Man, I got to say that animaker does indeed have some cool features, yet it is relatively unstable to use. I've been working on a small animation project requested by my department, and I've encountered the same problems as you did, like the "objects disappearing" and "switched up scene" bugs. Adding on to that, I've even encounter a bug where the site just randomly crash into a white screen with some codes showing. Much to my interest, I've been trying to find the reason why these were constantly happening, yet I failed and can only speculate that bugs and errors might occur more frequently regarding to content abundance and the length/size of your inserted music/sound track and stuff, or may occur abruptly due to connection issues. Fortunately I found that there is a ''Lock" function, which appears in the tool box when right clicking on your items; I've locked every single items in my video and it was not affected by subsequent bugs (yet). All in all, is the animaker a creative tool to use? Yes; but would I recommend? Considering the stability of the stie, NO.
Thanks for the detailed review video. I started using animaker after your review and I too find it little difficult in understanding at initial stage but there is a tutorial to understand each component. It is really suberb product easy to create videos with animations. Cool product. I have used lip sync for the character and lip synced to the character perfectly. There are too many awesome features too. I would like to recommend this product to others.
Hahah I had the same slow internet warning throughout. My internet was just fine. I've been trying to figure out Animaker and still have no idea what I am doing. I really like the end results for complete animations I have seen, but how to get there... I still have no idea. Especially those subtle movements. I'll have to keep playing with it, but I do wish it wasn't so damn confusing!
This is a service that I am considering using but I don't think that it's a fair review if you don't watch any of the tutorials. I did the same thing you did and got a little frustrated and then I decided to watch their tutorials which are pretty short and well put together. Jumping in without knowing what you are doing actually ends up costing you more time in the long run.
Nice informative review. I just came across Steve AI which seems to be a more streamline/simplified version. It's also a bit janky at times but still you get a decent finished video pretty quickly so seems good for one offs if you are not creating more detailed videos a lot of the time.
Yes, Steve AI is a cool idea, but they need to work on the execution 😅I wasn't overly impressed with the results, but maybe I've become picky over the years.
@@RuedRiisCom yep for me it was pretty good but I ended up recreating it from scratch in animaker because the AI one lacks tools to fine polish text padding etc. Took me much longer but using the AI one as a kindof prototype reference made it quicker than it would have been using a more generic template. They should incorporate the AI part into animaker or allow importing it. But yeah I liked the speed of script to template/video even if it wasn't perfect.
I was feeling your pain! Animaker's user interface is very non-intuitive. I do like the idea of each item having it's own timeline but it's very clunky to use.
The last time I used Animaker I noticed that it lacked the "continue scene" function that Vyond has. This made it extremely difficult to produce a good animation. Thank you Rued! Love your videos!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! It is of very poor quality. The producer of this product has a VERY poor record with WARRIOR PLUS and his other products have a 1 1/2 and 2 start ratings which say it all. PLUS they do NOT honour their GUARANTEE>>>> and refuse to refund!! You have been warned, don't touch it with a bargepole!!
3:04 Your voiceover recording length is limited by your scene length. Increase the length of your scene first. Also, if you place our character first, click on him then click lip-synce at the top, you can do your voice over then and your little dude will lip-synce to it. 6:50 Dude at the desk is in the actions. There are a lot of props in there for some reason.
you should check out the view function once you make an animation! it breaks constantly, i've yet to get through a ten minute animation without something in it breaking at least once.

I just tried and it utterly sucks. it didn't add subtitles. It didnt' let me download videos. It didn't let me download subtitle files it "generated"... It didn't do an absolutely nothing of the only things he was supposed to do. Nice product, i recommend it if you have time to lose and you want to get mad at useless programmers. And I'm a programmer myself
Hi there! Can I join your animation agency as an vyond animator. I have an extensive experience in Vyond and love making explainer videos and animation. Regards Usama
Thanks for the video. I realy like the AI voices on Animaker and the ability to add gaps and emphasise words etc. Also enjoying the autosubtitle generator.
I am having some young undergraduates create science videos for me which may be used for commercial purposes. Based on your extensive experience, which animation should they use for ease of use and enough features to create exciting animation and not a steep learning curve. Thank you
Hey Rued, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative, very useful and well-made. I loved your videos. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts for you?

Right? Yeah, I guess the idea is good, but the execution could be a lot better.
i think the one you introduced before Vyond and Toonly is better than this Animaker
Time line in animemaker is very bad
It is not the best, no. Something needs to be unified and streamlined there.

Yes, that too. Thanks for your comments!
I hoped that wasn't the case :( I can't zoom in on something and have the camera stay there for the next scene, or smart move and have it stay ):

Thanks for the review Rued but i will remain with the boss(vyond) 😊

Yes, if that’s what works, do that. Me too! :)
Es un timo. Contratas un año. Renuevan automáticamente y te cobran 222 euros sin tu consentimiento. Solicitas la devolución y pasan de ti. Un fraude😊

Is there not a way to change a facial expression during a scene without changing to another scene? Can't figure out how to do that. Great video!
Can you import your own background?
Sure.

Yes I do - on my website: www.ruedriis.com/store

Broooooo, the sass! Love it.
What’s that? 😅
What is your favorite animator tool??
Thank you for you this. I really enjoyed. Subbed!
Thanks for the sub!
Another fantastic episode Rued.
Thank you for your effort to create this video.
Vyond still seems the best for creativity without fuss!
Thanks, David ☺️
great job Rued.
What software did you use to record your video? Looking for 1 that have a circle for the camera view.
ScreenFlow. But I made the circle myself. The easiest tool to circle yourself in a corner is Loom.
Thank you. Keep making great videos!
