It seems like Super Mario Odyssey has surpass Pokémon Sword/Shield and I heard that both MK8D and Odyssey boosted up when the Mario movie hit in theaters.
Hey quick question. Do you think since the release of the Pokémon Horizons Anime, the sales of both Sword and Shield, as well as Scarlet and Violet will increase? I am honestly hoping for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet to hit at least 27 million copies And for Pokemon Sword and Shield to hit 29 million copies.
I don't think it will move much units. Pokemon Sword/Shield will slowly get to 27m imo And Pokemon Scarlet/Violet will probably go over 25m at least 2 enormous success + the franchise sold over 100m units on Switch alone, which is insane
@@pierre485_ Well, I got some friends who are willing to play their part in making that happen. Now on a side note, do you think people stopped buying Splatoon 2 cause the DLC wasn't available anymore? Cause I can see it hit 17 million copies Splatoon 3 will slowly hit 14 million units at least. And I wanna help bring more consumers onto the Switch,
@@xavierkrantz1098 A little different for Splatoon, since it's a mostly online experience. Looking at Splatoon 2 sales it seems it will remain slow now that Splatoon 3 is out. I expect around 15m for Splatoon 2 and more than that for Splatoon 3 (given it will have DLC and seasonal updates until 2024).
Hope to see a Chart like this as of April 2024
Nintendo will post their next results in about a month.
The data will be as of March 2024.
I will update it then

@@pierre485_ Hmm, do you have copies of Splatoon 2 or Splatoon 3?
@@xavierkrantz1098
I have those numbers :
Splatoon 2 - 13.3m as of March 2022 (no update since)
Splatoon 3 - 10.67m as of March 2023
