+Miguel Cabrera Spent six months working in Mauritius and was able to go diving every weekend. The island is an ancient volcano so the sides just drop off very steeply indeed ( 2Km I seem to recall). For the most part the water is crystal clear but when you look over that ledge it vanishes in to darkness. Its an unnerving sight and it took me a while to swim out over that abyss.
Try surfing a rogue wave! You'll need a huge and sturdy ship instead of a surfboard, a live recording of your ride (or demise), and ideally send out your will just in case. Get on the crest and ride over 70ft in the air like no man would ever dare!
Look up Zac Sunderland. Successful solo circumnavigation accomplished just before his final year of high school. His record was surpassed but hey, he got featured on the 2009 theme song for Discovery Channel.
I've actually experienced that first hand at Galveston TX. We owned a condo overlooking the beach and at first we thought someone was shining a blue light on the ocean, then when it lasted for hours we went down to check it out. It was incredible! The plankton glows when agitated so glows with every step in the sand. It's amazing.
The ice crystals at 2:40 something those were awesome and I want to before that and the tornado ice tornado while I was all pretty good thank you for explaining what the stuff is cause I've just been looking at pictures of wondering what the hell well glad you put captions on the bottom explaining what was going on thank you for that. Keep up the good channel and fresh content keep up the good work bro..;)
I saw it at Christmas Island as a supply ship was leaving . We were standing on a raised bluff and the ship's departure passage was clearly marked by a phosphorescent green trail in the water ... I was in a band playing at the casino , fortunately the island's ecological officer was there to explain the phenomena and get the beers ... Straya , a land with it's priorities sorted
Excellent! I have actually witnessed #1, Bioluminescence. In Seal Beach, CA about 10 years ago. My girlfriend and I took a walk on the Seal Beach pier one foggy night. And the fog hung about 10 feet above our heads ... we were really in a sort of otherworldly world walking on to the pier. But once we reached the water breaking on the pilings the real magic started. All the plankton were glowing bright green, but when a wave washed up against a piling the plankton really lit up!!! In fact anything splashing in the water made them really light up. To the point we started running around trying to find things to throw in the water. We found some small rocks, a bottle cap or two, and once those objects hit the water "SPLASH" in the brightest most beautiful green. We thought we were dreaming, except for the fact that we were with each other, very much awake and alive. It was Incredible, something we will never ever forget.
Daniel Tosi I went to see it in March (that's when it came out in my country) and it was okay the first time. But then I kept seeing bento rice boxes with Olaf everywhere. And cosplays and stuffed toys and backpacks and it was so annoying!
+Top 10s At Kure Beach North Carolina. That is very close to Carolina Beach, very near to Wilmington NC. When I walked in the surf at night I saw the luminescence shooting from my foot prints as I walked through the wet sand. It was a spectacular sight. My boyfriend at the time pointed it out to me during a midnight stroll at low tide.
Those "underwater crop circles" are actually made by the Male puffer fish. Who makes them, amazingly intricately, to attract a mate. He even decorates it with pebbles 🤗
I have spent a couple of hours watching weird ocean phenomena ..tidal waves ,rogue waves ,tsunamis...........I may never swim in the ocean again !! All this viewing has scared the crap out of me. DOH !!!
I live in Washington and we have a cove here with bioluminescent water. So at night, in August, when there's a new moon or not a lot of light, we will go swimming in it. It is seriously the coolest thing ever! Anytime you move, the water lights up.
#1 When you think aliens are trying to make contact with us by making under water crop circles, but really it's just a jellyfish making a signal to get laid
The crop circles are created by pufferfish to attract females to mate. They constantly are there to build them cinch the currents will wash them away if not. It's most likely a new one and you scared the fish away or it's a recent one that the fish that built it has already found a mate and left. The biggest and most decorated 'crop circle' is the one the female will choose to mate. Hope this helped
I need this music as my ringtone when my boss calls

Nothing about this video should cause you to not want to surf if you love it so much. Imo
The ocean is amazing, terrifying, and beautiful all at the same time.
Now we know how spongebob was able to swim in a lake/ sea and Patrick almost drown underwater in water. (If that makes sense)
Thank you! I was waiting for a comment like this. :D

Im scared of water mostly oceans
Me i rather swim at pool
Yeah I'm not a beach guy either, I prefer wave pools and normal pools.
Same
I rather just search clams in beach instead of surfing then get eaten by quicksand
I am learning to swim...Go to the red sea you just float
Turned off the music.
Wow great video😂
1:13
That kinda explains Spongebob now...
This is why I always go to the pool more often
I've seen bioluminescence a bunch of times at lake Macquarie in Australia, it's always so mesmerising

Beautiful
The crops circles are actually fish making them to place there eggs
True, and discovered not so long ago. By the way, that is mentioned in the video.
That Interstellar screenshot in 'Rogue Waves'
Judy
haha yes
Ppl are terrified of oceans, but I think they're beautiful
I love how all the scary shit was balanced out by pretty glowy water and ice flowers
What about that picture you keep showing in between everything during the countdown? That's crazier than any you've listed. Or is it fake?
that is real it was caused by a sinkhole and it closed up then reopened and to this day nobody knows where all the water is going
Orbitan456 where is it? Do you know what it's called?

"Under Water Rivers"
These explains why Bikini Bottom has an ocean
Is it weird that the ocean intrigues me and I'd love to be a marine biologist, yet the thought of being in an open body of water terrifies me?

#8. Now I understand Goo Lagoon at Bikini Bottom.
The ocean is both terrifying and beautiful.
Suddenly SpongeBob starts making sense 😂😂😂
River in ocean makes me like "well that's the lost river biome from subnauctica."
1:17 that look so freaking scary imagine what can be found under there or what if someone went down there
Not scared of the water. And I appreciate all the help I get on my journey moving forward. To be the person I know I can be.
3:34 reminds me of the 1959 movie "Journey to the Center of the Earth," this similar type whirlpool was how they got there.
Number 8 had made me realize that half the stuff in Spongebob is feasible
No.10 it is a puffer fish who's making a sand pattern😍....
**Green Flash is the offspring of Green Lantern and Flash. Solved that mystery 👏
#10 is so cool, I can't believe a little fish constructs that so perfectly with oceans currents. Very impressive
so amazing
Frost Flowers were Elsa's fault.
Daniel Tosi Same. It's everywhere and it's annoying. I can't believe that they're making Frozen 2 already.
Daniel Tosi I went to see it in March (that's when it came out in my country) and it was okay the first time. But then I kept seeing bento rice boxes with Olaf everywhere. And cosplays and stuffed toys and backpacks and it was so annoying!
let it go.....
That is true
no its hitsugaya's bankai's move
The underwater crop circles are made by a certain fish witch spends days creating it to attract a mate...
a river underwater hmmmm..

La natura è uno spettacolo che nessuno potrà mai eguagliare ,l' essere umano per quanto ci provi non riuscirà mai a regalarci così tante meraviglie .
the only way we can combine (beautiful) with (scary) 😲😌
Shoot, I’m going on a cruise in a week, YAY MORE ANXIETY!
God is sooooo amazing, and totally in control
I have, as have many people, observed the bioluminescence that occurs alot if you walk on the beach at night. It is beautiful and amazing to see.
+debbie dillon It's amazing. Where did you see it?

Hi Chris
"Underwater river" SO THATS HOW SPONGEBOB PHYSICS WORK!!!!!
Clickbait . Where's the thumbnail .
Are you dumb enough to think that the thumbnail was real?
Even though it was technically clickbait the video did not lose its purpose and it was still interesting
Check out Thors Well
Thor’s well is pretty dope.. dude up top is an idiot lol that’s why I never responded to him. The thumbnail is Clearly of the Bermuda Triangle
@@bropob3994 You Stupid That's Gulf Of Alaska You Idiot
The first one is made by a certain type of fish that mates by drawing pictures on the ocean floor.
Which is more scarier -

Freshwater - comment

the ocean crop circles are made by fish to attract mates, the puffer fish.
this scared the hell out of me ....it's very creepy ....omg ....I never knew oceans where this creepy
WE KNOW MUCH MORE ABOUT OUR GALAXY RATHER THEN WE KNOW ABOUT OCEANS
3:25 don't tell me you illustrate that one with a picture from the Interstellar movie :DDDDDDDDDD
Anyone else really wish they could witness a huge wave about to crash into them but not die bc same. Waves just really fascinate me
Those "underwater crop circles" are actually made by the Male puffer fish. Who makes them, amazingly intricately, to attract a mate. He even decorates it with pebbles 🤗
I’m going to make 1 for you

It’s so dangerous seriously
A scientific collection of rare phenomena. So glad they didn't boast of alien mysteries underwater 😂
3:20 That's from Interstellar. Nice work, showing a picture from a fictional planet to illustrate a phenomena on Earth.

I came here becoz of the thumbnail
I thought top 10 had more videos. I recall him trying to sell this channel like 4 years ago.
It would have been interesting to find out the locations of these phenomena!
Those "crop circles" are caused by a mating ritual of a particular fish. Lord.
Idk why, but oceans scare me so much I literally wasn't able to watch the second half of the video
One of the coolest vids
We have explored more of outer space than the depth of the sea.

The picture that you use as a thumbnail doesn't feature in the film. False advertising!
The only reason he/she did that is to pull in kids who are dumb enough to think the thumbnail was real.
MetalHeads \m/ that doesn't mean you can falsely advertise
A fish does those underwater crop circles.
2:02 they was an anime I watched where have is all gone and there was light up things like that I think it was gargantia or something

This is why I never go to cruise ships or anything that involves the ocean... Expect drawing and images, those r fine
