If the control + t part doesn’t work for anyone, to enable the node wrangler do this, click edit in top left, go down to preferences click that, then down to add ons click that, then go down to node wrangler and select the box, then try the control + t again
thank you so much!
Thanks 😊
thank you so much
thankssssssssssss
Yes!!!! Ducky you've taught me more than I've ever learnt in my degree. I'm so thankful for your content.
Thank you!
People do degrees in this?? I got a laptop, downloaded blender and followed step by step tutorials. I'm still not great but I'm enjoying learning!
@@marleypuppydogg 😂😂 no not per say. My degree is in Game Design, hence we do 3D animation. I found myself learning more online than in class.
I too make tutorials🙂
FYI if you shift+ctrl+t on the principled bsdf node you'll get a pop up where you can navigate to the folder you have your textures in, hit A to select all and let node wrangler set everything up, the only thing you have to change after is the displacement/bump setting. it makes everything so tidy too. ;)
you are an absolute legend!
Thank you for sharing this info! :)
You're welcome folks, it's such a huge time saver
Im having issue on eevee render engine. I pressed ctrl shift T and everything is set up automatic but i cant get the look of the rock displacement like bumps
To enable the Ctrl + T , activate the addon "Node Wrangler" and it will works
Thank you for the comment, had to google search activating the node wrangler, but at least I knew exactly what to search for.
Thank you again
ty bro
Thanks bruh
if you do ctrl+shift+t on the principled bsdf, you can select all the textures at once
finally the tutorial i wanted for SO long
Me too
We need a tutorial on how you made your intro...pls
Already done
@@shakh_3d There's a tutorial for Ducky3d's intro? I can't find it anywhere
Awesome tutorial as always! That HDRI was taken at the Kloppenheim Country Estate here in South Africa. Quite a few of these were taken here. "The Sky is on Fire" one is in my hometown, Cape Town.
Am in cpt too
that looks absolutely sick. you're like a fountain of knowledge, I can't tell you how grateful I am for sharing your skills! as soon as I get some disposable income, I'll be subscribing to your patreon!
how can i change the text? i click tab but it doesn´t edit
@@bernardofernandes8443 In Layout, top left, you change "Object Mode" to "Edit Mode" where you'll be able to change your text. In the tool space at the right, click the green "a" icon, to modify your text settings (font, volume, et cetera).
Unfortunately not well explained. Too many steps were skipped. :( But thanks for your work.
Thank you, great tutorial! I still have a lot to learn :)
If you want the origin points/UV at the same spot (14:22) you can switch back to median point and scale to zero again. This makes it easier, but make sure to select every letter separately.
Time Saver: After you scale the vertices in the UV editor to zero:
(1) Change the pivot from "individual origins" to "2D cursor." (2) With all the vertices selected press "Shift+S" and choose "Cursor to Selected." (3) Press "s" then "y" then press the zero key and hit enter. All the vertices will align vertically (Y-axis).(4) Continue the tutorial, evenly adjusting the distance between the vertices.
If you have a group of vertices that are spread on the X-axis, you can repeat steps 2-4 by selecting the group, press "Shift+S" and choose "Cursor to Selected" and then "s" then "x" then "zero" and "enter", and the group will be clustered. "g" and "x" to move them along the x-axis to adjust.
great video. i like that you're quick and don't mess around. it makes the tutorial much faster and leaves some of the learning up to the viewer by having to figure things out on their own. liked and subscribed.
Before unwrapping the Text. Go into edit, (select everything) hit M and Merge by distance. Now Unwrap. Now you should get 1 island per letter
Thank you! I’ll do that
@@TheDucky3D the mesh on converted text is so ugly. I hope it's something they fix one day but i don't remember it ever being any better.
Thank you for making these terrific instructionals. You are empowering so many people to learn!
Make sure that you change the color settings to Non-color Data in your roughness and displacement maps so that they'll look correct when rendering.
Im still not getting the displacement look on Eevee. Image Displacement to Displacement group to Material Output
@@SergioMedina.Blender if you want to do this on eevee, i'd probably subdivide the plane a good amount (like 8 or 16 times), add a subsurf modifier set to simple (you can keep the render value at to or go for 4 if your think your pc can handle it), then a displacement modifier with the texture you have selecteed. Play around wiht the scale value until it looks subtle
When you are adding the procedural image textures you can hit shift + t on the principled bsdf node and add all of them at once
Just thinking the same - about 3 mins of this video saved with one shortcut!
Bro it's not working don't know why.
faster than fast quicker than quick im pseed when you upload vids
node wrangler allows loading in all the texture maps at once with ctrl+shift+T
Bro 😭 please show us which key are you using 😭 in keyboard for shortcuts it really difficult to understand 🙏🙏 plssss
Use ctrl shift t with node wrangler, lets you import multiple image textures.
For people who want there letters to be transparent just mess with the alpha and emission strength
Hit i when hovering over adjustable things in each node, it'll automatically create a keyframe, rather than having to right click.
great work!
Im very bad at blender but when i do your tutorials it makes me look like im very good at blender. LMAO
Same here, people even ask me if can do some work for them for the money 🤣🤣🤣
Where is displacement method in 2.93 :c
Help me pls
lmk if you find it
This is for sure the best tutorial I've ever watched, on any topic, in my life, thanks man! People can perform good paid works with this kind of know how
Man, I am in way over my head. Time to watch more tutorials
Mr ducky plz use displaying keys in blender so only we can learn and how to do
Ducky you are my foundation in this blender world, almost all i know in the blender world comes from your tuts thanks a lot for all your the tuts and more to come and keep up the good work of educating must of us out there, you the best.
Really cool as you said in the beginning 👍🏻
*Nice video dude! Love this ♡*
Absolutely amazing job! Everything explained so well! Thank you so much for your tutorials!
i started learning blender when i saw your channel such great ideas you have
I really love this technique ❤️❤️
As someone who's never used blender before, you are very fast paced. I would suggest slowing it down just a little and explain things a little bit. Great content though, just my honest feedback. :)
Amazing I never seen a text like that
*" Ctrl + shift + T " to instatnly apply textures*
Ctrl + T adds the texture nodes that you need if you have "Node Wrangler" enabled in Edit>Preferences>Addons and you search and check Node Wrangler.
@@ChaBoiNeil ctrl + shift + t will automatically set up pbr textures for principle bsdf nodes for node wrangle
animeKING is back.💪💪💪
wow this one give me so many advice about blender, thanks!!
I don't know if you do texture per texture on pupose but with node wrangler instead of "CTRL+T" press "CTRL+SHIFT+T" and select all the map. It will do all of them at the same time (Saving time and action)
Really good how you go through every single tiny step for tutorials, extremely helpful thank you!
yaayy finally i found that i wanted before! Thanks man keep it up
My *UV Option* is not coming after *converting the text to mesh* . Please help
Amazing.. as always.. the legend.. ducky..💪💪💪❤️
"Fiction is a bunch of lies, [bro]."
This guy basically taught me blender
yooo thank you so much it helped me alot
there is just something i dont get it
in 13:52 when i click on (project from view) nothing happens i went to uv editing i see nothing :) im kinda new
bro go in 'Edit mode' & select the text by select box and press A
I have improvement to your favorite trick. Unwrap -> Scale = 0 -> and then MERGE BY DISTANCE -> allign to grid... ! That is it. No Junky method needed to move each of 0-scaled individual.
You are doing a great work! Keep it up! ❤️
a great tutorial for beginners!
Hi guys! In order not to have to scroll down so far: The font in the intro is called: Planet Kosmos
Best teacher
DERSERV AN AWARD👍👍
Excellent! Thank you so much
Ducky ..
you helped me to change ma dream into profession....
LOve from PAKISTAN
Ohh that's really awesome,,, thanks 👍🏻
awesome work
Sleek work! Good job!
so cool! thank you for sharing!
Awesome Work 👍
I got lost many times but I'm pretty happy with what I ended up with
Really nice, but you lost me for a moment at 2:54 where you opened the Shading, clicked the "Principled BDSF" and hit Control+T. My computer did not open the "node wrangler" until I found out that I first needed to install it manually
Works for me, thanks man!
Ottimo tutorial !! Grazie !!
Very creative thing, but the descaling of uv-wrap was for me hard to understand.
finally since longtime
Very cool !
I bought this work from you, after rendering it shows a white square, does not work
Thanks for the tuto dear.
pretty cool and interesting, thnxy
7:56 in this step my text doesn't go glow. What did i do wrong?
Crazy dude😲
thank you for your super videos
Hello everyone I have a problem. Some keyboard shortcuts don't work. What to do?
One day I am gonna own a computer that can do this.
Thnaks for the tutorial
mine didnt look like that xD
Amazing!
What is the font u used in the thumbnail ? And thank you so much for your tuto, so cool ! 👍💯
Nice bro!😃
2:50 When I hit control + T, it doesnt come up with the paramters as it shown on this video
I KNOW thank you, i have no idea what to do either
If you guys figure it out lmk lol
@@Shadow-oo5ls Still nothing
@@capriimusic you have to enable the node thing then it appears the boxes at least im still working on the texture part lol there's a comment somewhere that tells you how to enable the node
@@Shadow-oo5ls I will try! thx!
Hi amazing Tutorial Thanks you
Nice tips
Very cool one Ducky! I'd like to see some diorama videos, because they're looking cool :)
Keep up the good job!
Hello good people, please i m real begginer in Blender and i m stucked on one shortcut. At 2:50 Ducky say push control + T and then blender show Image texture, mapping and texture coordinate. But when i try to push those controls , nothing happens. Can someone help me , how can i add manualy those addons? or why are those shortcuts not working? thank you many times!
You go to Edit in the upper left corner, then to Preferences and then to addons and look for node wrangler, there just check node wrangler.
Hey, been following your tutorials.
This looks amazing and I can follow your tutorials so you are dope
1:25 **Flint & steel noises**
thank you
Merci beaucoup !
Hotkeys on mac struggling))
Awesome
thanks man ima try to create my youtube intro with this 👍🏾
Wew I thought you used an ocean modifier with some bumps and make it that rocky feel. But great vid as always!
I’m glad you liked it
Thank you for this amazing tutorial ❤️
This is such a great tutorial, simply because of the nice explanation for the camera animation
Very nice - Ive always been a fan of Neon lights, even including them as part of my logo, and this is a modern alternative Im thinking, an edge glowing glass or plastic, has got me thinking !
been trying to do the uv mapping for 6 hours now (2.93) and no matter what I do it will not unwrap and project from view....... what gives?
congratulation 👍
