Keep rocking Metallica Darin. See you have the band's now in seperate playlists. Good job. Will make it easier to know what you've done and easier for you to maintain from now on.
I did that because of you, I appreciate you for that because I wondered about that so for that, definitely man, I hope your night is going smooth as possible, love family.
Fuck me! I was 13 when this box set came out. I must have seen this thousand times but it always punches the air out of my lungs. Those days of cocaine tempos is how I choose to remember Metallica.
I got to see em on city island in hbg pa,, 1991,,, epic show,,,, to this day,, metal bands are banned form the island,,,, the sound goes up and down the river,,, and well metalica is known for very very loud systems,, and let's just say they got complains from miles away🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
If you notice most drummers, are of the skinny body,,, it's cuz they are the hardest working member of any metal or rock band,,, don't mess with a drummer,,, they always have more energy than you do🤣🤣🤣😍😍😍

This performance in August 1989 was part of a box set they released a couple of years after their self-titled "Black Album" that, to date, remains the best-selling record of the SoundScan era (25 million and counting). The box set, called "Live Sh*t: Binge & Purge," also included a three-CD recording of a concert in Mexico City and another video of a January 1992 performance in San Diego that was equally brutal in comparison to the Seattle show. All of it is available on RUclips and I encourage you to give them a look -- and allow me to recommend "Whiplash" from the San Diego show to get started. Cheers.
That's what Metallica does. LIVE!!!! They actually play and sound better live than on the studio albums. The energy that goes back and forth between the crowd and the band is undeniable and real and electric. There's nothing like a live Metallica concert. Yoooo D I don't know where you live but im buying tickets for Metallica in Pittsburgh August 14th I think it is or the 17th, can't remember. But if you can make it there..... I'll buy your ticket. @@bigemetalmilitia8462 my first concert ever was metallica in 1998,...it was an amazing night besides their acoustic set in the middle. Saw them again in 2004/5,...when the arena basically went silent during st. Anger songs. Took the wife and kids to see them for hardwired tour, just so they could see them at least once before they die ya know. That was pretty good, besides Jim brueher being the opener, and the new material. But compare any of the three shows I've seen to 80s/early 90s,...and they'll loose every time. Sometimes we're just born too late to see bands during their prime. And there's nothing we can do about it :(
If you watch some newer concerts than this one definitely pay attention to the guitars. Kirk Hammett the lead guitarist is a total geek when it comes to the horror movie genre- he has some really cool guitars.

Fun Fact: Metallica's first guitar player was Jamaican and he was black, his name was Lloyd Grant. He played the solo on the 1st song they ever wrote.
Lloyd Grant was never a member if the band. He recorded a demo of hit the lights.
Didn't say first member just said he was the first guitarist which is absolutely truth
