It was cool coming up with mixed attack for the original darmanitan knowing it had a niche ability. It paid off to plan, the new one seems like it’s a candidate for nerfing that’s toooooo strong even.
I'll go old school with this one,I usually pick the galarian forma because they are new and some of them look cooler but this time I prefer Unovan Darmanitan because I think in a match with good moves the Unovan Darmanitan would win.

As for this matchup, even though Galarian Darmanitan is broken and looks cool, I still prefer the original. Zen Mode is better on Galarian Darmanitan by far, but I don’t like Gorilla Tactics and the Fire/Ice Snowman should’ve been its own thing, not a form of an existing Pokémon. However, the Galar form might grow on me if I ever have an occasion to use it.
I think I like the idea of Unova Zen darmanitan, cuz it's like it spends so much time doing as much damage as it can but then when it takes too much damage it's like "oh better switch up tactics and go more defensively so I can last longer"
I've been waiting for this! Hope to see Mr Mime form fight interestingly enough it got an evolution with Sword and Shield Mr.Rime so idk how that would be included so whichever form wins then have it face off with Mr.Rime? I have a love for so many new pokemon thanks to the new Galarian forms much like Aloan forms I like most of them. I think they knocked it out of the park with this one. Mr. Rime is so awesome ice / psychic I love using the move freeze/dry for those water types! Weirdly enough one of my favorite forms is Stunfisk which I know is silly? But, I never really cared about it before back in Unova ground/electric which is kind of cool but I really like the Ground/steel typing better it really helped me out in my playthrough imunity to electric and poison. Also that many moves aren't very effective with the weakness it does have well I have other pokemon to take care of that. But, it was a star player on my team! Anyone agree? Keep it up GameFreak we want more forms!

They were trained by the Dudley Boyz, Ricky Santana, and their dad... HAKU. So whenever I think of Galarian Darmanitan, I think of them. I also think of my annoyance by its appearance.
Yea, a built in choice band is broken when you can use another choice band that has no draw backs or a choice band to have BOTH choice band and scarf on you. Other than that no reason for it to be banned.
Galarian Darmanitan has the much better Zen Mode by far. Regular Darmanitan has those great defenses rendered somewhat moot by the fact it can only work with half its max HP at best, which is really annoying. Hitting a bit harder and moving a lot faster is definitely preferable. That said, I really do like both overall, I've only been able to use regular Darmanitan since I have Shield.

Shiny Unovian Darmanitan never activated Zen Mode because she knew that would be bad for her after seeing what happened to the other Zen Mode.

Galarian Zen Mode is my favorite, followed by Unovan Standard, then Galarian Standard. Unovan Zen isn’t particularly great.
Even though I grew up with Black and white I like both evenly and find them both to be unique and fun to use
I love that snowman, but I have to go with Unovan. Especially in a metronome battle where both physical and special attacks are equally possible.
