I show your videos to my mom (who has dementia) quite often; she just loves them! They facinate her, keep her engaged, and prompts her to ask relevant questions that it kinda feels like I have my old mom back (for a time)! 😊 Can't thank you enough for the wonderful work you do!
What a great idea! When someone with dementia is pretty much confined to safe familiar spaces (at home or in a facility), these videos make a good virtual outing for your mum, provide some new sensory stimulation, and give her something to talk and think about outside of routine day-to-day matters.
Awww that's very sweet and awesome :)
thats a good training ,
Will Pugh-Calotte what an excellent idea! As a nursing student, I’ll be sure to keep this in mind when I’m taking care of patients with dementia
i wish the best for you and your mom
There are two things that Rambalac cannot walk past easily: a drinks vending machine, and a cat.
Thank you, Rambalac!
He's got his priorities straight, that's for sure.
and flowers
Need that green tea tho
It's thirsty work, my fellow ramblers! Meow!
@@atmosphero I'm sipping some right now, Right on!
I love practicing my Japanese by reading the signs, it always gives a cool sense of immersion.
Me too! :D
how are you practicing japanese? I want to start learning japanese, too!
@@mr-fluffy469 In my example, I got lucky. My high school had Japanese classes and I took them for four years. I haven't practiced in a while, but now I'm taking Intermediate Japanese at my college! I've also been using Duolingo to help me re-learn some things. You could try Duolingo! However, I don't know what your experience with the app would be if you have no experience with the language at all. It could be worth a shot though! It's free!
Me three! I am just starting out learning but i read my first sign a few days ago and was even able to translate it without looking up the word from the practices im doing so rewarding!
Unfortunately 99.9% can't travel to Japan do to Covid-19, so, these videos are a welcome gift we all get. Thank you for that. Please, don't stop.
Even if covid didnt exist I couldnt go because I have noone to go with T_T
@@lycon7000 Tokyo is the best place to travel alone.
@@振り切る Im to anxious to take a bus ride alone, nvm traveling!
It's a shame too seeing as most tourist locations that are usually filled to the brim are now empty and ready for exploring.
That's too bad :(
LOVE playing your videos when studying
Japan is a very nice place to live, people are disciplined, courteous and clean surroundings. I love it!
It will be the best 2 hours in my today's evening. Thank you for your walks pal!
Indeed a good vid

Once again, thank you so much for the videos! Everyone, let's say "Thank you rambalac!"
ARIGATOOOOOOO RAMBALAC!!
@@fabunch4o759 yes I am! The colour changes according to how long you've been his member, mine is 1 month so far!
This kind of video is extremely important for history. People in 50 or 100 years or more need to watch those videos. Also, your videos by night are always relaxing and help me a lot to work on my computer at night. Keep up the great work, and thank you very much for sharing your videos about this beautiful country, Japan ... that I've never visited in my life!
the area after 57:50 looks nice. no grafittis and vandalism - which westerners seem to enjoy so much ("grafitti is art" "blank space is boring"...). it looks soo much nicer without vandalism. no yelling, boasting, threatening youth. large residential buildings like a ghetto - but this is the first time in my life that something like it seems livable. from all ive seen, i think the japanese are masters of real life sim city.
This one is one of the best. I love this city. Please dont change anything in your film making manner. They are great. Keep up the good work and stay safe. Bye from Europe.
Whenever I watch Your Videos, the one thing that comes into My mind is that, HOW THE WORLD's MOST POPULOUS CITY IS SO PEACFUL WITH NO UNWANTED SOUNDS, FABULOUS PARKS, BIRDS CHIRPING, NO GARBAGE HERE AND THERE, and so many things in a Positive Way, just HOW!!!!!!!!! I just Love Tokyo, Japan and JAPANESE Government. I Hope I'll be able to Visit JAPAN. It's my Dream to live in Tokyo. Thank you Rambalac for these awesome Videos. Stay Safe Buddy.
It's all about the people. Keep it a secret please, wouldn't want it to become like NYC or the rest of the world...
I see that life here returned to normal in an excellent way, I am very happy, I hope all countries were that responsible to reduce infections. Thank you for sharing this wonderful Rambalac ride
When I visit Japan I think I'm just going to have a day where I just walk the city. Maybe pick a place or two to eat at but just enjoy the ability to be somewhere so walkable and safe.
I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to show us this beautiful country! I hope to one day be able to walk there myself! But until then, your videos are the perfect way to enjoy Japan! Thanks again and looking forward to your next walk :)
For the amount of people that live there it amazes me how clean the city is.
And thanks for all the great walks. I hope a visit it my self one day :)
6:00 i like this japanese unique cross walk sound. I feel like i'm in japan now when i hear this sound.😌 🇯🇵
I hope corona ends as soon as possible, so i can go japan. 🙏
Thanks for a good video ! 😊
From S.Korea🇰🇷
I'm glad to hear that☺️
Come to Japan and enjoy next year!!👍
from Japan🇯🇵
The other beautiful thing is that you divided the video according to the name of the places you had walked in , because it is really helpful
Thank you again
ありがとうございます
👆🏻I hope that meant thank you in Japanese!
That's the purpose. People can find places by name and review.
I particularly love when you walk through all the residential areas. They’re probably not attractive to tourists, no shopping malls or movies etc, but I just like knowing that people’s lives are here. Especially @ 58:00. I don’t do it often (only like literally 4 times) but I sometimes just pick a random bus number and just alight somewhere unfamiliar in my city, especially the residential areas, and just walk around.
Watching your videos really make me feel like visiting those places in Japan. Especially the back alleys, little parks, those pathways beside and under train tracks. It’s weird but I feel like making Koto City a destination for my trip to Japan (whenever that is) and see those high-density residential blocks. It’ll be an interesting experience cos it looks similar to where I live but I’ll know it’s somewhere far away from home.
Ramba you're spoiling us with these long vids recently :)
I love these walks where the day turns to night! 🌅🌃
Thanks for another long walk to keep me company while in at home all day 🥰
I can spare my boring quarantine life for 2 hours of watching this. Thank you again Rambalac for being our escape on this quarantine times.
Nice I like. I am from India my email. rajeekumar64@gmail.com
The Japanese obsession with quality and neatness is visible in every street, nook and corner of Japan. Everything is so immaculate and well organized!!
2 hours well spent , love the content especially Japan , I hope to go there one day and experience the amazing places and visit the places your going to as well. I hope you see this comment and have a nice day 😊
i love that feeling when walking between stations where as you head away from the station it gets quieter with less pedestrians up to a certain point before returning to getting busier and crowded when approaching the next station.
I feel ya. Japan is perfect for these kind of tranquility. One block you are amongst crowds, the next block you are alone, in bliss and surrounded bliss by nature.

30:00 youve slimmed down alot since the earlier vids!

I love these videos!!! My whole family watches them now. They are so relaxing and makes us feel like we are there. Keep up the great work!!!

ありがとうございます😊
I think the beauty of your channel and content is that nothing is really supposed to happen, its just a walk through japan. Its really calming to watch and i enjoy tuning in to all of your videos :)
The camera quality is so good! It captures the sound and scenery very well.
For me who Japan trips has been canceled due to covid, this really means so much. Many thanks!
Please never stop, I love your videos so much it help me with my anxiety. Please don't get sick and be carefull i don't want anything bad happened to you
I feel the need to thank you for these videos. As someone who has a Panic Disorder, I find these very calming. So thank you x
I would definitely lose my way if I took this walk all at once by myself. :)))) Great job, Rambalac! I usually do not have patience with videos longer than 15 minutes, but this one kept me stuck to the screen from the beginning to its very end!
The thumbnail looks absolutely stunning!
I love your neighborhood, especially those little alleys where some stores stay open after dark and one can find great little restaurants. The night spiders were great, too. I was impressed to see every person wearing a mask there. If only Americans could be that smart! Thank you for this great walk. I enjoyed every minute of it.
I really feel like 1 and half hour long video is not enough 🤣🤣🤣, your channel grows !! Thank you always for the lovely videos !🙃🙃🙃🙃
@Rambalac - thanks for another awesome video...
This one was harder to follow on Google Street View, as some of the little streets and alleys aren't on Street View, but that is part of the fun. I must admit, it is strangely satisfying or 'immersive' or something when you see the same cars, the same bikes, the same signs and menu's and etc, in the video that are on Street View.
Thanks again Rambalac - this stuff is just brilliant.
Please stay well and safe. Thank you for making these videos, our whole family loves them!
Ramabalac thank you for this video. It brought me great memories of my 3 month stay in the Kameido area six years ago. Everyday I would walk almost the exact same route back to the hotel (44:50) from the little East Exit of Kameido Station and thinking to myself this is the greatest feeling in the world. I will be downloading this video and keeping it forever.
I love watching these evening/night time videos.
It reminds me of when I was at highschool in Japan walking home late at night after school club.
Sometimes me and my friends would go to McDonald's or Yoshinoya and get some food for small dinner
It's very nostalgic
(I still go to Japan every year for 1 month holiday and walk around at night, but it's nice to watch it too )
(I lived in Nagoya city, 2 years)
I think, once you've lived there, you return every year :)
@@kaorushiroe8414 there is always something new to see and do.
I love Japan.
The food, people, beautiful scenery.
I was supposed to go this year, but because of CV-19, I couldn't go.
I was thinking of going next year in Spring, very beautiful.
A wonderful video that starts in the late afternoon and ends almost at night, a long 2-hour walk that fascinates and relaxes. I am training my Japanese lessons with your videos, trying to read the signs that I see along the way. Congratulations on your work, Rambalac.
Thank you for your every videos because while waiting to be able to travel to Japan , you are already showing me a taste and it's so good .
I watch your videos every day .
I really love your content! Keep it up!
I hope that you will take us even more on these relaxing adventures.
@@Japanexplorer1 I like it :)
Love this channel. So relaxing and makes me feel I am travelling even though I am mainly in the house here in Scotland due to covid. The cities in Japan always seem so chilled, the people seem so nice. I can't wait to go and visit! :-)
I always watch these videos before sleep. Just so relaxing 😍

i missed my father-in-law two days back, your videos are a great stress reliever at this moment for me, i appreciate your work, thanks a ton,
Evening walks are my favorite walks.
The more I follow Rambalac, the more I'm sure I'll move to Tokyo one day. Thanks for making it easier ;)
Thanks Rambalac, going to Japan is my best dream. With your videos I can go there!
Thanks man👍
My area is in full lockdown from hefty outbreak in area, these videos saving my sanity - it’s so peaceful seeing life go by in such a beautiful place
i like to imagine this is a GTA game and i'm just walking around in first-person mode
Спасибо за прогулку!!!! Замечательно!
Большое спасибо за прогулку по вечернему городу! Как будто побывала в Токио.....здорово!!!! Красивый город....
Thank you for every step you walk and share with us.
I watch your videos constantly; especially at night to help me sleep. When I get up, they are the first thing I want to start my day with.
You are giving the world a very special gift.
Thank you.
It is great having video like this, some people they doesn't change to visit a place and this kinds of video perfect for them. I enjoy watching this video.
日本に住む外国人です。最近1年はこんな状況であまり出られません。このようなビデオを見るとまるで自分がその場にいるようで、何とか満足しています。
Absolutely Beautiful. Very Clean. Thank you so much for this. I love Japan
I want to do that too, i mean record my walking in my own country, looks real chill
I would loved to see the video.
This episode's konbini score (with some issues): 4*-3.5**-3
4 Family Marts
3.5 7-Elevens
3 Lawsons
(*) at around 1:42:50 on the right there's a neon sign that resembles a Family Mart's, but it didnt make the count (too sketchy)
(**) at 30:40 a 7-Eleven sign, but no shop ever enters the frame, so half point
Beautiful walk! Greeting from a London walker 😀 🇬🇧🇯🇵
I admire how patient Japanese people are at crossings, and wait for the green light.
Как классно в Японии, такое впечатление, что тороплюсь я один! :)
Kinshicho is home for me when I visit Tokyo 😃 Nice to see you rambling around streets I know well. It’s always such a quiet area at night.
These videos are the best thing I've seen. I absolutely love them. I could sit here and watch for hours!
Just watch your video again after hectic week and its truly relaxing
Love the river part the most!! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your videos and work ! I feel like i know Japan with your videos.
Wow. The one thing that I immediately notice on your videos is that how CLEAN Japan streets are. I'm amazed. I always admire Japanese culture, the people are so disciplined. Just praise and awe to this beautiful country. My wish is to visit Japan in the future.
Looks gorgeous plus the spiders must be having a good time just hanging there from their webs.
Thank you for your calming videos …
شكراً لكم
Great job making an interesting walk, once again!
I've had some really bad wanderlust recently, your videos are so fascinating to me. I cannot express how grateful I am, thank you.
I loved the cameo from the Camera - I wondered what your camera set-up looked like :)
Great Video ! I stumbled across your videos and now I'm addicted. I like how this video is of an residential area with normal people going about their lives .
Ram i love you! Your channel is definitely my favorite on RUclips ❤️
Kinshicho is the area I stayed in when I visited so this was really cool, thanks rambalac
I love this video. It shows what society can be like. Curtious, polite, clean, showing a natural deference to the well-being of others, collectively. No vandalism, graffiti, or antisocial behavior anywhere. Truly commendable and inspiring.
Thank you for posting.
I stayed in a hotel near Kinshicho station when I first visited Japan some 15 years ago. I never imagined that I would one day live in Tokyo. Kinshicho and the Koto ward are in what used to be outside the proper area of Tokyo, outside the "low city" area beyond the Kanda and Sumida rivers. The Sumida river used to be the boundary to Tokyo, with the low city consisting of what are now the Taito and Chiyoda city areas. A couple centuries ago Sumida and Koto were rice fields and marshlands, you would never know it to look at them now. I used to live in Higashi Kanda, which was near the Sumida River, about 20 minutes walk from Akihabara, and have walked all the neighborhoods in Rambalac's video. But, like the Jeffersons, I eventually moved up and out of the low town, and now live in a tall building in Minato City. It has been months since I have used a subway, bus, or train, as I now work from home, and have a car. But I miss the days of living in a small apartment in the low city, working at a regular company, and commuting on the train each day.
One of your best! I love those back alleys! Like exploring a mysterious maze!
I remember my hotel was near kinshicho station, many memories. thank you so much!
Your videos are always good quality scenic walks. Thank you.😀
es verdad, mi madre tambien esta postrada en cama y disfruta mucho con los videos, un fuerte abrazo y sigan transmitiendo, gracias.
Did anyone notice the love hotel? Our family has walked around Tokyo quite a bit. I'm thankful the kids have not asked to many questions so far. It's...a...um...hotel. No, we won't be staying there.
Your videos are so relaxing to watch! I can't wait to see a video of a similar evening walk in Koiwa, just a few stops from there! You were so close! Thanks again for your time and energy making and posting your videos!
I felt that Tokyo is well-organized. It`s fun to watch videos. I`m watching it with interest.
Thank you for you videos! It makes Japan closer to my heart!
