    Sorry guys I misspoke... the agent holster is made by Bianchi. Apparently I don't know who makes my holsters lol😂

    El Paso Saddlery is a fantastic holster maker. When I was stationed at Ft Bliss I would visit them and buy direct.

    I got a repo shoulder holster for the left hand, got a couple of the hip, one from alien. looking for a good one from kydex for my officers 1911. I realized buying a 1911 army replica from a Turkey with a right handed thumb safety was a mistake and should of gotten one of those combat 1911s with a ambi safety.
    This is a big concern for anyone to have the right kind of holster, I have a rock 22TCM stagger mag and can't find a good holster for it. thanks for your part for us gun carriers.

    I tend to like paddle holsters, and for leather I'm a huge fan of High Noon Holsters. I have a "Sky High" thumb snap belt holster for my Hi Power, and the paddle equivalent for my 5" 1911s. I do also have a couple of Safariland kydex retention holsters, and as much as I like them for a slightly faster draw, they just don't have the character as a nice leather holster.
    Thanks again for another great video!

    I recently bought a colt classic limited edition 1911, new. I haven't bought a holster yet, been meaning to do that. Thx for sharing info ! Those are some very nice holsters. I have been looking at El Paso Saddlery and Galco. I did not know Midway sold holsters. I bought an extra Colt magazine from them. Thanks again!

    I carry my 1911 in a 1920’s pattern Tom Threepersons belt holster by El Paso Saddlery or a Diamond D chest rig with spare mag pouch.

    Good stuff! For a good OWB holster, i recommend the Askins Avenger style. It does a great job of tucking the butt into your side for concealed carry. For an IWB rig, it’s hard to beat the Summer Special style with the dual loops.

    I mostly carry my Colt 1911 MK IV in a Bianchi with a thumb brake strap. This allows for safe carry cocked and locked...

    I carry mine in triple K packer holster. its kinda ugly but its all inclusive for toting in the woods and having a spare mag to go. I want to add a tanker holster one day.

    I think the shoulder and tanker holsters give you some freedom. I wear a Safariland belt holster for security. Sometimes, it feels a little difficult to sit down. I wonder if shoulder holsters or tanker holsters can be used on duty for security guards. If they are, I will purchase one.

    Another great video. I'm ordering a couple of the Austin holsters. What's the cant on that holster? It looks neutral, so it just sits on your belt straight up and down. Thanks

    I tend to spend a lot more money on revolver holsters than I do for 1911’s. I’ve just been using cheap leather Desantis holsters… definitely need to get a nice Austin or Threeperson from El Paso.

    • @PearceBrothersGearGuide
      @PearceBrothersGearGuide  Месяц назад

      Frankly that's just the way horizontal shoulder holsters are if you ever wear one in public/ concealed...undoubtedly somebody will be walking behind you at some point and your muzzle points directly behind you. I understand your criticism though. If you like shoulder holsters maybe consider a horizontal one. Many holster designs have the muzzle pointed in undesirable directions...a good example would be appendix carry, any type of chest holster etc the muzzle will be pointing at the person wearing the holster at some point. That's why trigger discipline and safe handgun designs are so important

    • @waterhead1359
      @waterhead1359 Месяц назад

      @PearceBrothersGearGuide if someone appendix carries and had a ND while drawing or placing in holstetr , it's won't effect anyone else. I witnessed a ND at the range while someone was placing a gun back in holster. It's just a bad design

      It was one of our favorite shows as kids so we chose it as our intro music. We chose the gearing up style intro based on Commando with Arnold from the 80s which has a pretty classic gearing up sequence which we patterned ours after
