Hey Guys, So I just got the Apple Pro Apps Bundle for education and prior to doing that I had a whole lot of questions and concerns like will this work will it expired and can I resale the apps?
So I did some research and digging from those whom I know what have it and I also asked apple some questions with regards to the bundle and here is my experience and why I think it’s totally worth it and it’s a great purchase.

I don’t think it has anything to do with age. Ppl in there all the way up to past their 90s can be and are college students. Age has nothing to do with it.

I bought the Pro Apps Bundle with my new MacBook Pro. I got them pre-installed on the MacBook. But the thing is the softwares aren't added in my Apple ID. I tried to update the FCPx but it says "Final Cut Pro cannot be updated because it was refunded or purchased with a different Apple ID." I only have one Apple ID, so how can they say that I have purchased it from a different Apple ID. What should I do now? Will I get an email with all the codes to redeem the softwares? I just got the MacBook delivered yesterday. Please help me , I'm so confused and exhausted.

hi are you be able to update all the apps when they release new version? Or you stuck with the version on your first installed?
They receive updates just like normal / other regular applications from the App Store

When it comes to the limitations you mentioned that it cannot be for business use and has to be personal use only. Does this mean if I buy the bundle I cannot use Logic pro to make music then sell that music for example? Or use final cut to make youtube videos that make money? Or does that refer to buying this bundle and using it in an established video editing company?
I do video on RUclips and
make money from youtube using Final Cut Pro that was part of the bundle and that is not a problem. You can use the apps in the bundle to do tasks that will generate money for you or your business. What they mean is that you can not be buying them and reselling them all the time.
Also once you redeem the bundle using your Apple ID, every time you get a new Mac, you will have the option to download them automatically with out redeeming them again from the Mac App Store since they are assigned to your Apple ID.
In Germany they check if you are a student by logging in with Unidays (I think that's the name) to get an account there you have to provide your school email and you student ID number + which uni you study at
Unidays is for i tunes students subscription discount or Student discount on iPhones whereas in pro apps bundle they don’t ask for unidays account

Qetsia I go back and fourth between iMovie and fcpx. iMovie I use for videos that need to be published fast and fcpx for ones that don’t really have a time line

turtlez yep the codes aren’t linked with the Apple ID that purchased the bundle. But once redeemed with a certain Apple ID then the redeemed code is permanent associated with that Apple ID

Buying codes and selling them. After multiple purchases this will be detected.

You will get an email with a pdf that has the codes to redeem.
To re deem them, just go to your App Store, then go to where is says redeem

If I get the pro bundle and redeem it, if the laptop Apple ID is diff from the AppStore Apple ID will they apps be on the laptop Apple ID or the AppStore Apple id
Im Tiffany Nguyen so the bundles remain permanent associated with the Apple ID that was used to redeem then the first time. You can redeem them on different laptops as long as the Apple ID being used is the one that initially redeemed them from the AppStore

@@vmsulthan you can buy it with no issue. The Apple website accept credit card from 10 countries to buy it.
