A delivery bike, that’s exactly what I used to make R2400 a month. Here I share how my business journey went, and why I sold my bike. If you liked this video, click the like button, naturally it’s the right thing to do🙂 Wozaaa t
Hey Ndzalo, I enjoyed your video alot.
Anyway as a person who is in the delivery industry, since I lost my job during covid. I started doing MrD later went to UberEats. In my experience your bike was bottom of the barrel when it came to quality.
What I recommend is Sym 125cc or Hero Eco delux, its close to 20k. Those 2 bikes I can bet with them. They are quality bike. Avoid Big Boy at all costs especially Velocity 150. Maybe Big Boy Superlight 200cc its a better one amongst big boy.(i know this because I've driven all big boys including scooters).
When it comes to service, when its brand new, service it at 500km then after service every 3000km or 2500km depending on your drivers style of driving. Also do weekly inspection to get ahead of things that a more prone to breaking.
Service for a bike, a 1lt oil is not more than R100, spark plug is Not more than R50. Then always adjust and lubricate your oil weekly(thats why yours snapped). For tires, always install tubeless, it will save you alot of headaches.
For insurance, you wont pay more than R250 per month and a tracker is not more than R150, I'm using car track. Im sorry im all over the place😅😅,but this business is not profitable when you're renting out bikes, rather do rent to own. That one is way better.
Lets engage, I'll also add if you have more questions, also dont allow someone who does checkers 60 sixty your bike. You'll cry😂😂
Thanks for the information. I’ve already sold my bike though. Your comment is going to be immensely helpful for a lot of people😸🙏 for now I’m good with the bike business😹
I meant to say lubricate and adjust your chain weekly😅😅
Hahah, noted😸
please share the rent to own contract template
Yes please
ive done that bussines bro from 2020 till early this year ,it was good but i had some challenges ,i did evrything right like tracker and so on but still my bike was stolen thats when i decided to sell the remaining 2 ,1 put it for rent for buy and i might go back into it
i later realised the guy who was renting it is the one who stole it but karma is good he ran away but had an accident in capetown and now he doesnt have a leg
i like how uu bussines minded lets get it bro
Really interesting story bro, thanks for the appreciation👊
Sorry
Similar 😂
I have a friend who does this as well, her drivers have to pay her R1500 a week, she keeps track of the trips the drivers make so she has access to see their weekly payouts to avoid problems
R1500?
@@nolondala4117 yes, R1500, a week on Uber eats the drivers can make 3,5 to 4K, so she only takes R1500 and they keep the rest
How does she keep track?
Hai this doesn't make sense
@@bonginkosimazibuko7063how doesn’t it make sense?
" show me your friends , and I'll show you your future "

Do you suggest buying it cash or financing?

Hi, thanks for this wonderful clip. I actually bought a SYM 200 as a second hand bike with the aim of selling at profit but never got an interested buyer. I am stuck with the bike now but atleast i get to use it from time to time when i go to my local shop to buy a few things.
How much can you sell me it for?

😸Thanks bro👊
😮Great video man😮
I have a question, regarding the insurance part, what is the waiting period before you can claim in the event of your bike being stolen?
I’m not sure what the minimum period is, but it should be immediate, that’s how insurance cover usually works
I see, so in terms of claiming if it's stolen or the driver disappears with it, do they require you to have a tracker and for the bike and for it to be parked in a secure location at night?@@NdzaloBaloyi45
People can be your best asset or worst liability 😂😂
Profound😸
You forget to tell us how much does the riders makes for themselves average

U didn't get the number plate before registration. I am thinking about the disc. Isn't the number supposed to be on the disk.
I registered the bike then I went to get the number plate.

Eiy😹 A combination of manual labour & online methods
Your so cool for this💯
Can you ride a bike with only a learners?
I have no idea😅
Yes
You can, but then you will rewrite every 2 years..
Thanks for the tips. 👏
You’re welcome 👊
Mi tirhini khalanga , I am going to follow
Danko, na khensa
Thank you for this video bro! I was also considering this route. Did you consder rent to own instead of rent only for the driver? Would there have been a difference in the money they would have to clock in?
Usually when it is a rent to own, the amount a driver clocks in is slightly higher, it depends on the agreement you set to have with your driver. However that most drivers don’t take rent to own because they would rather just rent out a new bike when yours gets old
Thanks for the info

Tell me, can't I buy a bike and ride it myself?
You definitely can
the guys from maputo n zim always stealing bikes, they get info from the drivers
Did you check if the driver had a license and identification? Did insurance need these details?
I insured it under business insurance as a business vehicle, that would be driven by multiple drivers. so they didn’t need any specific driver details
😂🤣🤣🤣ey your story is very funny man hahaha
😹😹
Va disturber buti yile ku recordeni😅
@@CLIFFORD_HOLENI eish😹
How did you register the bike without drivers license?
You don’t need a bike license to register it as the owner at the traffic department.
Who keeps the bike? You or the driver
The driver keeps the bike
Thanks for sharing , I've been interested in pursuing this venture. Would it be possible to be involved in a direct conversation with you?
Yes, please shoot me an email. Glad you enjoyed the video
Golden 🤝🏿
Thanks bru👊
How much were you paying for insurance
I was paying R200 a month, but my excess was quite high
Howzit Ndzalo please may I have a draft of the contract I also want to get into this business
And then I wanna find out can you not charge 700 a week if you have a better quality bike like the Honda ACE 125 brand new
Please send me an email and I will share the contract. Yes you can charge a higher price for a better bike, obviously all down to negotiation.
What is ur email

Hi brah can you help me purchase a bike in SA?
I’m not sure how I can help😅
My bru, what is your insurance costs monthly?
It shouldn’t cost you more than R250, mine was R190
did u do your insurance as a business?

Don't you think the user didn't steal your stuff
What type of stuff?🧐
@@NdzaloBaloyi45 Dash stuff, chain your tyres ey these people you can never know man
@@thee_crocodile3270 That is a possibility. It’s one of the risks you run in this business. But drivers don’t steal the bike parts, they rather steal the entire bike. In my experience
you would have made more profit if you got a used one
The quality of these bikes is very low, buying a used one is a nightmare. They are full of problems
@@NdzaloBaloyi45 is selling on takeout worth it?
Yes it is
@@NdzaloBaloyi45 do you still do it?
Yes I still do

Heyy man. Great video.🔥🫱🏽🫲🏾Just a quick question. Was the contract a rent to buy contract or just rent??
It was only to rent, no option to buy
@@NdzaloBaloyi45 Thank you Sir🙏🏾
17k you got it cheap , i thought they go for 24k
This is just the cheap end, there are higher quality ones for 24k
you got ripped off 17k for velaphi. yhu!!!
Do you have experience with that bike?😸
@@NdzaloBaloyi45 i've bought these cheap Chinese bikes before , ridden them and later realised that buying them new you are not getting your money's worth. the parts are flimsy and the things just happen to fall apart . I believe you'd have better luck in this business if you had technical knowhow about these things. personally I wouldnt pay more than 10k for this in the used market.
@@YungEarl1Yeah you have a good point, they are very low quality. The used ones are worse because drivers don’t want to rent them
