Luckily, I had very generous financial aid while I was at (and still am at) Duke. Thank you, Mr. Rubenstein, for setting up the Rubenstein scholarship at Duke because other low income and first-generation students can benefit from the financial security it provides to actually take advantage of a Duke education while they are in school. To be honest, I'm not going to remember what acronym "GO DUKE" stands for in your speech, but I'm going to remember the part about humility and value of education. Amen to that.
