The now scrapped video I was working on before had me looking into recent "Drama" and revisiting some old content I used to watch but now just don't enjoy. It really was quite the bummer.
To be fair, every other Genshintuber and their mother is talking about it. Unless you feel like you have a unique perspective to add, why bother if it makes you sad?
@ObiAlmighty I didn't mean he had to have a unique perspective to speak on it. I'm saying if making the video makes him miserable, and other people have already covered what he's going to say, then there's no point in forcing himself to make the video.
FWIW, I appreciated that you were the one creator who looked back on the first year anniversary and recognized that it was the community losing their shit over nothing.

@@Dev-bn8psIt's funny because it's a magic bracelet. Although it's original function not useful without it's twin. She uses it to channel concentrated hydro instead. Making use of what you have is such a special agent thing to do. It matches her character. Lol

Fun fact mondstadt HQ uses a special 2D texture for view from the inside the texture was probably made in beta so it's safe to assume that it's a reflection of how mondstadt looked in beta

Here's another fun one in Mondstadt. If you check the windows on the inner wall of the entrance gate, all of the reflections indicate that they are right above the fountain
Candace's Constellation pattern is not symmetrical. The two upper points that connect to the single point at the very top, one of them is more slanted than the other. I literally can't unsee it now that I noticed it.

Fun Fact! In the Fountain in the Court of Fontaine has small water fountains in the middle. The one closest to the entrance to the aquabus is uneven with the alignment to the fountain unlike the other three.
Well tbh the uncentered planters is kinda realistic since they're not a part of the actual pathway but are placed there like giant long pots of flowers. The holders have feet, which means they can be moved. Makes sense that they're not perfectly aligned, especially when you consider Mondstadt is a booming city (not reflected in game) and they might get pushed around, especially with horse carriages being common.
After only seeing negativity and arguments all day this video gave me the dose of positivity I needed
One that bothers me sometimes is just how textures move depending on the angle of your camera you can go stand in the prison inside of a tile on the floor then start rotating the camera and you'll see the bricks move around under your feet. This happens in other places but it's pretty easy to see there.
that's an unfortunate shortcoming of parallax mapping. every texture that looks "3d" will behave like this
Diona also has that eyebrow style, but it's not hidden, so I have to look at it constantly.
I remember Valkyrja talking about the not centered/weirdness like floating of buildings in Mondstadt and Liyue back in like 1.2 or something. Looks like they never touched those, lol (not that it matters ofc, but you can't unsee that😅)
The only thing I can't unsee are the three fates HYV will give its loyal players for their 3 years of patronage

Add the Cat's Tail. It's a full building outside, but the upstairs only covers the back half of it. Yet there's clearly a building above the counter.
The clock above mondstadt's souvenir shop is placed over a window. Horray to reused assets!
Also ty the uneven area in monstadt is going to drive me crazy
Another thing about the domain keys is that if you're in coop and position yourself/rotate the camera in a way that it's in front of another players name the, you'll notice that the key is on at least two different layers - one front of players' name and one behind them...
The fact that Mondstadt was the first major city made (and the first region too) it's understandable why the design is so wrong.
Still, it's the place where we all started the game, so it feels like home.

fun fact, Knights of favonius headquarters has stairs leading to the second (well, first) floor, but have anyone ever tried to get there? I have, there's an invisible wall that's blocking the passage and you see if you look to the left and right that stairs does not lead all the way to the second floor and you see an ugly model of ceiling

In crimson witch domain there's a place a bit to the right (near the slime spawn) where you can't place Zhongli's pillar straight for some reason, though the floor is perfectly flat there.

Someone gotta say it, but.... Chasm is a butt hole, Devantaka Mountain is a vagina.
There is one where you can notice that Venti's statue in from of the cathedral in Mondstadt is not facing straight to the gate entrance to the city and kinda turned to the right. Check by standing on the hand of the statue. You can even see it on the map that Venti's statue is slightly off.
Are we not gonna be talking about the fact that the domain key is a 2D sprite like its 1999 or something.
Well, it is certainly mystical, so it has an excuse.

But what's your opinion on gauss prime? I think he's awesome, I like fast paced characters so I instantly wanted to main him and spent my precious money to get him, absolutely worth it.

i saw a post that shows that the unfilled area that borders the sumeru, fontaine, and liyue (chenyu vale) looks like a ditto silhouette

there is an island in enkanomiya which is not shown on the map which also looks a LOT likd an among us character. (i think it's called some kind of laboratory, you can see it from other islands)
The Warframe thing caught me off guard, I was expecting Genshin un-see's only but here we are, 6 years strong too and now I see the Fortress in a different way. I also have stamps outlining Kannazuka so the amogus is more noticable so my friend gets sick and tired whenever he goes on my acc and it kills me everytime cause he always forgets!
Yeah, this just confirms how much I dislike Mondstadt that I don't even pay attention to it at all. I am too much of a perfectionist, yet I have never even noticed these flowers even being there, in front of like the ceo of primogems.

There is also in Inazuma - odd path in the upper right conner of the city, main building in the Miko’s shrine doesn’t add up
I am willing to accept all of the Knights of Favonius HQ impossibilities as witchy shenanigans, on part of Alice, if not Lisa too.
Another one I know of is Devantaka mountain in Sumeru, it kinda looks like a female part, even the waypoint is in the right place
honestly? the planter makes it better. of course one would be off-center slightly in an actual city so if anything it makes it feel more real

I have a few that you haven't talked about here.
There is a staircase in Mond that has bush garden beds on either side, with one side that looks like a dick (with a border, admittedly), and the other side looks like a vagina. I headcanon Kaeya did this, and that's why Amber's line about him suspects he has done something to some plants... because he has done it before lmao.
The seams in between textures on walls. The big stone ones in Stormterror's Lair are the biggest examples I can think of..... Some look like they didn't even try to match it up.
The flowers in the planters in Mondstadt (And probably other places, but I've refused to look lmao) aren't actually in the dirt.... They hover above it
The keys in domains are flat if you look at them from directly above (or they were last time I checked a few months ago)
The buildings in Fontaine city have windows you can see through, and they look into rooms that don't make sense a lot of the time
every book catalyst only have the same thing on all of their pages (you can see it when the character summons it and it starts flipping through the pages by itself)

Genshin's gravity is almost twice as strong as earth's normally (i calculated it at 19.4m/s²), and it's not constant, as each type of jump has a different gravity (standing jumps having higher gravity than long sprint jumps)
I haven't played Genshin in awhile so I'm fuzzy on the location (Wangshu Inn, I believe), but there's a raft that you can get underneath if you dive hard enough from high up enough or if you plunge into the water near it. If you stay underneath it for an extended period of time, when you come out, you'll get launched straight into the sky at high speed.
I noticed the flower beds in Mondstadt a while back and it bugs me SO MUCH xD However, I was unaware of the key in the Emblame domain so thanks for that :'D Now that's gonna bug me too XD
Im annoyed by Alhaitham's weird abs (how many abs does he have? 8-10? why is the top abs almost as big as his pecs?) and his skinny legs..

To my knowledge Ayaka is the only character that doesn’t moan/grunts when climbing up walls, she only grunts when you jump while climbing but other than that she doesn’t make any sound

The thing with some "misaligned" props is not due to the crappy creators but to make it feel more "real" as if everything is perfectly aligned and gridded subconsciously it creates alienated feeling or you can call it however you want
The pre-4.2 Fontaine map looked like a penguin from club penguin smoking a fat blunt. You're welcome.
Rosaria used to kick her spear up on her character weapon screen. But they since removed that animation and replaced it with a generic animation a long time ago. Why? Idk. I miss the kick
There is a floating water glitch around the lingju pass below the 3 abyss mages precious chest but it was fixed now.

When chenyu vale came there's this empty place in the map (you can't go there bc of paimon barrier) it looks like ditto
Here is one more: Yelan jacket is just floating on her shoulder, there is no part of the jacket that is connected to her body or clothes. Ganyu hair has no pin or something that holds it together therefore her hair looks like its glued together
The top of the windmill tower in mondstadt city has a broken fence/some of the fence pieces are floating and it never fails to ruin my day
Am I the only person who has noticed that the floating circles at the Stormterror domain entrance are not lined up with the circle at floor level? It drives me crazy every time I enter the domain
