Reminds me of my dad's morris oxford!(i know there not very alike but it just does).like that fab lady we went all over the place. Cheers.
Those Lincoln engines were incredibly dependable. If only auto manufacturers in America still made engines like that Lincoln now days.
A Lincoln Capri with battle scars... priceless.She must have ripped off the chrome door pieces on the right side in a tight bend.
@talfacprez That 5.0 sounds pretty good and it is all in the family.
Neat old car.
I know what you mean. I used to have a '66 Ford flatbed truck with the original 289 small block... small but it hauled a.s.s. with a full load up mountain passes at 70 mph!
@Busia1949 I thought the same,wonder what mufflers;if any?
Didn't Lincoln enter those cars in the Baja races back in the '50's? I heard they used MacFerson struts also.
That engine sounds healthy...
Yeah, chrome jewelry lost along the way... what a great find that must have been for some kid in Mexico... he/she may end up racing!
@reijerlincoln That's what I was thinking.
...well the original engine that came in the car was a tank. I bet it would out last the Cobra engine now in it.
A Floydian sensibility if I ever heard one.
