This works for me. I just cleaned up this small moisture detector. I wiped it with a Clorox wipe and then paper towel, and then use a air dryer to blow it a few minutes. Putting everything back, and it works again. Thank you!
Thanks for this video, man. Mine is about 6 months over the 1 year warranty and the damn O ring took a shit too. Going to replace it tomorrow with the help of your video.
Would be awesome to see how you took that piece apart to get that o ring out to replace. That’s where I’m stuck. Any chance someone knows of a video out there somewhere?
Weird because I replaced a broken o ring and it hasn't leaked in 5 years but yeah you must be right. You are a weird guy. What about your personality made you post this? Are you bored? Do you like to tell people they're wrong? Where are the Videos you've posted for no reason other than to potentially help people? I'm fascinated by you.
In my case, the styrofoam switch that activates the normal blinking light detected water. I opened it and found a noodle under it. Dried the water. Cleaned out the stainless grate, funnel trap, and screen filter. All three were plugged with black sludge putting pressure on the valve o-ring. After cleaning it thoroughly, reassembling, and test a new load, the issue was resolved. I retrack my above statement. I think this was a user error on my part due to improper maintenance.

Where do you find the "O" ring. All I can find is the pump.
That was it, greatly appreciate this, thank you truly.
Thank you very much man, I’m having the same exact issue, much appreciated!
No problem. I fix a lot of stuff so I figured it would take me very little effort to record it and maybe help a few people. Take care.
@@darryl2460 Where did you find the o-ring to replace it with?
@@jaredreeves942 try harbor freight or princess auto. Most automotive stores sell the assorted o-ring kits for around $10
Did this work?
It held for at least 6 months. I sold the condo and the dishwasher stayed.
I doubt it was the o ring. I have been repairing appliances for 30 plus years and have never but 2 times had to replace an o ring like that.

Same model, 3 years old and it failed. Samsung makes poor products. Never again.

We haven't even had ours a week, it worked once and hasn't worked since.
