LEARNED more from a 8 minute video THAN I EVER LEARNED IN SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was amazing. The clearest and most straightforward instruction I’ve seen here on how to do this operation. Kudos, and thank you for this.
Glad you liked it!
I'm glad we met last night! This video answered so many questions I had about router tables.

Wayne Brown
I know I probably watched this when it first came out. I have been struggling trying to finally do this so I watched it again today. Excellent instruction! I feel confident I should be able to do this. Wish me luck!
Fantastic presentation. I have always chiseled the rounded mortises and I don’t know why I never thought to chisel the tenon’s instead. That’s so simple... Thanks man
I've been noodling my way into joinery in the pursuit of building glue-free furniture for my rabbits, and this was an excellent video with good clean instructions and clear narration. Great find, thanks!
WOw.. you make it look easy! Thank you. Very well explained too!
Doing Mortise and Tenon joints in wood working class at the moment. This is Brilliant.
Thumbs up and SUBSCRIBED. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge.
I always found mortise and tenon joints a little intimidating. This is by far the easiest method and simplest explanation I've seen. Can't wait to try it! Thanks for this video!

Just bought a new table saw. Attempting mortice and tenon for the first time using machinery.
Cut the tenon on the table saw, used the router method for the mortice. Trimmed out the corners of the mortice with a chisel and boom, perfect fit first time.
Thank you, Sir.
I didn't miss this video! Great tutorial, Guy. You do an excellent job teaching others.
Hey Sean! Thanks buddy!
I really love this work....
I know this is an old video, but exactly what I was looking for! I could picture it in my mind, but this was a great demonstration. Thanks!!
Excellent video. Well conceived and organized. Clear step by step instructions with not a wasted word and good illustrative photography. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Guy. I especially appreciated the absence of the irritating, irrelevant banter that so many presenters seem to consider mandatory (e.g. almost any video that starts with " What's up guys?")
An excellent instruction video, clear, precise, & to the point. Thank you for sharing .
Thanks for watching Clark!
Really good instructions! Thx!
As always, great job and appreciate your instruction!

Thanks Tom!
Great video, Guy! I just obtained a router table and have yet to use it to cut mortises. (I have used a drill press and chisels in the past.) This video gives me the confidence to get at the project tomorrow, especially with the blue tape trick. I was wondering about the best way to mark out the width of the bit. Excellent tip. Thanks again.
Hi,
Thanks for a good tip, I'm building a workbench with a router in the bench. Will be done and then I'll try your tip.
Very good tutorial on using a router for mortise and tenon. As a beginner woodworker this is very understandable and well explained. Thanks for the video. Subscribed!!
Thanks B rad!
Love that method, Guy, and your instruction was dead on as usual.
Thanks Steve!
Excellent video - camera work was perfect and the explanations were super easy to follow - many thanks! I had started building something for my wife that called for mortise & tenon joints. I figured I could use headlock joinery instead. However, I soon realized the parts of the project were too small and I HAD to use m/t. After seeing the prices of mortising machines I was bummed out. A quick Google of how to do m/t on a router table turned up your video and this is for sure the way I'm going on this project. Thanks again...
Helpful video, thank you.
That was incredibly helpful. Great video, Guy!
Thanks Michael!

Very nice video. I like you style: concise, to the point. You earned my subscription, fella.
Great demonstration!
I would take the shortcut too and round the tenon!
Let the folks with the mortise machine have their squares!
I've just table-mounted my router. I'll give this a try, and see if I can overcome my irrational fear of mortise and tenon joints, lol.
Beautifully explained, thank you.
