DISCLAIMER - Because I see people actually wanting to pull Dehya just because of this video:
This is not a serious build! This video is a joke, this will not work against most bosses, and the full AFK thing only works against Jadeplume Terrorshroom because its arena has walls. Every other mob/boss will knock you back out of their aggro range before you kill them, and some will even deal enough damage to kill you. Now you're informed :)

I'd just like to clarify that despite the memes, Dehya is still an extremely underwhelming unit. She will be added to the standard banner in the next update, and I don't recommend pulling for her in her current state. Although this build is a fun meme for a little while, please don't try to get her because of it - it is absolutely not viable!

@@syarifht5929 but with Dehya's DoT and healing cooldown, you'd basically cycle between them. The long cooldown doesn't matter if other things are covering the role while its cooling down.

Well, as a Dehya wanter, haver, and not-yet-self-loathing-enough-to-mainer, this entire ordeal has been very depressing. But I will say, it's nice to see some fun content come out of it. Thank you for that.
Gonna be real, as a dehya haver i find that the doomposting about her has been blown so out of proportion. She's mediocre at best but she's still fun to play and use, and it just feels like the kokomi/yoimiya situation all over again where people spend the entire time up until her release shitting on her because "cant crit/bad damage multipliers/bad kit" and then later on gets an artifact set or some support characters that make them really good and people stop shitting on them. One of the leaked artifact sets for 3.6 looks like it's made for Dehya so I'm excited for that.
Y'all are the best. This type of comment and content is what keeps me returning every now and then and play the game.
I pulled for Kuki at her debut at 2.8 and also for Thoma in Yae's debut, at 2.5. I fell in love with each of their character. If you play since that time you know the bashing was real over them.
Went absent from the game from 3.0 to 3.4 and now I decided to raise Collei. I often repeat to myself that I wish I had never heard about the community, but I guess that is just natural to everything: that the good stuff is always something that you have to search amidst a lot of bad stuff.
I have like a lot of reasons why she is the vest for me, she can pair with raiden and kuki, gives chances to melt burgeon and overload teams and more, i am so happy just like how they appreciate Nilou
@@StingnB yeah but kuki and thomas are just niche 4 stars characters, they have always been good in what they were supposed to do even if it wasn't useful metawise when they got released. While dehya is literally outclassed in everything that she does, even by 4 stars characters. She's still really fun to play tho, and i guess that's what matters.
for dehya, she IS the fun content. literally no other character are oriented so fucking unhinged as Dehya who literally has no way to fill a role slot on a team other than her on field capabilities. on my book this is a big W, but i will only consider once i get her on a 50/50 loss or standard, im saving up for a certain someone.
(also she might be a prototype HYV tested for Murata gameplay, would be cool if she has HP scaling and sacrifice mechanics)

As long as you never switch to any other character in your team.
Tbh, I really like her for exploration.
Her passive boosts speed for whole party, she is tall (better for climbing, swimming and running), pyro is very useful for puzzles and wood shields, claymore for rock/ice shields and ores, self heal.
And since I'm still very low AR, her damage is not bad in the slightest. She actually destroys any overworld group of enemies with E -> NA -> E, and a full unboosted Q takes half the health of any boss.

I did this too and its really fun. It's super satisfying with the bell. The shield is like 17k when she had that much hp. I also like to pair Noelle for that passive shield no one ever uses, and Barbara for the just incase resurrection. Ajadaha had trouble getting through all that.

Ok this is the only video that makes Dehya seem viable or even op.
maybe in the overworld but, she definitely isn't outputting actual damage to be viable in abyss with this build and even with this, you wont last against three magu kenki or even clear them in time. not to mention the corrosion damage all gets funneled into her.
@@miraqen7801 I’m unsure actually. You would die in the Abyss face tanking everything like this, but if we treat her like Hydro Kokomi, albeit still preferring a secondary healer for comfort, she can tank a lot of damage, and repeatedly blast with Ocean Hued Clam from off field.
Don’t get me wrong, she’s still one of the five stars of all time, but this feels like it might make her viable at C1/2 when she gets better HP scaling and skill coverage.
think about this, "AFK FARMING ARTIFACT DOMAINS"
im not sure if this is possible with newer trounce domain bosses, scara and raiden both have oneshot moves that you need to 'dps' for

honestly i feel like dehya is one of the best chars a new player can have. she relatively cheap to build, she looks cool is pyro and has alot of survivability. sure she wont clear abyss as fast as others. but no new player has the equipment for that anyways
im sure this is how she's meant to be played. she's not weak, she's completely broken. im waiting for when genshin finally releases some sort of boss related to celestia and dehya just walks in and beats the final boss by standing there.
I don't think that going afk for 17 minutes for boss to kill itself is the way Hoyo planned it. She seems rushed and unbalanced. Would be cool character concept without all those small flaws that sums up to being bad. Cope

Did you pull Noelle? Strongest shield after Zhongli, can heal your team when hitting with her shield on, main stat def.

I've been hoping for the longest time that Genshin would add a "Survive as long as you can" type of end game content. If that ever happens, Dehya is literally top tier.
