone who ever listened to the man......
The earliest books, or better letters, that are part of the NT, are from Paul, who readily admits that he never saw Jesus, never heard Jesus talk, never met someone who saw or heard Jesus, all he ever did was having a revelation after falling off his horse. A bright light talking to him in his head. So his complete god experience was nothing but a severe concussion. In his letters he then told anybody what the concussion hallucinations thought him.
The other gospels Mark, Matt, Luke and John have been written between 85 and 130 AD, so 50 years to 100 years after the supposed death of Jesus. There have been no documents about his teachings, just like today, there have been no contemporary scriptures, just like today, there have certainly been no eye witnesses, so litterally everything the Jesus-figure in those novels says is made up by the anonymous authors of this novels.
That´s the reason, the true reason, why Jesus cannot talk consistent.
If you would hand a very vague described sketch of a story to 4 different authors and have them write a book from it, then compare those 4 books, you would find exactly the same problems in them, contradictions everywhere.
Anyhow, the church didn´t feel an urge to fix this problem, as the bible only existed in latin and only church-persons and the rich and powerful were able to speak and understand latin. Church majors have been recruited from this rich and powerful families, so only those who would have had to lose the most, knew about the problems in the bible, if they cared enough to even read the damn thing. So why fix something nobody was aware of?
Problems started with Martin Luther, the shmock translated the bible into german, from where it was translated to many other languages and suddenly everyone could see all the contradictions for himself, which also made it to late to fix those contradictions, so eventually Luther also began the age of apologetics, as the church was suddenly forced to explain the nonsense in it´s book.
Everybody, well more or less of course, should know about these facts, yet still, they believe the bible holds the truth about Jesus. Normal persons, reasonable in everything they do in their normal lifes, turn into brainless, willfully ignorant believers the moment they enter church.
If there were an author today, writinbg about the heroic deeds of one special soldier during D-day, who is dead for 70 years now, a soldier we didn´t know about before the book of this author was published, about whom no contemporary documents are to find, and the author doesn´t only claim to tell his "true" story, no he even claims to know what exactly this guy said during the events that are described in the book, would there be a single person on this planet believing that the story is true? My best guess is no.
Yet still, 2.2 billion persons on this planet believe that the exactly same thing happened in the years between 85 and 130 AD and that these writing are the literal truth.

Now the Protestants are following along the same line of spiritual bullying by plainly stating that if you don’t agree with them you will burn in Hell for eternity. That’s not God talking! This is the voice of an organization that makes a handsome living off of people’s fears and superstitions about what happens when we die. For step 2: When jesus said sell everything he meant it as: You may as well Give UP all worldy possesions because you CANNOT take them into the kingdom of heaven and this makes PERFECT sense. When you DIE everything youve gained on this earth gets left behind. The point jesus was trying to make is: If your not willing to give up this earth RIGHT NOW at this momment then you are not ready to go to heaven. People who take up their kingdoms here and sell their souls wont have a place in the new world that God is building.
As for step 3: Its more like saying that one has to COMPLETELY distance themselves from everything worldly (disconnect and be broken down entirely) in order to take this righteous walk along side of god. Honoring your mother and father has nothing to do with liking them or loving them, as much as it does SIMPLY respecting their wishes. If you LOVE your family and the world more than ANYTHING else then youve once again built your kingdom here on earth. You must break all attachments to the physical world in order to move on and ONLY somebody that is spiritually diciplined could comprehend this concept. Most people dont though because they commit sins of the flesh.
Step 4: This is about Communion NOT cannibalism. The eating of bread and wine represents Jesus Blood and Body. This is done as a form of worship to show that we recognized jesus LITERAL sacrifice for us in the form of dying on the cross. We TAKE him into our bodies, become a part of him and accept that he shed his blood for us. This is the ULTIMATE way of bonding with Jesus.
Step 5: Children are innocent and more pure in their way of thinking than a sinful experienced ADULT. That is what this means.
Step 6: Baptism. Pretty obvious.
Step 7: When you are taught something you should strive to be as good or better than you teachers are. The prior kings and people honored Gods wishes so Jesus is simply telling people to DO the same. To follow their examples. EVERYBODY is told to do something for a reason. Once again this is dicipline. If you take this same thing and apply it to something else, the concept would be NO different.
Step 8; Understand Jesus sacrifice. The world was bathed in sin and he died to make sure that even if WE sin there is still a chance for us to get into heaven. All you have to do is believe in this and follow Jesus example and you WILL have everlasting life.

4.At the last supper Jesus and the 12 disciples ate bread and wine which are symbolic of the flesh and blood.
5.Trust and Obey God as little children. God's word the Bible gives excellent council.

The god proposed by Christianity does not exist because it would be contradictory. Just as there is no such thing as a married bachelor, there is no such thing as an omnipresent, yet non-spatial being, and omnipotence is a self-contradictory notion, since an omnipotent being could create another being which it cannot defeat, or cannot control.
And whatever is self-contradictory, cannot exist, and whatever cannot exist, does not exist. So much about idolatry ;)

I am not a Roman Catholic. All the clergy in the RCC will end up in hell for their unbelief because they think they have the right to change God's Law and change the rules as they go every year. Jesus intention for these verses aren't to give people ways into Heaven through their own actions, but to show them where they have fallen and how we are all in need of grace. These verses need to be taken in context... not as some sort of blueprint.

You are absolutely one-hundred percent correct when you say that no one can get into heaven. That is the point of Christianity. If we want to stand before God we need to be holy, but the Law is impossible to keep because of sin and display a continuous propensity to do so, therefore we need an Advocate before God, which is Jesus. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the prophets. I have come to fulfill them." Matthew 5:17. When I say I believe in Jesus, I acknowledge that I cannot do what is necessary under my own power, that Jesus has fulfilled the Law for me and I ask that God accept His sacrifce in my stead. That is the understanding of John 3:16. You have actually made the case for Christianity.

Talk about a zero-tolerance policy for bad behavior. On the bright side, your kids will be much better behaved. On the not-so-bright side, a grocery store temper tantrum could result in a death sentence.

+KLSeba Actualy I'm shocked at 2 Kings 6:29, I do not know the meaning beacause I haven't read other books in the Bible other than the New Testament and the Torah(The first five books), so I search the meaning of it and it is what it means:
It means there was a famine and a seige going on and people were absolutely desperate. A starving woman said she was tricked into eating her own son and asked the king for justice. The king, in horror, blames the impossible situation on Elijah, who prophesied that things would get that bad. He was not making the connection that God was allowing things to deteriorate because of Israel's infidelity.
2 Kings 6:29 is not God's will, human disobeyed God because of famine.
About other left verses which I think all from the Old Testament, it is because of human (Adam and Eve) disobedience, that is why God is harsh at THEIR TIME, but we, today must not observe that and the other laws, because Jesus already paid our sins (in the New Testament) so if we sin, we are not to be punish, but accept Jesus who already paid our sins.

Although there are a lot of things that need to be sorted out in this video, I'd like to contribute one helpful understanding that non-believers lack when delving into the New Testament. This is about Jesus' response to the Pharisee and to the rich man. Throughout the gospel, Jesus never bluntly declares Himself the Messiah until the prophecy in Daniel (see Daniel 9:25) is fulfilled. Whenever He is asked, He replies, "Who do you say I am?". Jesus answered people according to who they said He was. Notice that both the Pharisee and the rich man addressed Him as "(good) Teacher". Thus, He gives them the response that a teacher or Pharisee would provide; to live by the law. It is when He speaks with authority over sin that He declares that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. In part, this is because with true belief in Christ, the Law becomes fulfilled; both by Him and by the behaviour of His followers after they accept Him as their Saviour. 'He didn't come to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it' (Matthew 5:17)

Derek Williams before we get into a debate, post some sources. :) of "conflicting translations" you can't find one. and the denominations you mentioned are protestant, which is reformed from the catholic church because they were not happy with the church at the time aswell as many other reasons, so when these protestant churches were created, they reformed what they wanted to included, you see there is only one requirement into heaven, unless god chooses otherwise, the things these churches changed did not conflict with the requirements.

If you are an honest, sincere person, read the book of John and ask the Lord to reveal himself to you. If you will, take the time and be sincere about it. Step 2: The rich man asked Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus being God knows His creation better than anyone. He sees into men's hearts and knows their thoughts, desires, vices and intentions. He knows the secrets hidden in men's hearts and if needed applies the medicines required to cure them. Spiritual sicknesses require different Medicines and depending on the spiritual disease a man is suffering God will treat each man accordingly. It so happens that THIS rich man loved riches more than God.
So when Jesus instructed the rich man to sell everything and follow Him, He knew that the man loved riches more than eternal life. This is why (and you left this out) the rich man left sad, for he had many possessions. He didn't leave sad because he was asked to sell everything, he left sad because his riches were more important to him than eternal life. Not all rich men are asked to sell everything, but this one was.
Explore the example of the rich man with me for a moment. The rich man was face to face with God. He asked God what he must do to receive eternal life and God gave him an answer, an answer that would bring him closest to Him and he refused.

God didn’t create demons. He created angels. God being the good God that He is creates creatures with free will. Even angels can oppose God’s commandments if they so desire. 1/3 of Gods created angels committed a particularly grievous sin. These rebellious angels grossly underestimated their creator’s power. With forethought they actively rebelled and forcefully tried to take control of heaven and remove God from His realm. To God this is an unforgivable sin. For the fallen angels this resulted in the immediate expulsion from heaven to earth where they are to roam until the final judgment. I have to note that this separation requires an abode (earth) for them to stay. If they were to remain in heaven they would have continued to try to influence other angels to leave God and would have tried to ransack heaven over and over. They are vicious, arrogant creatures and full of hate. They no longer have the beautiful form they were created with and are hideous looking creatures. This is what happens to created beings when they willfully exchange their intended nature for that of another. They become spiritually diseased. Willful rebellion against God causes separation from God which in turn causes spiritual diseases.
Likewise with mankind, God created Mankind with freewill. They were placed in the Garden of Eden where they conversed with their creator. Not much was asked of them but to tend to that garden. Oh…and they were not to eat of the fruit of a tree. Not a bad deal eh? God is good and He is an active God and wishes teach us what is right and wrong. Not eating of the fruit is good, and eating the fruit of the tree which they were commanded not to eat of was wrong. He explicitly told them that if they did eat they would die. Knowledge of this alone should have kept them away from that forbidden fruit. They ate and unlike the fallen angels we see that God conversed with Adam and Eve to give them the opportunity to ask for forgiveness. Instead they blamed God and each other and Satan. By not repenting they made the choice to follow their own rebellious wills which in turn resulted in willful separation from God. In essence Adam and Eve exchanged their birthright for some food and the promise to become gods. This trade resulted in separation from God, which in turn resulted in spiritual disease, which ended in the exchange of their true natures for one that was foreign to the one they were created. Like the demon angels Adam and Eve had to leave the garden, if they would have stayed, they would have trashed it and continued to rebel against God. Like the demons, Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden to the place of separation called earth.
Here we are, you and I, and the rest of humanity mingling with the unseen fallen angels in this place called earth. This place can be awesome and it can be truly horrific. We are the offspring of Adam and Eve. We possess the same fallen nature that Adam and Eve had. Our nature is not the one that God intended us to have. We are victims of circumstance. It wasn’t God’s (nor ours) intention that we be here. We can squarely put the blame of original sin on Adam Eve’s shoulders.
But I feel God has taken a really bad situation and has turned it into something that works to our advantage. Adam and Eve walked in the Garden with God, conversed with Him and saw Him, even with all of these blessings they still rebelled and rejected Him. Although God chooses to remain invisible, He hasn’t left us. He possesses a way to communicate with us which is very intimate. In my opinion this form of communion is so deep and intimate it is as good as seeing Him face to face. All of mankind before they die will have met God in this fashion. It is entirely up to each individual whether or not they wish to pursue or abandon that visitation.
At the last judgment, when we are standing before God, each man will have no defense when God reminds them of every visitation that they rejected. The fallen angel’s fates are set in stone, as for mankind there is a lifetime of acceptance or rejection of God. Acceptance of God and His commandments will bring a crown of life and the entrance into paradise. Rejection of God and His commandments will bring eternal sorrow in the place called hell. Those who rejected God chose separation and will rightly be rewarded with it.

The math itself makes it impossible. You need to sell all your stuff... but every time a person is selling, another is buying, that means it's a mathematical impossibility *for everyone* to enter Heaven.

Not for Christian reasons, I did sell everything including my fully paid for 4-bedroom house. I gave the money to help with the famine in Africa. You can't sell everything. You need some clothes. You need some money for food and rent. Taking the bible literally I did not pass step 2. But then I don't know of anyone who did.

I can see the thought that went into this video was "Let's take everything in the Bible that Jesus says that looks controversial by itself without context or explanation, and put it into a video."

This statement is true. Unless your righteousness surpasses the Pharisees, you won't be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. BUT that's the point. You CAN'T get to heaven on your own. Thus, Christ's redemption and cleansing of you.
