Great videos, could you do a video on how to start with seting up, often you get to a new track and dont know were to adjust first, so a video on diagnosing a problem with handeling and were to start seting up. thanks
Hi Trish mate Quick question about the Couger laydown and The cougar laydown stock spec .......... what's the difference and is the stock spec a better kit , also can the stock spec kit be used in modified class and would that be advantageous. I've had a small rc break , in fact my last race was a national meet in 1993😄 I'm toying with the 2wd 4wd choice at the moment, I always raced 4wd but I fancy the cheapness , simplicity and the challenge of 2wd . Great to here your advice and tips as always. Stay safe and healthy Alex Peacock
Hi Trish! I raced a Cat XLS and Top Cat back in the 80s, and am coming back to the hobby because The nephews are showing an interest. I've got myself a Cougar KD for racing at Mendip. I understand pretty much everything in the manual except one little detail. On the setup sheets, the hex wheel carrier hubs are depicted with a setting box pointing to the notches on the wheel face of the hex hub. I can't for my life think what this setting is! Can you explain it to an old bufuddled racer please?
Hey Trish, Great videos they have helped me a lot. I've just built the Laydown, I have orca oe1 ESC and a ORCA MODTREME 6.5T Brushless Motor installed. Setup as per kit for astro. When I get on to the power it keeps spinning out, any ideas what could be the problem. Been testing in the garden on my artificial grass. Thanks Jay
Hi Trish, i was wondering if you guys might have some ball diffs for the Cat L1 Evo in the works.. You guys offer it for the Laydaown, i thought it would be cool if you can offer it for the Cat L1 Evo as well.. thanks Chris
Hi love your videos. Just trying to get back into the hobby after 20 years out. I got a 2nd hand set up to get me started its s 2wd Schumacher Cougar KC. I am looking at getting a new kit to build over Xmas. I will mainly be running on new ESO carpet, then in summer worn out astroturf. I am torn whether to get a new 2wd or a new 4wd I have heard different opinions on which is easier to drive. Do you have any thoughts on this or which way to go?
Hi trish great videos thanks for the help , how do you measure toe angle front or rear , I find the rear a bit easier because of the inserts but the front can be anywhere ?
Hi Mate, hope you are well. I have a question for you. As you are a aware we have had rear motor, mid motor, shaft drive and laydown 2wd buggies. What trend do you think will be next and what do you think the next 2wd cougar will be like. Many thanks and stay safe from Adrian.
My hero!
Thanks for answering my question Trish. Stay safe

Finally found and enjoying your videos trish. Do you think graphite powder could be used as a lubricant in drive cups to minimise dirt build up? Peter

what is the differance of running rear hingepins high or low in the C and D block on a 2wd?

Do you cut the front tires on the 2wd? I know a lot of people cut the bead !
Could you recommend a pinion and spur gear combo for good all around performance on a Cougar Laydown running a 10.5T brushless motor? Thanks
