- Welcome to Confabulation! This is a horror game that mixes I'm on Observation Duty with The Mortuary Assistant type atmosphere and jumpscares. Which literally sounds like the perfect game for me. Those are both some of my all time favorite horror games, so let's see what this one has in store! ENJOY!

If you wanna be technical its inverted pentagram, not pentacle since its a drawing, not a a talisman... also has baphomet scribed inside of it and baphomet isnt part of wiccan oryginal "tradidtion".
Altho that might've changed - as it is with most systems created to scam people - they mix and match anything that seems like it'd sell ^^
At 58:04, a demon appeared on the stair railing as you took a picture of the moved plant, and neither you nor chat noticed it. Scared the crap out of me, though lol

the candle idea is pretty interesting, i’ve always thought that there should be a game just like this, plus the lore behind the game name is pretty nice.
husband has confabulation, and sees things that aren’t really there. wife is tired of trying to help him, and takes their daughter on a trip and ends up dead. though it’s sad, these types of games fascinate me.
So, I think he had confabulation in real life. But I'm under the impression this game is actually him in hell, forced to relive the events that led to his suicide. Kinda like ground hog day, hence why he wakes back up on the couch in the end. And I'm guessing he was an atheist given the literature around the house and is even further reinforced when in the end game bathroom clip, one of the writings asks if he believes yet.
Now I’m a bit scared being an atheist myself, wait is this game just a weird way of telling people what is gonna happen to them if they don’t believe in god?? Oh shit lol

@@Andrew-pq3ljrespectfully, have you thought of possibly becoming agnostic? Thats basically the belief there is a higher power, but accpeting that you dont know its exact form/identity and thus dont give a specific ritual/habit/etc to it. Its "i think there is something, but dont know what it is" basically

This game is actually genius. It forces you to always go around the house. Even in the dark areas just so you don’t lose.

I just found you a few days ago! I'm surprised RUclips didn't push you're stuff to me sooner considering about one third of what I watch is horror gaming you tubers. A lot of the creators I've been watching for a long time seem to have swapped to the more stylized horror games. And while I love a more stylized horror experience and still love those creators content a lot it's so nice to see someone playing these types of games again. I like your content a lot and your energy is so fun and refreshing! It's also fun to find a new creator to add to the list
The incredibly dramatic sound of the breaker going out is the thing I didn't know I needed in Phasmo until now.
I don't think I've seen Insym jump this much in a while! Loving this so far!

Every observation duty game just speaks to you.
I first saw this game from another RUclipsr and immediately thought of you. Really enjoyed watching you play it too! I've finished a few games myself, but only on normal. I'd love to beat it on hard, or watch you beat it on hard, and see how it's different! There are also achievements for beating it on each difficulty without ever dealing with the candles! I don't think I'll be trying that for a while though lol.
This is the coolest observation duty style game I have ever seen! I love the first person twist to this genre. Fun watching as always Insym!

This is one of the best indie horror games i've seen in a while. I love how everything is so subtle, even the jumpscares. The developer(s) clearly did their homework on how to do a horror game right ❤

This game was honestly a pleasure to watch. It had the mechanics of observation duty that we love, but because of the puzzles and jumpscares and overall atmosphere, it managed to keep my attention way more than Observation ever has. This game felt like it was really made for you! Cant wait to see you tackle it in hard mode honestly!
I love how at 36:05 you went "my brother in Christ" to the demon after the jumpscare X'DD this is why I watch you man, I can't with horror games but you just make me laugh instead of being scared

I love these more subtle games, in this one you have jumpscares but most of the horror comes more from atmosphere. This game is also very polished and fun, the puzzle systems, the candle system, scares. The dev should be proud

This game spook the hell out of me last night and made me stayed up for 2 hours more after watching. Great game and amazing playthrough very fun to watch.
I was just thinking how I wish Observation Duty 3 had picked up more traction so we'd see other walkabout games in the genre and this little gem popped into my recommended on the same day. :D
I loved this typa Game, It doesnt need exagerated screams to scary u, just a demon or shadow stalking when you look back
Us - either created by a giant explosion or an omnipotent being - floating around on a giant space rock where we're either created or grew up from bacteria. But the idea of ghosts and such is somehow crazy.

I fell asleep while listening to this, and had a dream I was at a special event that was like a haunted house, but it was this and you’d have to run around a house getting jump scared and had to solve puzzles and shoot bad guys. 😂
Okay hear me out, observation duty parody. All the anomalies are either extra objects or objects being replaced with other objects. All of the anomalous objects are corn cobs. I'm on Cobservation Duty.

I didn't like the other obesrvation duty style games that you played where you have to watch via cameras, but I loved this one because it was FPS. Very solid game, really good puzzles overall, I would love to see the hard mode gameplay :)
Insym, you need to get with a developer that can create a horror game like this that Subs and whatnot trigger scary events.

This was an exercise in anxiety management for me because you never seemed to pay attention to where glitch sounds were actually coming from, and taking enough pictures. You know the amount of pictures is unlimited, so why not try every item in an area if you hear the sound but can(t find it? I know it takes time but like, if you'd rather lose sanity than be less conservative with the photos, your loss I guess?
Sometimes you also just seemed to completely ignore entire corners/sides of a room where something might have been wrong for nearly the entire game time, like the couch in the first floor hallway... That was really frustrating. lol

Have you figured out yet, that the lights for upstairs are at the bottom of the stairs?!! Or the different colored Birds correspond to the birds on the tree picture?!! And the birds have a connection to the bird briefcase.

Wait... without spoiling too much but isnt the "succumb" ending the better ending then cause it prevents the real ending kind of ?
I mean.. i had a feeling that it is going to be about what happened in the end and some kind of purgatory the moment that bathroom scene played... maybe there is multiple endings you can get on the harder difficulties ?
Just by time alone... every 3 minutes apear new anomaly and after 5-6 you die. So basicly you die after 15-18 minutes of not doing anomalies, so if you are quick and can complete everyting under 15 you can do no anomalies XD
