Always great to see additions to this boat class, which is interesting and realistic to attain for many people. Brunswick read the market well, and is taking the fight to Axopar, Saxdor, etc.
Not fully convinced by this new specific entry though:
- Only one berth? There are smaller boats that sleep four, or at least three, comfortably
- Not sure the flip-bench over the wet bar adds much value. It certainly causes the wet bar to be very low, making it awkward to use
- Side decks are very narrow. Why not make the cockpit full-beam and have people through an aperture in the windshield?
- Sounds like the bow thruster is not standard equipment? That's disappointing for a new boat in 2023
Overall, I think the Yamarin DC88 with the 425hp outboard remains the best choice in this class given its blend of performance, comfort, aesthetics and price.
