I bought Salsify seeds from Baker Creek last fall and planted them this spring. Some are growing in a little plot here. No flowers as yet. I want to try the roots.
This plant is a perennial or biennial so that means the seeds you have won't produce flowers this year - but will next year!!
Making banoffee pie for a relative's birthday. Was going to decorate it with daisies but have decided to also use the non-dubious (😂) salsify ('Jack go to bed at noon'-love that name, (it is also known as 'farmer's clock'.))
That sounds amazing!!
