Hi Jonny! LOVE The Narration... (I know you think you overdo it but it's great!) Good to see a Ham out there doing his thing... I intend to do the same once I get everything dialed in... I am fully retired now and have been Boondocking in Northern Az for 2 weeks. My setup is a little heavy, so I'm out here working on paring things down to bring that under control... I have a tendency to over prepare for things... Anyway, seems like you guys got spooked, but it's always best to listen to your gut... The remorse for not doing so can be a heavy price should something go wrong... LOL @ Daytrippers!!
It’s amazing to see how the landscape changes in different elevations, from dry hot desert scrubs to patches of snow with towering sequoias! Gotta be so nice to camp at one of those meadows. Great video, Jonny!
It's nice up there if you would have made it all the way there. My wife and I went there 2 years ago during the tail end of winter. Snow up there can get crazy. We were trying to come back down a different way but didn't have enough fuel to explorer the other way down. Good video btw.

Like your videos, gear and the content. I think your title was more "click bait" that an actual lead into what you posted. The video was inspiring and looks like a fun day trip, nothing wrong with changing plans and if the situation is not deemed safe then make it safe. I offer this comment because many other overland and adventure videos are going to paid and sponsored content, negative and political messaging, and just losing the point. I like this content and hope you stay true to your beginnings as less and less entertainment is left on RUclips (and other platforms). Please take this as a compliment and friendly comment.

Then you wouldn't last in the meadows in Northern Idaho...trees do that all the time. Tree is adjusting to the cold temperatures especially if there's a lot if sap in the trees. The sap has oxygen in it as well as some sugar deposits. The cold...in kinda of a nutshell... will basically expand it and creak the wood, making those kinda popping sounds you hear. Totally normal my man...but still a great video, keep them coming.

Interesting choice of words when describing nature. Let's just say, Persephone is real. So am I. But no one will be reading the book. So nothing matters. Moving mountains, leaving fires and brush in the wake. Been there beforehand on groundhog day. Had been left no choice no one heard my voice, but the sun through the trees through the wind and deep seas, every stone overturned all waters to rebirth me.

I love the Sequoia national Forest. I went theree about 10 years ago and got out and hiked to the big General Sherman and it is enormous in person.

Interesting choice of words when describing nature. Let's just say, Persephone is real. So am I. But no one will be reading the book. So nothing matters. Moving mountains, leaving fires and brush in the wake. Been there beforehand on groundhog day. Had been left no choice no one heard my voice, but the sun through the trees through the wind and deep seas, every stone overturned all waters to rebirth me.

Aw, thank you! But I was disallowed to write and author, once it was half finished. Tragically, for some odd reason, I was born very different. I am somehow connected to world events. I know it sounds so crazy. Let's just hope I am wrong. The only other alternative would be to discover the threshold of what humans en masse are entitled to be aware of, concerning ultra invaluable insight of inconsiderable magnitude, into realities that greatly affect us all. The fine line of knowlege. And I don't know where that line is. Otherwise a cirriculum could possibly still be created, if not too late for world amidst downward spiral.
