this song is nuts. I am so happy from a musical stand of view that someone can produce this type of pop music nowadays. the melody is very complex even by Kalafina standards. I also wouldn't be able to name a musician I like 99% of their works. Other than Yuki.
Using original instrumental sounds (without too much reliance on synth) can do that to music imho. When u here the studio version, u can clearly hear the guitar, drums, flutes, violins etc etc. These translate easily to live. And using as much of the singer’s original voice for the studio recording (minimal cleanups, no distortions, no effects etc etc) also means an easier transition to live performance. The singer just need to sing as she did in the studio or one up it for a version that sounds “better than the studio”. On a related note: Thats what i like about yuki kajiura’s work. Its a harmonic combination of unmodified sounds of different instruments. Minimal use of effects. U hear that violin as it is. U hear the singer as she is. U should hear what she did for fate/zero and fate/heavens feel and even SAO. Amazing work, all of them. And kajiura has a new vocal asset to work her magic: Aimer. Aimer alone provided 7 songs for the fate series. Ill give the titles if ur interested, n see if u can tell wether kajiura-san had a hand in these songs: Broken night Last stardust Hollow world I beg you Hana no uta Haru wa yuku Brave shine

I guess I can comment every year that this is the best song ever written :) I am sort of full of shit saying this, cause Yuki continues to create music. The funniest thing - I figured she works with Aimer/Lisa when I heard "I Beg You" and I was all like - this sound like something Yuki could've write and - it was.
