That expressway speed is no joke. I also have found that the Augusta area has a lot less speed traps then from where I came from in NE Ohio. It's nice not to always have worry about getting a ticket.
Bobby Jones Expressway is dangerous. 65 mph is slow. The heat is outrageous. If you have a job outside be careful. The heat in the summer will cook your skin. We don't have much of winter, not much snow. Medical care is excellent. Roads are terrible and torn up in some areas.
@cliffterrell5785 Bobby Jones has recently been getting lots more traffic which I think is due to the increase of population…but honestly, it’s no comparison to where I’m from. For those working outside, the heat can definitely be an issue but as one going in and out of air condition throughout the day, I enjoy our Georgia summers
@T1DChampion Oh my goodness thanks so much! I totally forgot about the Eisenhower Army Medical Center that’s on base. For my military viewers there’s the VA and Eisenhower Army Medical Center. For the public and civilian viewers, there’s a Piedmont Hospital in Summerville which is close to downtown.

You have to be careful where you move to in Augusta. Some areas you need to stay away from.
You have to be careful wherever you move in the world, no area is 100% safe. As the same goes where there are people there are problems.
